The Road Not Taken

Halloween, 1981. What might have happened if Sirius had not chased Peter down? What if he took Harry and ran, instead? What if Fudge doesn't believe Sirius should have Harry to raise? What if Peter was faced with Azkaban, instead?

Sirius has made his decision, but now he has the child of his dead bestfriend and nowhere to run. Or does he? Remus receives an unexpected visitor that turns his world upside down, and the final two Marauders must now make the wizarding world believe that Sirius wasn't the secret keeper.

Snape won't get his way, thanks to Dumbledore being in the right place at the right time. The Headmaster knows the truth, but can they find Peter before he dissappears? Sirius and Remus fight to find to prove the truth before a rat gets away with murder.

Confession or not from Peter, Minister Fudge doesn't want Sirius to have custody of recently orphaned Harry Potter. When suddenly Harry goes missing right out from underneath Sirius' nose, he and Remus have to fight an evil that is in some ways worse than Voldemort--the Ministry.
