Chapter One
Maranwë slowly sat down in a compartment on the Hogwarts Express. It was already her fifth year there. She thought back on all the years before with a grin on her face.
Many things had happened over this summer, some wonderful and others saddening. Maranwë's abilities had increased slowly but surely. She was proudly showing this by her newest silver mark. She had always been pretty but now she was just ravishingly beautiful.
Her first marks, back in her third year, were small visible dots on each of the bottom corners of her eyes. The very same dots, but only on the top corners of her eyes arrived during her fourth year. Her newest one that she had received in the summer was a slightly thick, and yet fairly small curved line, neatly at the arch of her eyebrow on her left eye. They never bothered her, ever. She thought they looked great on her. They would look ghastly on anyone else. Maranwë's skin was fair and smooth. Her eyes were a shade of blue that looked bright and dark at the same time. Maranwë had dark brown shoulder length hair that she pinned up in a bun every single day. She was beautiful. Of course, most Seyeilians were though.
Seyeilianism skipped generations in Maranwë's family. She got it from her grandmother and one day she to would pass it on. It was going to stay in her family forever. Seyeilians had some small features like the woodland elves. Maranwë, for example, had slightly pointed ears, the pale glowing skin and the blue eyes. Seyeilians were looked up to and feared for they could become some of the most powerful creatures on the earth. The silver marks appeared on their bodies when their abilities grew more. They could perform wand less magic on some occasions by simply using their hands. They knew some charms and spells by instinct.
Maranwë spaced out a lot this summer. When she was startled or snapped back to reality things often broke. Her grandmother told her the same had happened with her and soon it would pass. This summer was great; she hung out with Pansy and Draco at each other's manors. She hadn't seen her two best friends for a week now and she was practically dying.
Maranwë decided she'd better put her robes on. She slowly pulled out her Slytherin robes from her bag just as Draco stepped into her compartment. Draco just stood there as she searched for her green and silver tie. She saw it under her seat and with a wave of her hand it was placed neatly on top of her folded robes.
"Oh, Hello Draco!" She was so excited to see him but he just stood there, staring at her in her manor clothes. After a few seconds he finally snapped out of it.
"Oh, I erm, just came to tell you we've almost arrived."
"Thanks, I was just about to get ready."
"You look very nice today Mar, it's good to see you again."
Maranwë smiled as she thought back. She and Draco were always the best of friends but lately there had been a little hint of something more. She didn't know what to think of it. She could tell this year would be interesting.
Author notes: I made up Seyelianism and Maranwë, no one ever knows about any of the other Slytherin bunch so I thought I'd give it a twist and tell ya her story.
