Draco, I really need to talk to you...
Love you,
Justin

Draco read the note again. He replied to him with a "Tonight. At midnight. In the Astronomy Tower," and, only a few minutes before midnight, Draco sat waiting, impatiently I might add, for Justin Finch-Fletchley to show up.

"Draco," a soft voice called. Draco turned to take look at the speaker.

"Justin," Draco replied with a rare genuine smile passing through his lips. He walked over and hugged the quiet Hufflepuff boy. Justin just sort of stood there, letting Draco hold him, keeping his arms at his sides all the while. Draco released Justin and looked up into his pale blue eyes. Justin looked to the ground, as though he didn´t want to be there.

"Draco..." Justin started quietly, "I don´t know if I can go on with this anymore," he said in very little more than a whisper. Draco just looked at him, waiting for him to elaborate. "I mean... I know I can´t."

"What?" Draco asked, bewildered. "What do you mean, `I can´t go on with this?´"

Justin scuttled further into the room, sat on the floor against a wall, and folded his hands in his lap. "I´m sorry," he whispered, still looking to the ground.

"You´re kidding me, right?" he asked indignantly. "You don´t mean what I think you mean, do you?" By now, he wanted to panic.

"Draco, what we are doing is a sin-" Justin started, but Draco cut in.

"So let us go to Hell! Fuck God!" Draco shouted. Justin visibly winced, and Draco´s face fell when he saw.

"Think about it," he reasoned quickly, finally look up at him. "Would you rather have one short, happy fling and suffer from eternal damnation afterwards in Hell, or would you rather be unhappy for a few months, get over it, and have eternal joy in Heaven after that?" he asked, his eyes beginning to water.

Draco didn´t respond. He just stood there, dumbfounded by the seemingly soft-spoken Hufflepuff speaking out to him. He looked into Justin´s eyes and saw that Justin really looked like he did not want to do this. The pain in Justin´s eyes wanted to make Draco himself cry from having witnessed it. A single tear fell down his cheek, and he, for a moment, felt guilty for putting Justin though this.

"Draco," Justin said softly after a long moment of silence. "You know this is killing me. You know that... I don´t want to cut off what we have-"

"Then don´t! I´m damned enough as it is-"

"Draco, please!" Justin nearly shouted, getting up with tears now falling freely down his cheeks. "This is hard enough as it is, please don´t make it worse!" He covered his face with his hands, hastily rubbing away his tears. "I love you now, and I always will. But I just can´t do this anymore. I´m lying to my friends, I´m lying to my family, I´m breaking rules, I´m cheating on my girlfriend, and you´re cheating on yours with me."

Draco just stared. This couldn´t be happening.

"Unless we come out and tell everyone everything," he paused, "then I can´t be with you." He looked into Draco´s eyes, and this time it was his turn to look away.

"I´m sorry, Draco," he said finally, brushing past him. "Just remember... I´ll always love you." And with that, Justin left the room.
