Chapter Two: Stuck

Sirius: Miranda? You slept with Miranda?

James: Yes, but it wasn't on purpose.

Sirius: Not on purpose!!! You slept with Miranda when her and I were still going out!

James: Yeah, but she saw you...oh! Never mind.

Sirius: Saw me what, James? What?

James: She saw you screwing Hollie Mayflower, okay!

Remus: Lily, is something the matter?

Lily: Well, sort of. Remus I have to break up with Benvolio but I can't figure out how.

Remus: Just tell him that you don't feel the same way anymore and you don't want to be with him, and that there is nothing he can do about it.

Lily: I have, but he's not one to take my emotions into consideration. He just doesn't care.

Remus: Of course, Mr Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain doesn't want to loose his Lily.

Lily: Well, he's about to! Even if I have to hex him.

Miranda: Yes, I slept with James. It meant nothing. I loved you and I was hurt and drunk and I didn't know what else to do.

Sirius: So you slept with James?

Miranda: Yes, but you screwed Hollie the day after we slept together. How desperate are you?

Sirius: I AM NOT DESPERATE!

Miranda: Well, then what are you? Afraid?

Sirius: No! I knew I could never be who you wanted me to be, I could never give you what you wanted...you wanted love and I wasn't sure if I felt that.

Miranda: I just wanted you to be yourself and trust me enough to show me who you really were. Then you went and screwed Hollie, snogged Daffodil Summers in the Astronomy Tower and made out with Jasmine IN MY DORM! You know, we should never have got back together.

Lily: James, you don't. You don't even know me.

James: I do. I want to be around you... a lot.

Lily: I can't be with you...ever! I don't love you! I love someone else and it's not Benvolio.

Jasmine: I want you to be perfectly honest with me, okay. Do you or do you not, have a crush on Narcissa Black?

Lucius: I don't. I love you. I want you to be my wife and I want you to meet my mother when the holidays arrive.

Jasmine: I love you too! I would be honoured to meet you mother and lets just forget I said anything, okay?

Lucius: Okay. I want to tell you something about my mother though...

Narcissa: I can't believe you are still with that girl, Lucius. What is your mother going to think?

Lucius: I haven't told my mother yet, I think I will spring it on her, you know, take her by surprise.

Narcissa: What about your promise to me? Are you going to put you fate behind you and marry this Gryffindor, against everyone's wishes?

Lucius: Yes, I am not going back on this. You wouldn't understand Narcissa, you and I were children when our parents decided we were to marry. They can't still feel the same way?

Narcissa: They do. I have already tried to get myself out of it. I don't think I would want to spend my years with you, Malfoy. But in my family there is a tradition and I don't plan on breaking that for your sake.
