The Kiss

Takes place just after HBP ends. Draco is being kept at Snape's house for security reasons. One day his father shows and things get a bit...deadly.

Draco traveled only by night. He watched as the moon went from new to full—that night he stayed in hiding—and then back to new. He kept moving. He kept finding new places to go, new places to sleep. He felt like an escaped convict. He refused to stay anywhere he had to spend money or anywhere he knew he would be recognized, leaving very few magical options open to him. After all, how many people didn’t know a Malfoy when they saw one?

Draco gets caught up in the Trio's mission when he realizes that he has useful information. He joins them on their journey to find and destroy the Horcruxes and their journey takes them to Diagon Alley where they find that Snape, not Draco, is a wanted man. What could possibly happen when Harry and Draco find themselves alone together?

“Shove off,” Harry nearly yelled. Draco was taken aback. No one had ever, in his entire seventeen years, talked to him as Harry had. Harry was the only one who seemed to know just what to say to push his buttons and then make him feel freer than ever before. Draco let the silence grow as the two of them stood at opposite ends of the room, staring each other down. Draco suddenly felt the unmistakable urge to go to Harry and pull him into his arms. However, he held himself back, knowing that Harry wasn’t like that. He knew, perhaps better than anyone else, that Harry was straight.

Harry and Draco destroy one of Voldemort's Horcruxes and Draco corners Harry about Ginny. Later the four of them attend Bill and Flure's wedding.

One-sided love. Such a torture should not exist.

It's the final battle and everything comes out.
