Chapter Eleven- And They All Lived.....

Luna looked at the altar. A few moments of dead silence followed that person's proclamation. Luna looked around. Who could have possibly wanted to stop the wedding?

"No, I can't make you do this, Harry," Ginny sighed. "Come on, we have some things to talk about."

Ginny led a bewildered Harry out of the church.

Mrs. Weasley stood up. "Did someone put her up to this?! Eh, did you?!"

The wedding guests crouched away from Mrs. Weasley in their seats. It was clear none of them wanted to feel Mrs. Weasley's wrath.

Luna took advantage of the situation and slipped out through a side door in the church. Luna crept around the corner and saw Ginny and Harry. Luna bent down and crawled into a bush. I shouldn't be eavesdropping. Luna thought. But what if it's about that incident in Harry's seventh year that Ron walked in on?

"Ginny, what is this about?" asked Harry urgently. "I don't want to make your mum mad...."

"Harry, I can't make you marry me if you don't want to!"

"What are you talking about?"

"It's just; I don't feel like you really want to marry me."

"No one forced me to, Ginny!"

"I know, I know. But I'm not stupid, Harry. I can feel something's holding you back. Just tell me what it is! If you really want to do this, tell me so we can put it behind us and move forward, okay?"

Luna heard a buzzing in her ear. She swatted at the noise. Luna felt a sting on her neck. She swatted at it again. She felt yet another sting. Luna looked between the branches, there was a beehive. She hit the beehive so it fell to the ground. Luna saw a swarm of bees come toward her. Luna flung herself out if the bushes so she wouldn't get stung.

Harry looked down at Luna. "What are you doing?"

"Bees, little buggers," Luna said sheepishly. She got to her feet.

"Well, since you heard everything, I think you better confess," sighed Ginny, folding her arms and looking at Luna expectantly.

"What? Confess? Confess what?" Luna asked.

"You know, Luna. Think back," said Ginny.

Oh, Luna knew. But she was NOT going to admit it to Ginny. That would ruin the entire wedding! Luna could tell from the look on Harry's face he knew exactly what too.

"Or, Harry, maybe you'd like to tell me?" offered Ginny.

Luna knew she couldn't do that to Harry. She had to come forward and explain. "Okay, I know. I can explain."

Harry looked slightly relieved.

"It was a long time ago, and, Harry and I were alone in this room. We just started talking and...we almost kissed...." Luna trailed off.

"But you didn't?" asked Ginny.

"No, but we got very close," supplied Harry.

Ginny shot Harry a kind of warning look. "Was this our sixth year? When you Luna went to 'find her quill' and you went 'to pack'?"

"Yeah," answered Harry.

"How did you find out?" wondered Luna.

"Ron told me," Ginny said simply.

"Oh, yeah, Ron did kind of walk in on us," Harry said, his face reddening slightly.

Ginny put a hand on her head. "I kind of wish you had told me this yourselves, versus having Ron wanting to punch Harry instead."

Ginny took a deep breath and looked at the two. "Well, what are you two going to do about it now?"

"What? Me and Luna?" Harry said, looking confused.

"Harry, I've tried before, and I can't make you love me. I don't think you've actually realized how much I've matured since Hogwarts." Ginny smiled sadly. "I think I always knew it, but I was afraid to admit it to myself. I knew you always loved Luna."

"Ginny...." Harry looked at her.

It was the first time Harry had ever truly looked at her. But he had realized it too late. Ginny had matured, and outgrown him. They both could see that now.

"You have, Ginny," Harry said, shaking his head. "I couldn't see that. You deserve someone better."

"Now, come on, we still have time for a wedding," Ginny smiled at Luna.

"You mean...Harry and me?" Luna questioned.

"Yes! Who else would I mean?" Ginny smiled and gave Luna a hug. "Go get married!"

Live your life for those you love
And I'm still waiting for
You to be the one I'm waiting for

And she's got it all
All figured out
And she won't let you doubt
She knows it

I'm still waiting for
You to be the one I'm waiting for

Something tells me that this is going to make sense
Something tells me it's going to take patience
Something tells me that this will all work out in the end

Chapter Twelve- Happily Ever After

Ginny opened the doors to the church. Everyone whipped around to see who had opened them.

"Ginny! Oh, Ginny dear, what was that all about?" Mrs. Weasley hurried up to her daughter.

"Don't worry, mum, a wedding is still on."

"Oh, good! Then get back up there!" Mrs. Weasley gestured towards the altar.

"Not mine, Luna and Harry's."

Mrs. Weasley looked at Ginny. "Are...Are you serious?"

"Yes, Mum, I am." Ginny smiled all the more widely.

Mrs. Weasley sat back down submissively and did not say another word.

Ginny handed Luna her bouquet. Luna smiled broadly as she walked down the aisle to Harry.

The minister started over from the beginning. Luna couldn't take her eyes off Harry the entire time; she couldn't believe this was actually happening. She was getting married to Harry.

Before she knew it, Luna had said "I do" and was kissing Harry. Harry took Luna down the aisle and they opened the doors to the outside world. A fresh burst of sunlight hit Luna's face, warming it.

Luna smiled and looked over at Harry. She knew now that everything would be all right.

Three Years Later....

Luna picked up her baby girl, Autumn, and gave her a kiss on her forehead. "Are you ready to go visit Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione?" Luna cooed.

Harry opened the car door. They had to travel by Muggle transportation because the distance was too far for Luna to travel magically; she was pregnant with her and Harry's second child.

"Ah! Harry, where're you going?" Ron asked, coming up the Potter's drive.

"To your house!" said Harry.

"Oh, really? I thought we were supposed to be coming here..." Ron said.

Harry laughed. "It doesn't matter where. Does everyone else know it's here now?"

"Yeah, because they thought it was here in the first place," answered Ron.

"Uh, well, good then."

Luna got out of the car. "Ron! What are you doing here?"

"We came for the reunion, of course! Hermione's coming too; it's taking her a longer though because she's so big."

"And you couldn't help, Ronald!" Hermione said heatedly, puffing up the walk.

"Sorry, 'Mione," Ron said sheepishly.

"Ron, don't call me that," Hermione said tensely. "You know I hate it."

"But it's such a cute pet name," Ron teased.

Hermione rolled her eyes but she couldn't hide a smile. She gave Luna a hug. "It's getting hard to hug now, since both our stomachs are so big!"

"Harry!" Neville came walking up the driveway, his arm linked with Ginny's.

"Neville, how have you been?" asked Hermione. "It's been forever!"

"I'm doing brilliant. Ginny and I are engaged now, you know." Neville beamed and Ginny, who smiled up at him and gave his hand an affectionate squeeze.

"Congratulations!" Hermione smiled at them. "I can tell you'll both be very happy."

"How are you such a marriage expert? We've only been married eight months," Ron asked Hermione, who gave him a sharp look.

"But your baby's due this month..." Neville said, trailing off, then, realizing what that meant, and flushing crimson.

Hermione's cheeks turned pink. Next to her Ron's ears and neck turned scarlet.

"Let's get into the house, there are some refreshments," Luna tried to move on to a new subject.

The group moved inside. Soon they were all seated around the fire, reminiscing about their school days. Luna was glad to be in such familiar company, seeing everyone so happy and full of life.

Hermione was bouncing Autumn on her lap, and Autumn was gurgling with joy. Ginny was resting her head on Neville's shoulder, and Neville was stroking her head. Luna was relieved to see Ginny happy, she knew Ginny was okay with what happened on her wedding day, but Luna needed the reassurance. As if reading Luna's mind, Harry took Luna's hand and gave it a swift kiss. Luna turned and smiled at him.

Hermione handed Autumn back to Luna. Hermione excused herself for a while. She came back seconds later, white as a sheet.

"My water broke!" Hermione said.

"Oh, my God...." Ron's face drained.

"We have to get you to the hospital!" Ginny grabbed Hermione and put her in the fire place, she grabbed some floo powder and the two were off.

"The floo powder won't hurt the baby, will it?" asked Ron weakly.

"No, Ron it won't," Luna assured him. "Now let's follow them!"

The remainders of the group were soon at the hospital, anxiously waiting outside Hermione's hospital room.

"It's coming a month early!" Ron said, nervously pacing the room. "It will be fine, won't it?"

"The baby will be fine, Ron." Luna put her arm around Ron's shoulders, which were now shaking. "Just calm down. Hermione's going to need you, and you're in no condition to help her now."

Ron nodded and stopped pacing. "Right, right, I'm fine. I'll be fine. Right."

After what seemed to be an eternity, a doctor came out. "It's a boy!"

Ron's face drained again, but a look of relief flooded over his face. "Is it healthy, doctor?"

"Yes, very healthy, it will be fine."

"Are you sure?" Ron asked again, nervously.

The doctor looked annoyed. "Yes, I'm sure."

"Really?"

"Now Ron, let's leave the nice doctor alone and go see the baby, okay?" Ginny steered Ron into the room.

Hermione's face was sweaty and red, but she looked happy nonetheless. Ron walked to her beside and kissed her forehead.

"He's perfect," Hermione whispered, looking at the baby adoringly.

"Do you have a name?" asked a nurse, who was hovering in a corner of the room.

"Yes. Cameron Ronald Weasley," answered Hermione proudly.

"Beautiful name," the nurse said, leaving the room.

"Luna, Luna! What's wrong? Why do you look like that?" Harry worriedly asked Luna.

"My water broke...." Luna replied dazedly.

Harry ran out into the hall looking for a staff member. Hermione smiled. "That makes two of us."

Luna felt strangely serene as she was pushed on a rolling bed to another room. New life was beginning. A chapter in her life was beginning. So was someone else's. Luna looked to her side were Harry was running alongside her, holding her hand. Luna smiled. Things would work out in the end. And perhaps, they already had.

"I love you, Harry."
