"Bellatrix?"

"Yes?" A tall girl with long blonde hair glanced up at a man with short black hair.

"What are you doing?" The man's voice was gruff, yet warm.

"Working on my studies Father." Bellatrix turned back to her books, reading quite fast.

"See Sirius. This is how you become a member of the Black family that most would be proud of. You study."

"Yes Uncle John." A small boy with black hair and blue eyes glared at the floor. Sirius was only 10, but still very annoyed with his family. His second cousins, Bellatrix and Narcissa, were the best in the family, as he was constantly reminded by his mother, father, and every other cousin other then Aurther Weasley and Bellatrix and Narcissa's sister Andorma, as she was called.

"Father?" Bellatrix glanced up at her cousin smirking.

"Yes my dear?"

"What the hell is Sirius doing here?"

"Just being showed what a good Black does."

"REMUS ROMULUS LUPIN!!" A woman with light sandy colored hair and green eyes yelled at a small boy, also sandy haired, however with brown eyes. "HOW DARE YOU?! YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED! AND TAKING ROMULUS WITH YOU! IT'S A WONDER THE TWO OF YOU ARE STILL ALIVE!"

"Mother, Romulus wanted to come."

"HE WANTED TO COME DID HE? I SUPPOSE THIS IS AN EXCUSE FOR NEARLY KILLING HIM! YOU EVIL, FOUL LITTLE BOY! WHY DID YOU NOT STOP HIM?"

"I tried..."

"OH YOU TRIED DID YOU? WELL YOU DIDN'T TRY HARD ENOUGH!"

"JESSICA! Stop yelling dear woman. What are you going on about now?" A man with blonde hair and brown eyes appeared in the doorway of the kitchen.

"Your son Remus, decided he and Romulus would go fly on a broomstick, when the both of them, are only TEN YEARS OLD!"

"Jessica, be still. I will take care of Remus. Go and sleep now."

"Fine." The woman stalked off.

"That was a close one." The man grinned at his ten year old son. "Next time wait for me before you go flying."

"Peter, go back to bed." A tall, lanky man with red hair glanced at his son, pushed him into his room, and shut the door.

"Rotten parents." A short plump boy with brown hair muttered under his breath.

"Peter, I heard that. Bed!"

"Ahh! Old chap of mine. John, having family troubles at all?"

"Not at all James. Jessica being a problem?" John glanced at his friend for a moment.

"When she isn't, I'll be dead." James grinned at John and the two began to talk about work, as a tall girl and a small boy began to glance at each other, from far far away.

Glancing at his bed, Remus Romulus Lupin made sure the bed was made perfectly. I must stop dreaming about her. It's annoying. But what if it means... No! It couldn't. Could it? As it was Remus' first day back at Hogwarts, everything had to be perfect. One thing wrong, and Remus was sure he would panic. Now in his fifth year, Remus was starting to fear the badge he was given. The prefect badge to be exact.

"REMUS!" A tall lanky bean pole with black untidy hair lunged at Remus, and he dogded laughing.

"Trying to kill me Prongs?" Remus stood up pushing The bean pole to the side, revealing it to be a boy of about fifteen, with hazel eyes and black hair. The boy stood up, found his glasses askew on the floor and put them on.

"Re-mus." The boy had a fake whining look on his face and Remus could only laugh at him.

"Oh shut up James. You whine to much." The voice came from a bed. A lump under covers with black hair coming from the covers.

"Up Sirius. Up you go." Remus pulled Sirius out by his feet, which conveintly, happened to hang over the bed.

"No touchy. Go away. REMUS!" Sirius yelled at his friend, and took a swong at him, which Remus ducked.

"It's time for breakfast." James pulled Sirius on the floor and whacked him hard in the head.

"You only wanna go to see Evans you big load of potatoes." Sirius grinned at Remus, who grinned back.

"That's not true, I...I... I need to eat." James blushed scarlett, and the three set off for breakfast.

"You know, you could just ask her out." Remus suggested, trying to get the picture of Bellatrix out of his mind. However, it was very hard to do.

"Yeah right. Oy Evans! Wanna go out with me?" James said joking, as they entered the Great Hall. A girl with aburn hair and green eyes, glanced in his direction looking disgusted.

"As if Potter." She turned to her friends and her own prefect badge glinted asshe turned in the light.

"MOONY! PADFOOT!" James turned to Sirius and Remus and turned the color of the Evans girl's hair.

"You said it, not us." said Sirius, not flinching.

"Like that helps the matter at all." James glared at his two friends, and wandered off to another part of the Gryffindor table.

"Well, he certainly overreacted." Sirius glanced at Remus looking confused.

"Oh shut up Padfoot." Remus grinned at Sirius beofre turning his attention to a girl who was just walking in the Great Hall. A tall girl with long blonde hair and forget-me-not blue eyes. The girl surveyed the Great Hall, before turning and walking stiffly up to her own table, the Slytherin table. Glancing in the direction of the Gryffindor table, Remus could have sworn she was glaring at him, in pure disgust.

"Remus likes Bellaticks, Remus like Bellaticks."

"Shut up Sirius." The words automacticaly came out of his mouth, as though he had said them his whole life.
