Chapter 2
"Sarah, I'm a witch," Hermione said slowly.
"I know," Sarah told Hermione.
"How did you know?" asked Hermione looking puzzled.
"You see, I'm something called a W.A. or Witch/Wizard Angel. I'm half witch half angel. That means I don't go to regular wizarding school. I have to go to a special school with others like myself. I could tell you were a witch because I see other people differently. I can see a type of aura around other W.A.s and wizards."
Hermione had such mixed emotions at the moment. Too much was happening way too fast for her.
"Sarah, it's really late, I need to get to bed and think all this through. In the morning I will go get coffee and bagels, then we can talk all about this."
"Okay, I understand, this is a lot to take in one night. I'll go find a hotel room. Call me in the morning."
"No, I have an extra bedroom you can sleep in. I just need to put bedding on it. Will you help?"
So the two friends went into the room to make a bed for Sarah.
When Sarah was all situated in her guest room Hermione went into her room to think."
"I can't believe she's alive. After all these years, she thought to herself. Why didn't she do anything before now? If she had really cared she would have come five years ago. Maybe she couldn't," a small voice said inside her head. "I wonder why she came tonight of all nights. I wonder if it has anything to do with me wishing to rewind time. No, that would be weird. Why else would she be here telling you this stuff," the small voice said again. How would she do that? No one can rewind time without a time-turner. Once that small voice said, "She's no ordinary witch."
Meanwhile Sarah was in her room talking to Mayania, the head of Accian School for the Gifted. That was the name of the school for W.A.s. Sarah had attended there for 9 years and was the top of her class.
"Please, can I rewind it? She is hurting so much, and she needs someone. I can't be there for her, so I want to give her someone that will be there for her."
"No, we need you here with us, you are our best field agent. We can't risk you this way."
"What if I want to risk it."
"I won't let you, we are talking about Harry Potter, the boy who lived. Do you know how much that will alter time?"
"Yes, it will change life for the better, for all."
"It will only change the wizarding world, I will not risk you like this. We need you more than this Hermione girl. If you risk yourself like this you know what must happen."
"Yes, I know what will happen, but I DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!"
"Well the rest of the W.A. community does care. We need you here."
"So you condemn this girl to a life of loneliness?"
"You are more important than one witch."
"If you don't give me the clock, I will find another way. I know others, as you well know."
"You want to ruin your life like this. You are practically on top of the Ministry." "You are willing to give al this up for a friend."
"Yes."
"Well, alright I will send you the clock. It will be there in the morning. Remember what you are doing Sarahlyn."
"You know I hate it when you call me by my full name."
"I will call you by your proper name no matter what you say."
"Thank you so much for this chance Mayania. You have no clue what this means to her, what it means for me."
"I am giving you one chance, only one. Remember that, if you don't succeed time goes back to the way it is now."
"Yes, I know this. Once again, thank you."
"Yeah, yeah and don't you forget it. Now go to bed, you have a big day tomorrow."
She turned of the radio with which she had been talking with Mayania. All the W.A.'s had little radio's with which they could communicate. Sarah's was little, about the size of a floppy disc, and was covered with pictures of people she knew. She had bought it at a shop in Delacate's Radios, a shop in Ination Lane. Ination Lane was the W.A. version of Diagon Alley.
Sarah looked at the clock; it read 11:24.
"Well I best get to sleep, after all in the morning we are going back five years."
