Chapter 4- Surika Meets Harry
“Harry, wake up!” Ron prodded, poking Harry in the ribs. Harry opened his eyes slowly and felt something smooth and solid against his face. He sat up and looked out the window. He had fallen asleep waiting for any sign of the girl’s return. He rubbed his eyes and got to his feet.
“What were you doing?” Ron asked. “Oh… I was just looking at the stars…” Harry lied. “Right… Stars with black hair and green eyes.” Ron teased. Harry snorted and shoved him. “Shut up. You don’t know what you’re talking about.” Harry retorted. “Come on, admit it. She’s beautiful, and you can’t get her off your mind.” Ron grinned at his own teasing. “Let’s just go eat. I’m starving!” Harry exclaimed, changing the subject. Ron sighed and nodded. They pulled on their school robes and went down to the Great Hall for breakfast.
“Hey, Harry, look! It’s Cho!” Ron pointed at the short Ravenclaw sixth-year. Harry had a crush on her since his third year. She was a Seeker, like him. He looked at her, trying to decide whether she still had the same effect on him. Suddenly, he imagined her short, black hair growing long, and her blue eyes turning green. She seemed to have shot up a few feet and her feet were now bare… Harry shook his head vigorously and Cho was back to normal, old, Cho.
“This is ridiculous.” Harry muttered to himself. “I haven’t even met this girl. She could have a boyfriend already..” He sighed and sat down to eat breakfast. He ate slowly. His Herbology class didn’t start for another hour. As soon as he finished, he gathered his books and went to class early. He stepped outside and breathed in the warm, crisp, fall air. He looked outward and saw Hagrid walking along the edge of the forest. He waved at him and started toward him, smiling. Hagrid turned to wave back, revealing the person he had been talking to. Harry’s heart fluttered. It was her.
“Good morning’ there, Harry” Hagrid greeted. Harry smiled and returned the greeting. He noticed that the girl was fidgeting nervously, and looked rather frightened to see him there. She was even prettier up close, and in the sunlight. He shot a little smile at her.
“Hey, Hagrid. Who…” Overcome by a sudden burst of shyness, Harry stopped in the middle of his question. As if able to read his mind, Hagrid answered: “Oh, Harry. This is Surika. Surika Par…” Hagrid looked behind him to see that Surika had scooted a good five feet away. “Surika? Surika, come up here. Harry won’ bite ye.” The girl looked even more frightened as she slowly walked forward. Hagrid grabbed her shoulders and pulled her in front of him, so she was practically face-to-face with Harry.
“Surika, this is Harry Potter. Harry, Surika Parker.” Hagrid introduced, keeping his enormous hands on Surika’s shoulders, as if trying to keep her from running away. It looked to Harry, that she would have bolted the first chance she got. He saw Hagrid give her a little nudge, which pretender to hold out her hand. Ever so gently, as if she might break, he took her hand and shook it. He could feel her trembling slightly. She reminded him of a frightened kitten, and he almost swore he could hear her heart thudding wildly inside her chest.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” he said warmly, squeezing her hand gently in the process. He held her hand a little longer than necessary. He liked the feel of her skin. It was so soft and smooth like satin, and, despite her timid ness, very warm and pleasant. Harry smiled pleasantly and bowed his head in respect. To his surprise, she responded positively.
“Charmed, I’m sure.” she replied, and actually smiled. He felt his knees buckle slightly as he released her hand with reluctance. Hagrid’s hands left her shoulders and he began to walk away. Surika’s eyes left Harry’s and turned toward Hagrid.
“Hey, where are you going?” she asked. “I got ter get ready fer me class.” Hagrid replied. Harry took the time when Surika was talking to Hagrid to scan her up close. His eyes traveled from the golden flesh of her face, neck, and arms, to the slenderness of her hardened stomach, only half covered by a tight, bright green sports’ tank top. His gaze swept lower to her perfectly gentle-swollen hips. Her ankle-length black skirt was slit clear up to her thighs, giving her the opportunity to take in the juiciness of her long, exquisitely chiseled, slender legs. He couldn’t help himself. She was all the appeal of a ripe, 20-year-old woman, packed into a teenager. He stared at her face. Her lips, a natural soft pink, were full and luscious, and her bottom lip jutted out slightly, creating a sweet, pouting effect. Her nose was elegantly shaped, with a characteristic upward tilt. However, the most breath-taking feature on her, better than her slender legs, or her juicy hips, better than her full, “kiss me” lips, were her eyes. Her eyes were bright, and the loveliest shade of green imaginable. He could get lost in her eyes. He could die in her eyes.
“Well, I guess I better let you get to class.” she said, breaking him from his deep trance. He swallowed. His mouth was dry. He tried to speak, but his voice had left him, so he nodded instead. She waved, and flashed a little grin. “See you around.” she said, and turned to walk toward the castle. He managed to mutter “Bye.” before he turned and started toward the greenhouses. Well, he had met her, and he already knew that he was in love with her. What he wouldn’t give to hold her in his arms, kiss her sweet lips, feel her breath on his face. He wanted her to want him like he wanted her. He wanted to be the one to start the spark in her eyes, and light the fire in her soul. He wanted her, and he would give anything to get her.
