From the first moment she saw him, she knew that she would have to stay away from him. She agreed with Harry and Ron that he was a slimy git and a prat. But what she didn't tell them was that he was an unbelievably, sexy, slimy git/prat. God, hormones were a bugger.

It was easy to avoid being alone with him. It wasn't like he was looking to spend time with her. Here at Hogwarts, she was the bookworm, the smart girl, and the sexless friend of Harry and Ron. What no one knew, was that at home, she was quite different.

At home, in her muggle world, she was a girl who went to parties and sometimes went home with the wilder boys. Some of her favorite memories began with a bottle of whiskey and ended with her asking some boy in biker clothes, "Did you see where my knickers landed?"

No one at Hogwarts knew of her double identity. It amused her to watch Pansy throw herself at Draco. She sometimes whiled away her studying time, by fantasizing what she would do to Draco if she ever had the chance. Of course, she would perform a memory charm on him afterwards, because she couldn't have him destroying her perfectly constructed lie.

Of course like all lies, her's eventually had to fall apart. It all happened, because of that damn toad. She didn't know how many times she had played the nice girl and helped Neville find his toad. But this time, she found a bigger toad holding a littler toad. "I know you're bonding with your kinsman Malfoy, but would you mind giving Trevor back to me?"

Draco had just looked at her, as he held the poor toad out an open window. She sighed. "Malfoy, haven't you moved beyond the picking on animals stage? I would think by now you'd be sacrificing humans."

Draco still wasn't talking to her, but he was staring at her.

Deciding that she should just take the damn toad, she walked up and grabbed it from his hand. When she turned to go, Malfoy called her name. "Granger."

She turned to look at him in exasperation. "What?"

Looking into his eyes was a mistake. She realized as soon as she did it. She could suddenly feel him moving around in her memories. She tried to close her eyes, but she felt herself being sucked into his silver gray orbs. Then she blinked, and he smirked. "I knew there was something false about you," he informed her, as he walked off with his trademark smirk firmly in place.

Hermione ran back to the common room, holding onto Trevor, and cussing under her breath. After shoving Trevor at a grateful Neville, she went to wash her hands. But she couldn't stop wondering what Draco was going to do. What did he know? Did he know she lusted after him? God, that would be humiliating. Or worse, did he know about her double life?

She came to the unfortunate conclusion that she would have to speak to him. Deciding that there was no time like the present, she went in search of him. In her fantasies, she always pictured a romantic tryst in the astronomy tower, so that is where she went. She just couldn't figure out if she wanted him to be there waiting for her or not.

When she walked in and saw him lounging insolently against the wall, her breath caught in her throat. "I was wondering how long it would take for you to come and find me," he drawled.

She leaned against the opposite wall and smiled. "What exactly did you discover while you were rooting around in my brain, Malfoy?"

Draco stood up and walked over to lean against the wall next to her. "Which Hermione am I talking to right now? The one who spends all of her time in the library, or the one who let some guy named Jack shag her against a wall?"

Hermione chuckled and smiled at him. "Which Hermione would you like to be talking to?"

She tried to keep her breathing regular as Draco reached out unbuttoned the top button of her blouse. "Well, there aren't any books up here, but there is this rather sturdy wall you're leaning against."

"Right, well, we should go with what we've got then," Hermione agreed, as she reached over and pulled Draco's face down to her's for a scorching kiss.
