Author's Note:
Thanks to the people who got me the song "Lose Yourself". I would also like to thank the people who spend so much time putting up with my music and my dark mind. Kody, I can't help it....I was born a Negative!

Look, if you had one shot, one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted-one moment,
Would you capture it or just let it slip?

The rain was falling again. It always fell the day before something was going to happen. Seven years in this prison had at least taught him that. He screamed, his voice echoing in the stone chamber he was forced to call home. It had been almost three days since had last seen another human. Not that he was complaining, because who wanted to see Severus Snape everyday?

You better lose yourself in the music, the moment!
You own it; you better never let it go!

She saw the rain too, and she shivered. She wasn't supposed to be down here, and if someone caught her...She shuddered again and erased the thought of the consequences. She kept repeating what her father had told her before she left for Hogwarts. This was her moment, and she wasn't gonna let escape. Making sure she still had the wire-cutters and her wand in her back pocket, she continued down the slippery stone steps, the lightning flashing through the empty windows.

The soul's escaping, through this hole that's gaping,
This world is mine for the taking.

He screamed again, but not in pain. This time he screamed in triumph. He could feel her near; she had kept her promise and was coming to let him free. He didn't deserve this, he had been just another student until Snape had captured him, tortured him. Snape had broken both his body and spirit. Snape would pay.

Success is my only option, failure's not.

Feet fail me not 'cuz this maybe the only opportunity that I got!

She clipped the wire around the lock and unlocked the heavy metal lock. She opened the door and rushed to his side. He held her close, remembering every second of his sweet revenge. She couldn't be a part of it; if she got hurt his life was over. But he let her free him, and as he stood unchained for the first time in almost four years, he could feel his power returning to him. He smiled at her, then kissed her so fiercely and passionately that she involuntarily dug her nails into his shoulders. He smiled again as she pulled her hands away, covered in blood. Slowly, he licked his own blood away before kissing her again.

No more games, I'm gonna change what you call rage.
Tear this roof off like 2 dogs caged!

Severus Snape was sure he was alone in his chambers. But he couldn't help but get the feeling that someone was watching him. He turned to his window, watching the rainfall and the lightning flash with an evil smile. Occasionally, the victim's face would lift towards Snape's enchanted window and Snape would glimpse the pain-filled grimace as the student tried to escape the Slytherins slaughtering him.

I was playin in the beginnin, the mood all changed.
I been chewed up and spit out and booed off stage.

Then Snape turned around and felt the steely cold of the knife blade to his pale neck, saw the inhuman anger in his eyes, and knew that he wouldn't live much longer. Snape saw his accomplice and lover standing over his shoulder with her wand in one hand, and a Muggle .375 Magnum gun in the other. Both were pointed at Snape's greasy head.

Stay in one spot, another jam or not,
Has gotten me to the point.

"You twisted me, Severus. I was your puppet, your plaything. But now it's your turn. You told me to pretend I was somewhere else all those times you released your tension on me. And now it's your turn for you to go somewhere else. Make it some place pleasant Severus, because you aren't coming back!" The seventh year slowly dragged the knife across Snape's neck, the blood flowing down his neck with rapid speed.

You better lose yourself in the music, the moment.
You own it, you better never let it go!
You only get one shot, so do not miss your chance to blow;
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime!

"Well...I...never thought...that you...would...rebel." Snape panted, his life escaping quickly from him. "He...was...right. Only...James'...son...would be...able to...escape...me." Snape gasped and his eyes livid as he fell to the ground. The blood was seeping into the expensive carpets Snape had around the room. Smiling, the boy put the knife in Snape's own hand. It was the perfect set-up.

You better lose yourself in the music, the moment.
You own it, you better never let it go!
You only get one shot, so do not miss your chance to blow;
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime!

Smiling, Harry James Potter walked out of Snape's chamber. Hermione Anne Granger watched him go before she slipped the gun into one of her robe's many pockets. She twirled her wand around before following her lover out of the room. No one would suspect that it had been Harry and Hermione who had killed him. Dumbledore was shocked, to say the least, when he discovered what had happened to Harry, and what Snape had ordered the Slytherins to do.

You can do anything you set your mind to, man.

Lose yourself...

Lose yourself...
