Consequences
This story is a random little fic that has been created in the tradition consequences way (ie writing a sentence then covering it up and someone else writing a sentence). See what you make of it and let your mind fill in the gaps! If you like it, tell me and there will be more. If not, well, just tell me what you think!
p.s A different font means a different person writing.
Harry approached Fawkes cautiously. He held out his hands and the bird flew to him.
"Oh Ron, I can't believe that Cho would talk to Malfoy!" Harry said sadly. Ron nodded.
"I mean what does he see in her? I...I mean...yeah," Ron blushed. Harry looked at him strangely.
Meanwhile, Hermione was planning a great expedition across the lake. The flowers were blooming and she was picking daisies in the school grounds. Her chains were pretty but suddenly Goyle grabbed her and drew her towards the Forbidden Forest. Disaster!

The grass was very green today and so was Draco's broccoli soup as he stirred it around his bowl with a piece of bread. Damn not being able to eat it! Stupid Hex! Instead of eating, he decided to find out where Goyle was, having not actually seen him at lunch, which usually indicated that something was very, very wrong. He got up.

Seamus sat up in his usual tree, spying on the girls in the Quidditch changing room. It was an oak tree and one of the acorns fell, landed on Ron's head (who had been silently staring up at him) and knocked him out.
Draco was combing the grounds, looking for Goyle. The guy hadn't been anywhere in the castle and Draco needed someone to look menacing for him, as Crabbe was currently in the hospital wing, sporting bunny ears. Glancing around, he noticed that the door to the forbidden forest was swinging open. He thought hard for a moment. No intelligent person would actually venture inside there, even during the day. That settled it then. Goyle was inside. Intriuged, Draco pulled out his wand and carefully entered the forest. Grimacing, he followed the trail of heavy footprints that he was sure would lead him to Goyle.

Harry watched Cho eat at lunch, choosing whatever she chose. When she left the room, he followed, dodging around corners so she couldn't see him. He didn't want her thinking he was obsessed or anything. Peering around the side of a bookcase, he saw she had gone into the Girl's Bathroom. He snuck in after and scanned the area, looking for her. A second later he saw stars before blacking out and collapsing on the tiled floor. He had just been walloped over the head by a bag filled with extremely heavy text books.
Cho giggled. "Oops," she said.

Ron opened a bleary eye.
"What were you doing down there?" Seamus asked curiously.
"Nothing, just admiring the view!" he muttered and hurried off.
Seamus scratched his head thoughtfully.
"He's a weird one," he said to himself.

Draco was drawing to a clearing, well, as clear as you could get in a dark, gloomy forest. In front of him he could hear a strange chattering. As he got closer to the open ground, he could see thousands of strange, goblin like things crowding around something in the centre of the grass. One of them turned and shrieked loudly as it caught sight of him. Quickly, all the creatures turned around, viewing him, their eyes flashing red. One threw a spell at him, which hit his wand and caused it to shatter, the splinters falling through his fingers like sand in an hourglass. Another demon-thing threw a spell which tossed Draco into the air and made him land with a thump. Groaning from the pain, Draco turned back to look at the creatures once more as he saw that the thing they had been crowding around was the body of Goyle. Draco's eyes widened in horror. He saw that the creatures were forming a circle around him and the corpse, trapping him. They looked mean - and hungry. Sending a silent apology to his dead friend, Draco summoned up the last of his strength and used a spell of desperation, a spell that would turn the nearest dead thing into the object the caster needed most. Goyle's body glittered and turned into a sword. Though sorely afflicted, Draco leaped up (now shirtless) and grabbed the sword, fencing like Braveheart through the wall of creatures.

Harry had finally regained conciousness. He opened one eye carefully and noticed that Cho Chang was beaming down at him.
"Uh...Cho...I was just....uh," Harry mumbled pathetically.
"Following me?" Cho interrupted. "Have you become deluded stalker boy now?"
Harry's face turned red and he distracted himself by looking at the floor. When he looked back at her, he noticed she was still grinning.
"Come on," Cho laughed. "Lets go to the Hospital Wing and check you're okay."
Harry took her outstretched hand and together they headed to the hospital wing.
"By the way Harry," Cho said, "It's good to see you again..."

Ron was wandering aimlessly around the grounds with no shoes on, enjoying the feel of grass beneath his feet. As the sun started to set, a paintbox of colours exploded in the sky. He stared in wonder as the sky became a sight to beautiful for him to see. A clicking noise distracted him and he looked behind him to see who was disturbing him in this paradise and caught sight of Colin Creevey taking pictures of the awesome sunset. Ron watched in admiration as Colin took the pictures. He took a look at one of the pictures, already developed. It was amazing.
"You're really good at this!" he said, slapping Colin on the shoulder.
Colin looked at Ron's hand on his shoulder and took a deep breath.
" Maybe I could take your picture - in private?" he asked nervously.
"Maybe you could," Ron replied with a sparkling smile.
Together they watched the sunset until all the colours had faded and the sky was dark and speckled with stars......

Hermione's escape to attract Harry had gone terribly wrong. However, being drowned at the bottom of the lake would of the lake could have attracted Harry's attention if he had known.....but wait. Draco struggled out of the Forbidden Forest with his clothes in rags and scratches all over his body. But he was alive. As he headed back to school, he was too numb to even begin to process all that had happened that day. He heard desperate splashing and screaming coming from over the lake and didn't even stop to think. There had already be too much death that day. He waded through the shallower part of the lake and swam the rest of the way, his body exhausted, towards the screaming. When he reached the girl, he grabbed her and made for the surface, before collapsing on the edge of the lake. Both he and the girl were breathing heavily and he saw that she was Hermione Granger.
"What the hell do you think you were doing Mudblood?" Draco panted furiously.
Hermione swept her arms around him and kissed him. Draco was too tired to do anything but lean against her and wait for her to stop.
"Thank you," she said breathlessly.
Draco's hard, grey eyes softened.
"No problem," he said.
The two of them sat there by the lake, holding each other, and waited for the feeling to come back to their legs.
"Do you think anyone will find us?" Hermione asked.
"In a way, I hope they don't," Draco replied and wrapping her in his arms, he kissed her softly under the pale moon...
