"Godric, don't leave me," she said in his arms.

"Lileth, I must, you don't understand, I have to go to search for a location for the school. I'll be back don't worry."

"Give me your word, I don't know if I can live without you."

"I promise you, that I shall return for you. I cannot say how long I shall be, but I can only hope that time flies like the hippogriff, and that I will soon be reunited with you."

Lileth started to cry, and Godric tried to comfort her. He kissed her, said goodbye, and walked onto the boat, watching her as they sailed into the sunset. He didn't know if this was the right choice, providing a place for young witches and wizards to train. Was it worth it all? He knew he would risk his life, just to find the location of the school. He had set out with three other witches and wizards, Rowena Ravenclaw, a very clever witch, Helga Hufflepuff, very sweet and kind, and Salazar Slytherin, a very shrewd, very smart wizard. He, Godric Gryffindor, was invited to join the throng, unfortunately it would mean leaving his childhood sweetheart for a while. Godric and Lileth planned to be married, but going on his journey put it on hold for a short time, although it would feel like forever.

"Tea, Godric?" Helga asked him.

"Yes please. Do you figure we'll be in Lithingow Forest soon?"

"I should hope so," she said while pouring him a cup of tea.

"Hopefully we don't come across a band of trolls."

"Oh, I strongly dislike trolls. Well, I'm going to give the others some tea."

With that, she left. Godric got up to find Salazar, their navigator. He quickly found him at the bow of the ship.

"How long, Salazar?"

"I'm guessing it to be another day, but that's at the most."

"Well, I'm going to turn in."

He went to his cabin and wrote a letter to Lileth, telling her that his travels were going good. He gave it to Rowena's owl and sent it off. The next day was pretty uneventful, and by that night they had arrived at Buggleberry Shores. After they had walked up the coast, they pitched their tents and, shortly after, went to bed. Godric was teetering on the line of sleep when he heard a scream. He grabbed his sword and his wand and ran outside his tent prepared to fight, but all he found were the three others.

"W-what's the matter," he said.

"That's what we're all trying to figure out," Salazar said coolly.

"It wasn't one of you three?" Godric wondered.

"No," Rowena interjected, "It's the strangest thing."

"I believe that we should take turns being guard," Helga said, "I don't mind going first."

Everyone agreed. After Helga, it would be Godric's turn to guard. The three returned to their tents and fell asleep. After what seemed like a very short time, Helga came to wake Godric up. He arose and set up post in the middle of the four tents. He was just getting comfortable when he saw something moving in the trees. He quickly got up and chased after it.

It was leading him deeper and deeper into the woods, until finally, it stopped. Before Godric knew it, he had a net over him and was being hoisted higher and higher into the trees. He noticed that there were a lot of eyes peering up at him from the forest floor.

"So," said a great booming voice, "I see you have brought us something back, Strense. Well done. Who might you be?" He directed his voice at Godric.

"My name is Godric Gryffindor."

"Hmmm," it said, "Godric Gryffindor, very odd name for a very odd man. Well, my name is King Orthon, and you have stumbled across our civilization."

He could now see that these were not ordinary creatures. They were frog people. Godric was quite surprised when he saw this, and a little terrified.

"Were there any others with him?" he asked his servant Strense.

"Yes, three others."

"Well, we will be able to have a feast. I command that messengers bring back these three, and everyone else begin to celebrate."

Godric knew this wasn't good, and he had to save his friends. All of a sudden, he remembered that he had his sword and his wand.

To be continued....
