Romance, Slytherin Style - Part II

However Far Away
Chapter Seven

by Sea Isle Witch

After Draco had told her of his cruel reality, they snuggled under the throw, deep in thought, but comforted by their closeness.

"Do you know what we should do?" Pansy whispered a while later, knowing they needed a break from talking and thinking about it.

"Mmmm... I'm thinking we should start by removing your lovely robe," Draco said, touching her throat lightly, causing her to shiver.
I'd like to stay in bed with her all night. Or even this chair could work nicely, and she's already here in my arms. I can make her feel better. She has to be ready now.

"No, my love."

Still no? I've been waiting patiently for a very long time! Draco gave her his hurt look. She never could resist me when I do this.

I wonder if he knows the power that look has over me. "I think there's something else that you would like just as much."

"Nothing like that exists." He shook his head and ran his hand along her arm, noting how soft her skin felt. "So, my pure-blood princess, let me put a smile on your face. I've been thinking..."

"Are you sure there's nothing else?" she interrupted, showing him her sexy, beautiful smile.

I love that smile! "Pansy, there's absolutely nothing else that I will ever like as much as making love to you." His hands glided across the smooth silk of her witch's robe down to her hips.

"Draco..." she paused, teasing him, "let's...go...swimming...like we used to--in the Prefects' bathroom."

"Perfect." He kissed her forehead. "But don't wear a swimsuit this time," he said, continuing his exploration of her body.

"I wasn't planning on it. Disillusion. I'll go out first," she said, pushing herself up.

Draco grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back on top of him. "Don't you think you should put on some more clothes? Now that you're an engaged witch, you need to be more careful about showing your lovely bits and parts." To prove his point, he touched his favourite bits. "Your witch's robes are only for me now. You're my witch," he stated, kissing her bare shoulder and neck.

"Draco, you aren't going to start telling me what to wear!" she said, shrugging off his probing. "Since it's drafty in the corridors, I think I will change into something warmer."

Pansy jumped up and moved to her chest of drawers. She slipped into a casual long-sleeve dress of fine pink wool and attached her Prefect badge. After brushing her hair, which she tucked behind her ears, she stepped into a pair of pink suede shoes. Her pendant remained over her heart, underneath her dress.

Draco watched her every move through the sheer draperies of the canopy. The dress clung to her body, making her look soft and sexy.
She's too pretty to be prancing around the castle like that! he thought as he changed into a black polo neck sweater. Well, at least I'll be with her tonight. She will always be safe as long as I am around.

He slipped on his shoes, and leaned against the bedpost.
Hmmm... I wonder how safe it really is here, Draco thought. With all the protections, guards and Aurors, I was able to get in without a problem. I'll need to talk to her about that later.

She turned her back to Draco and tried to discretely drink another measure of the potion.

"Pansy, what is that potion you've been drinking all day? Did Madam Pomfrey give it to you?"

He saw. Oh, well. "It's a witches' brew. That's all you need to know."

Draco wanted to know more, but didn't press the issue. Things were going well, considering she knew about some of his Death Eater activities.
She still loves me--at least for now.

"Will you call Dobby? He needs to return the books," she reminded Draco, skilfully changing the subject.

"Advoco Elfin Familiaris Dobby!"

The elf appeared with a try of sandwiches, chocolate-covered biscuits and crisps, as well as a pitcher of pumpkin juice.

"You brought a snack, just as a good house-elf would do," Pansy remarked, clearly pleased.

"Yes, Miss Pansy. The food is charmed to stay fresh for you. Dobby will return the books to the library now."

"That would be just the right thing to do, Dobby."

Dobby bowed to Pansy, and then vanished with the books.

Draco drew her into his arms and gently pushed his probing tongue into her warm mouth. Pansy responded passionately, pressing her body against his.

"Let's go," he whispered, wanting to get her undressed as soon as possible. He Disillusioned himself and removed the Sealing Charm from the door. Pansy led the way throught the common room, which was empty at this late hour.

They walked along the mostly empty corridors and stairways, using the secret passageways they had discovered together over the years. Draco was right behind her, enjoying the view. She occasionally swayed her hips, just to tease him a bit. He stayed close to the walls and ducked into darkened alcoves whenever he could. An Auror crossed their path just as they made it up to the fifth floor. She slowed her pace and held her breath. The Auror saw her badge, nodded, and moved on.

As Pansy rounded the corner she collided with someone, who grabbed her to keep her from falling.

"Are you all right? I didn't hurt you, did I?" Kevin Entwhistle asked. He was holding her quite close by her waist. "Oh, Pansy!" Kevin said, sliding his hands down to her hips.

"Kevin!" Pansy was stunned. She could tell Kevin liked feeling her body through her soft dress--right in front of Draco!

Let go of her! Draco thought angrily, from the deep alcove next to Pansy and Kevin. He had to fight the physical urge to violently shove the Ravenclaw away from Pansy. Draco wanted to punch him in the face and then curse him good too.

"Oh...Kevin...yes, I'm okay. Thank you," she said, taking a step backward which caused him to release his hold.

"You look pretty tonight." Kevin let go reluctantly, but he stayed close. He dropped his rucksack and put his hands into his pockets.

That Ravenclaw is too close to her! thought Draco. I can't believe how he's looking at her! He's almost salivating! Damn!

"I'm glad I ran into you. Not exactly how I pictured it, though," Kevin said with a roguish grin. "So, we had a bit of our date last night after all. That was a good idea of yours to leave the party, so we could be alone." He paused to see her reaction. Pansy was rooted to the spot, and he mistook her shock for interest.

Date? He thinks they were on a date last night? She wanted to be alone--with him? Draco was momentarily crestfallen, but he quickly allowed his anger to re-emerge. What the frig is this all about? If he touched her...

"Last night made me realise how much we have in common, Pansy. Not just things like our love of winged horses, but also the expectations of our pure-blood families." Kevin spoke softly, but purposefully.

Draco was infuriated; his grip on his wand was so tight that it threatened to snap.
Damn! He is a pure-blood--with bloody expectations! He wants her for a match! She must know that too! He's so damn obvious! Damn! Damn! Damn!

"We do have a lot in common, Kevin," Pansy said sweetly, then feigned a yawn. "I've not been feeling well, so I studied in my room all day. I was on my way to the Prefects' bathroom for a soak before I go to sleep."

A lot in common? Not anything like what we have in common! Get rid of him, Pansy! He's taking too much of our time, and I'm not sharing you--ever.

"I've just left the library, and I'm on my way up to Ravenclaw tower," Kevin told her. "Millicent told me you weren't feeling well, so I won't keep you. Before you go though, I have some news I'd like to share with you."

Bloody hell! What is it with this bloke? He needs to leave now! Draco was near his breaking point. He was considering which painful spell, besides the Cruciatus Curse, he could use that wouldn't risk exposure to the patrolling Aurors. I've got to remain calm. She will get rid of him. I know her. She loves me.

"Oh?" Pansy managed. "Good news I hope."

Kevin nodded. "I received an owl from Puddlemere United this morning. They offered me a Chaser position for next season; I'm to begin right after N.E.W.T.s."

Sod it all! Puddlemere United? I should be playing Quidditch for them, not this prat! Draco thought resentfully.

"That's lovely, Kevin! I know it's what you wanted," Pansy said, smiling.

She knew that? Draco felt a sting in his heart. Were they on a date last night?

"
You're lovely, Pansy." Kevin looked as though he was going to touch her, but suddenly pulled his hand back. "I won't hold you up any longer." He slung his rucksack over his shoulder. "I'll see you in the morning. Good night." Kevin flashed his dazzling smile and was quickly on his way.

You better not touch her! Don't talk to my witch like that! Draco stealthy followed Kevin. I'm going to hurt you!

"Good bye, Kevin."

Draco stopped and turned his attention back to Pansy when he heard her voice.
She will hate me if I do that. He's not worth it.

"Let's go," Draco whispered coarsely through gritted teeth. He grabbed her arm tightly and steered her down the corridor.

Draco is livid! Oh, Branwen, please help me make him understand!

"Say the password."

"
Evergreen," she said. The door opened to reveal the spacious, white marble main room that held a swimming pool-sized tub. She glanced at Draco, who had just removed the Disillusionment Charm. He was plainly seething.

"Go away!" she hissed to the mermaid in the portrait. The mermaid screwed up her face in protest, but splashed into her painted sea.

"
Colloportus." Draco sealed the door.

Kevin said too much. Now Draco knows Kevin asked me out, and that it was my idea to be alone after the party! I was sure Draco was going to hex him or worse. He has to understand that I didn't know if he was ever going to come back to me. I thought he was going to marry that Bunny! Besides, I didn't do anything wrong! She walked over to the tub and turned on the taps with magic. The tub filled up with warm water quickly, and Pansy added some herbal bubble bath.

Draco sat down on a bench, brooding.
How am I going to leave her with someone like that running into her all the time? He wants her in his uncomplicated life. That's something I can't offer her right now. He glanced at Pansy. She was adding some bubbles that smelled very much like her hair potion. He breathed in the pleasant aroma, trying to calm himself down.

I'm not going to let him ruin our evening. I'll going to show her exactly why she's with me, but that Entwhistle bloke has just made my enemies list, right up there with Potter! I'll deal with him later, he thought. Draco used his Occlumency skills to push the incident aside, so he could focus on more pleasant things.

Trying to soothe the savage beast that was Draco, Pansy walked over and let her dress drop to the floor. "Draco..." she began, touching his face.

"Get out! Now!" he said loudly.

Pansy pulled her hand back, startled. "Draco, don't say that to me! I can't help it if he fancies me. I waited as I promised..."

"Not you," he said softly, standing up and putting his arm around her. "Over there."

Pansy spun around. Moaning Myrtle was floating above the tub with her hands on her hips.

"Is that any way to talk to me, Draco? I was the only one you could talk to last year, remember? We had so much in common! I helped you. You said you'd come back, but now you're here with
her! She's got no clothes on! Is that what you like? Let's use old Myrtle and never see her again! Nobody likes miserable, moaning, moping Myrtle!"

Pansy picked up her wand. "Myrtle, forget what you saw. You need to leave. Now! I know the permanent Banishing Charm for ghosts!" Raising her wand, she began, "
Apparition Expelli..."

Myrtle saw that Pansy meant business, so she vanished into one of the taps. It was another one of Pansy's bogus spells, but Myrtle didn't know that.

"That's my witch!" Draco said, laughing. He sat back down on the bench and turned her to face him. "Now, where were we? I think it was right about here." He put his hands on her hips sliding them upwards. "No bra tonight, my lovely witch?" He caressed her breasts and then kissed them.

Pansy watched his face.
The way he looks at me and touches me, it's so gentle and loving. It makes me feel beautiful, like a goddess. I wonder if he knows how much his touch thrills me.

"Those are pretty pink panties, Pansy," he teased, "but I'm afraid they have to come off."

She giggled.
He's not going to wait much longer. Pansy cast the Contraceptive Charm and placed her wand back on the bench.

Draco touched the pink satin and then slowly slid her knickers down over her thighs. He pulled her into his lap, and she rested her back against his chest.

"Do you like it when I touch you like this?" he whispered, moving his hands all over her milky white skin.

"Very much," she breathed, leaning her head back and searching for his kiss.
He always seems to get me naked, while he's still fully dressed! Well, it is rather sexy...

I love her luscious body. Mmmm... I just can't wait any longer! "Pansy, let's stand up." They did, but then he quickly picked her up and tossed her into the tub!

"Draco!" she squealed amid the herbal scented bubbles.

He stripped and dove into the warm water. "Come here, Pansy!"

She swam away from him. "You'll have to catch me!"

Draco liked the idea of a game. He had enjoyed their last one very much, until they were so rudely interrupted by Snape.

"Pansy, I'm a Seeker. My reflexes are lighting fast. Do you think I can't take you?" He wanted to make sure she remembered that the Ravenclaw wasn't the only Quidditch player around.
A Seeker is a far more important position than Chaser. She knows that, Draco assured himself. I should be playing on a real team, not at the beck and call of...

"You'll just have to find out, won't you?"

Draco was agile, and he quickly worked her into a corner. "Okay, I'll give you one more chance. I'll even close my eyes."

Pansy dove below the thick layer of bubbles, and reappeared where he didn't expect her to be.

"Draco! Over here!" she said, laughing and waving.
It feels so good to be happy! Even if it's just for right now.

"I'll let you tire yourself out, and then you'll be begging me to rub your shoulders."

She dove under the water and appeared with her back to him. "Please?"

"Gladly, Miss Parkinson," Draco whispered, while he tenderly rubbed her shoulders. "You make me forget all the horrible things in my life."

She turned to face him. "I love you, Draco, only you." She put her arms around his neck, and he held her around her waist.

"I love you too, Pansy," he said.
She's so adorably sexy!

Oh, he's staring at me again. That usually means something good is coming. I wonder what it is!

I have to remind her why she's with me. I have to tell her what our life will be like once we sort everything out. Draco opened his mouth to speak, but then stopped himself.

She smiled encouragingly at him.
Tell me what you want to say, my love, don't be coy with me while we stand here nude in this tub!

I don't want to sound like some sort of fool, but I want her to know how it's going to be.

He's hesitating.

"Pansy, after we are married we will live at Malfoy Manor. Would you like that?"

Oh! Pansy smiled. "Yes, but I've never been to Malfoy Manor."

"Well, Malfoy Manor has been in my family since Cwen and Eadald--they were the first to live there. We will have a separate wing all to ourselves, and we can arrange it however you wish. I'm planning on spending a good amount of time making love to you, so we will need our complete privacy."

He's so sexy! And he wants me! Pansy smiled. "Why, Mr Malfoy, you've spent some time thinking about this."

Draco smirked. "Would you like to hear more, Miss Parkinson?"
She likes what she's hearing!

"You know I do."

"Let's see... We can walk through the gardens and picnic by the lake," he paused.
Does she like this? Or is it silly?

"Then what, Draco?" Pansy was eager to hear more.

Yes, she likes this. "I shall have my way with you." He kissed her neck. "Afterward, we can ride. Oh, did I mention the stables?" he teased.

"Tell me, my love." Pansy's eyes were wide with excitement; she was thrilled that he was trying to impress her.

"The stables are large enough to accommodate any horses you'd like us to acquire. Will that satisfy you?"

"You know it will."

"Well, we can ride everyday, if that is what you wish," he paused to kiss her, "although I expect we will do a lot of travelling our first years together too. Don't forget that we will make good use of our bed chamber." Draco kissed her deeply, sliding his hands over her warm, wet skin.

"It sounds perfect," she told him.

"I plan on spoiling you rotten and making love to you every day--several times, if you will let me."

"I will be more than willing," she whispered back, gazing into his eyes.

"The pendant is perfect for you, Pansy. I knew it would be. I've always thought your eyes looked like jewels." Draco touched the emerald pendant. "Did you know that?"

How sweet! Pansy smiled and shook her head. "I had no idea. What else have you always thought, but never told me?"

Draco pulled her close and pressed his body firmly against hers. "Hmmm... I've always liked your...ears." He nibbled on her lobe.

"No, you haven't! You just made that up!" Pansy accused, pulling away in a fit of giggles.

"I promise it's true," he said, trying to pull her back to him. "They're perfectly sized and shaped, and they are especially beautiful when you wear earrings. I love it when you tuck your hair behind them, so I can see your pretty face." Draco slipped her wet hair behind her ears. "Just like this."

I'm melting right here. Pansy kissed him passionately and slid her hands along his sinewy frame. "Okay, it's my turn. Ask me."

"Don't pull away," he said. It was very obvious he enjoyed her attentions and wanted her to continue.

"Ask me." Pansy liked to tease him a bit; she knew she held the power in this part of their romance.

He sighed. "Pansy, what have you always thought, but never told me?"

"Draco, I've thought a lot of things about you," she said, giggling and splashing him.

He tickled her. "Tell me! Tell me!"
She makes me feel like I don't have a care in the world, at least for now.

"Okay, stop tickling." She moved her hands along his arms. "Do you remember in fourth year when you strutted across the common room in front of everyone, and then held out your hand to me while I was talking to Blaise?"

"How could I forget?" he said, laughing. "I was a cocky bugger! I'd been waiting for the perfect moment to ask you to the Yule Ball, before anyone else did. When I saw Blaise cosying up to you, I thought that would be something he'd try, right under my nose too. He's a sneaky one."

"Really? I had no idea he might ask me." She looked up at him in surprise.

"He was one of those wizards that I had to keep away, but this is about me, remember?" he said, giving her a quick kiss on her lips and moving his hands to her breasts.

"Draco, I can't concentrate when you're doing that." She pulled away slightly and pushed his hands down. "So, you interrupted Blaise from asking me to the Yule Ball," she said, pausing to laugh, "and that was the very first time you offered your hand to me."

"I always do that with you, but you're right, it was the first time," he agreed, as he touched her wherever she would let him. "It just seemed like the proper way to get you to leave with me."

"Oh, it definitely was, Draco." Pansy smirked. "Do you remember all the hissing as we left?"

"They were all jealous," he said, laughing.

"You took me to the special alcove in the window and..."

"I wanted to make sure you would say yes, so I gave you a pink rose first. Quite clever of me, wasn't it?"

"I still have it."
Oh, why did I say that?

Draco looked surprised. "You do?"

Pansy glanced down and nodded. She was letting him know how long she had truly cared for him, and it was a bit frightening.

He titled her chin back up, searching her face.
Why does she seem embarrassed? "Will you show it to me someday?"

Pansy smiled and nodded.
He doesn't think I'm silly. "So, after you asked me to the ball, you kissed me and held out your hand again."

Where is she going with this? "It took me forever to work up the courage to ask you and then to kiss you for the first time." I can't believe I told her that!

"I remember," she said, flashing her beautiful smile. "That was my very first kiss. I'm so glad I shared it with you. It was just like this..." She had to kiss him.

She makes me so happy.

"Draco, right after that, when you held out your hand and I touched it... I felt something...like butterflies fluttering inside my stomach."

He moved his hands to the smooth skin of her belly, but he was listening carefully.

"I felt excited but calm, chilled but warm, and scared but incredibly happy, all at the same time. Every time you offer your hand to me, I always feel exactly the same way. It's just what you do to me, Draco," she said, looking into his soft grey eyes. "You make me feel amazingly powerful when we're together, yet I'm completely vulnerable to you." Pansy had never expected to tell him something so intimate.

"That's beautiful, Pansy," he said, taking her hands and kissing them. "There's no need to feel vulnerable with me; you can always trust me because I love you."

She sighed happily.
I love him so much!

"You know, I've always thought our hands fit together perfectly," he said, pressing his hand against hers. "Your hand is so soft and pretty, and mine is completely different, strong and warm. I feel proud when I'm holding your hand; people always watch us when we're together."

"We make a striking couple, Draco."

"It's much more than that, Pansy. So much more."

"Can you tell how much I love you?" she asked him.

He nodded, staring into her beautiful eyes. "I feel so close to you. I feel like you're a part of me."
She knows all about me, and she loves me just the same.

She pulled him down into the water, wrapping her arms and legs around him.
We have to figure a way out of this chaos. We need each other. We must be together--no matter what we have to do.

He closed his eyes and held onto her tightly.
I'm dreaming. I have to be dreaming. No, she's still here. How can I leave her? She's everything to me. Anything is possible when we're together.
