Chapter two... Kidnapping again.
Draco hovered over the small wooded area near the Weasley's house. It was a large, multiple storied building that looked as though rooms had been added on whenever they were needed, wherever they were needed. The entire area surrounding the house was practically covered with protection spells and charms. It could take him over two days to unravel them all. Not because they were difficult, of course. There were just so many of them. It seemed the Weasleys were either preparing for the return of Voldemort, or were just plain paranoid. After sitting on his broom for approximately half an hour trying to decide what he should do, he spotted a slight figure walking towards the trees that surrounded the Weasleys...property. He flew closer, stopping just outside the first spell barrier, making sure to stay out of sight. The figure had long, curly red hair. Definitely a Weasley. This made his job significantly easier. All he had to do was somehow get her to come through the barriers. After all, there was no reason why she shouldn't, sooner or later. It wasn't as if she knew he was waiting. So, happy with the way things were turning out, Draco settled down to wait.

Ginny sighed. She'd been looking for almost an hour, and nothing had turned up. She had searched all through the woods up to the protection barriers her father had set up. They weren't that much of a security, but still, she didn't like to cross them. Especially when she was all alone and, if Harry and Dumbledore were right, Voldemort was on the rise. Still, what could happen?
She sighed and stood up, leaning against the tree she had been sitting beneath. Grabbing her sketchbook and pencils, she walked towards the opposite side of the woods, keeping an eye out for Trillium.

Draco knew the instant Virginia Weasley crossed the barriers. He'd been watching her for a while now; she seemed to be looking for something. He couldn't help but notice the way the dappled sunlight fell across her hair, making it shine with golden highlights...
He shook his head violently. What was he thinking? She was as good as dead already and a Weasley to boot. This was not the time to fantasize over a girl. Especially not this girl.
He looked down again. She was still in the forest, so he would wait until she came out into open ground. He didn't want to have to chase He her through the woods, dodging trees and Merlin knows what else. It took about fifteen minutes for her to decide that whatever she was looking for wouldn't be underneath a tree, and she stepped out from beneath the already thinning layer of vegetation and into a meadow. Now was his chance. He pulled out the invisibility cloak he'd been given when he graduated. His father had told him it would be useful in the future and, as usual, he'd been right. When he was sufficiently hidden, he swooped down, pointed his wand and whispered "Stupefy!"

Ginny fell to the ground immediately, her hand still clutching her book and pencils. Someone had stupefied her, and she didn't know whom. This was not good, not good at all. Her eyes moved around frantically in their sockets, searching for her attacker. Finally, she spotted a shimmer in the air out of the corner of her eye. "Ah," she thought. "An invisibility cloak. No wonder I didn't see them." She continued watching as the cloak dropped to the ground. The person who had been under it was just out of sight. A pair of long, pale hands entered her line of sight and began looking through her pockets. "My wand," She thought. "They're looking for my wand. Oh Merlin! Why did I have to go out of the barriers? Stupid, stupid, stupid!" The hands withdrew, and she realized whoever it was had found her wand. Her sketchbook and pencils were pried from her grasp and placed inside a black bag. Then she felt herself rising in the air, and everything went black.

Draco swore. He had to take Weasley where no one would find them, somewhere no one would think to look. Well, the obvious choice was out of the country, but which country should he go to? Not America, they had too much security, and not Africa or China or somewhere they spoke a foreign language, he didn't think they'd be inconspicuous if they couldn't communicate with the locals. It had to be somewhere more...English. Like, Australia. Perfect. A very large island surrounded by water, spoken language English, and a long way away. He would be able to slip past the security somehow, most Witches and Wizards over there lived so far away from anywhere it was impossible to find them anyway. He'd have to take Muggle transport though, which lead him to his next problem. They needed passports, and Weasley was currently lying unconscious in a room at the Leaky Cauldron. As much as he hated to admit it, he needed help.
Frank was a spy. A wizard spy, to be precise. He worked for Voldemort, of course, and gave him all the information he needed to know about where the most important Muggles were going and when. He was also an old acquaintance of Lucius Malfoy. Never the less, Draco could tell he was surprised by his request. Two Muggle passports, one in the name of Drake Malloy and Gwen Wesley, ready before tomorrow. The dead line was no problem, it only took him an hour to make the passports, and another fifteen minutes or so until they became legal, in a way. But what could Draco Malfoy want with Muggle passports? Still, he knew better than to ask, so within an hour and a half Draco was on his way to the Leaky Cauldron with two newly acquired passports in his possession. Frank had used two old school photographs of both Draco and Ginny to go in the passports, and they would have fooled anyone. Tomorrow they left for Australia at nine o'clock in the morning.

When Ginny woke up she was alone in a room. She wasn't petrified any more, but was tied by her hands to a bedpost. She raised her head from the pillows slowly and looked around. Judging from the décor in the room, she was somewhere in the Leaky Cauldron.
"Good evening, Dearie, enjoy your sleep?" Ginny jumped. There was no one in the room but her...and a mirror. "Um, hi. You wouldn't happen to know who bought me in here would you?"
"Well, of course I do! You don't forget a face like that in a hurry, oh no. Not that I actually know whom it was of course, I just know what he looked like." Replied the mirror.
"Right," thought Ginny. "I've been kidnapped by a him. It's a start." Aloud she asked, "You wouldn't be able to describe him, would you?"
"Of course dear. Tall, pale and the most spectacular silver hair I've ever seen. Not that I see, really, considering I don't have eyes or anything. Oh but his har! And his eyes, all grey and stormy..."
Ginny tuned out. Tall, pale, silver hair and grey eyes equaled one thing. Malfoy. She buried her head in to the pillow and started punching it. She'd been kidnapped by the ferret. Oh Joy. Next she'd be looked in a cell, being tormented by Voldemort. Life just couldn't get any worse.
She was wrong.
****************
Draco entered the room to find Ginny ripping a pillow to pieces, and the mirror chattering mindlessly. Something was wrong. He placed the passports on a table and sat down in a chair, waiting for the noise to stop. After about two minutes he gave up. Standing, he told the mirror to shut the hell up, making himself heard over Weasley's attempt at murdering the pillow. Immediately everything went silent. The mirror was once again an inanimate object without the power of speech, and although Weasley was not trying to murder a pillow, he had no doubt that if he released her; he'd end up in the morgue. Putting a hand to his head, he walked back over to the chair and sat down. "Finally," he began. "Peace and quiet. Weasley, we're leaving for Australia at nine in the morning."
**************
Ginny stared. She couldn't believe it; She'd been kidnapped by Malfoy, and was supposedly going to Australia. The key word there being supposedly. As far as she was concerned, she was staying in England, and going home right now.
"Malfoy," she began, "I think you've got the wrong person. I am not going to Australia with you, and I don't know why you would even consider it. Now, you're going to untie me right now and let me go home. And hurry up about it!"
"No" replied Draco. "You're coming with me. Now go to sleep." And without he walked out the door.
Ginny stared, once again. There was no way in hell she was staying here. She didn't have a wand, but she was tied to a wooden post by a rope. Wooden post and rope...wooden post... Wood! Of course! Wood burns! All she had to do was get her wand and set the bed post on fire and she'd be free!
It took Ginny approximately four seconds until she realized the one major flaw in her otherwise perfectly reasonable plan. She didn't have a wand. She cursed, stared at her hands, and resumed ripping the pillow to pieces. It took another four minutes before she realized there was another way of creating fire. It's called heat. And if you rub two things together for a long time, lets say rope and wood, they produce heat, which produces fire, which in this case produces freedom.
Ginny was very busy for quite some time later, and the room slowly started to fill with the odor of smoke.
