No Reasons

The dark black and blurred bludger came hurtling down toward Harry, who then saw a glimpse of the small bird like snitch. The bludger dodged off toward Angelina. Fred then hit the bludger with all his might and it went swirling out of sight.

"That was a close one!" thought Harry. "Hey George, could you aim those bludgers any where closer to me!"

"Sorry 'bout that Harry!" yelled George who had twisted around in 360 angels while hitting a bludger. "You know if anything, I think Fred did a spell on these bludgers to make them more aggressive!"

Fred was the new Quidditch captain. Fred was obviously no Oliver but he was of course a great captain. The team still practiced during the early hours of the day but there were no longer any threatening pep talks or boring team plays.

Once again Harry caught site of the golden snitch. Its humming bird wings were almost invisible except that they didn't blend into the Gryffindor tower. The snitch buzzed around one of the windows, its white wings were almost yelling for attention. Harry raced over to the snitch. With his hand out stretched, his heart beating extremely fast, and his fingers posed, he grabbed at the snitch. His hand closed around the smooth outer shell. Harry turned toward his teammates, not noticing the window that he was headed for, but before all this could sink in, Harry crashed. Luckily the window was open. He immediately tumbled off his firebolt and hit the opposing wall. Harry felt his head ache tremendously as he slid, head first onto a pillow. Harry woke minutes later hearing faint voices and finally realizing who they belonged to.

"Harry what are you doing here? What happened? Are you ok?"

Harry opened his eyes to find Parvati, Lavender, Ginny, and Hermione looking at him with worry and confusion.

"Er...Sorry, I guess I wasn't looking," moaned Harry before tumbling off one of the beds. Without any trouble, Harry straightened up and with Ginny and Hermione's help was able to make it into the common room. Ginny and Hermione were both shouting at first years from under Harry's arms.

"It's okay Ginny, I got him." Laughed Hermione, who saw the uncomfortable look on her face. Ginny blushed and rushed to open all the doors that lead to the Hospital wing.

"How did that happen?" Hermione asked. A small smile started to form on her lips.

"You know, I can't really remember! I saw the snitch, I had the snitch, and then I crashed!" It's kind of funny now that I think of it!

Finally they were in the Hospital wing.

"Well I better go Harry; Madam Pomfrey will kill me if she catches me here!"

"Bye, see you at dinner!"

Hermione ran to catch up with Ginny. After looking away he could hear both girls erupt into giggles.

After drinking one of Madam Pomfreys potions, Harry made his way toward the Great Hall. He sat down next to Ron and started piling food onto his plate.

"How on earth did you end up in the Girls dorm?" asked Ron.

"Yeah, how did you pull that off? You know it's what we all dream about!" joked Seamus. Parvati punched Seamus in the arm.

"I was only joking Parv!"

"Ha-ha, I'm laughing my head off! said Parvati in a menacing tone of voice.

"Hey Harry, are you ok? One minute you had the snitch, the next you were gone!" Said Angelina amazed. "Did you actually end up in the Girls Dorm?"

"yeah." murmured Harry who went slightly red.

Hermione entered the Great Hall accompanied by Lavender; both seemed to be whispering, then Lavender broke out giggling. They both sat across from each other at the Gryffindor table.

"Tell me the rest later Hermione!" whispered Lavender from across the table. Harry turned toward Ron only to notice that his face had changed color. Ron's face was redder than he had ever seen it. Harry followed his gaze to Lavender. A smirk crossed his face.

"I see Ron that you have finally noticed that Lavender is also a girl."

"Huh? What? What are you talking about Harry?" Ron went even redder.

"So how are you feeling Harry?" asked Hermione?

"Better, Madam Pomfrey made drink another one of her disgusting potions!"

"You better get used to it Harry, the way Fred has been rambling on about new tactics!" said Katie Bell who happened to have been eavesdropping on their conversation.

Harry stifled a laugh.
