They had opened the doors to the cell and he walked in. Draco had stood up and was staring at him. He looked back at Draco coldly, but did not move for a moment. But then he raised his arm and Draco was on the floor, holding his face.

"Weak," Tom had said from the sidelines. He nodded.

"Stand," Lucius had demanded and Draco rose slowly to face his father. Lucius did not hesitate for a moment as he plunged his fist into Draco's stomach. Draco let out a sharp moan, and as he bent over double with his hands clenching his stomach, his father's knee rose and met his face. Draco crumpled to the floor.

"Ahhh," Draco moaned in pain. His nose had begun to bleed and it seeped down his face. Tears escaped his eyes and Lucius laughed maliciously.

"Stand up," Lucius ordered again and Draco slowly sat up off the floor. He was on all floors and slowly brought his knees up and set his feet firmly on the floor. He stood up full level to his father again and the blood seeped down his neck to his robes as it continued to flow from his nose. "Why?!" Lucius suddenly yelled and his hair fell out of place. "Why did you betray this family? Why do you betray the man who has given us everything?" He pointed to Tom. "Why do this to him?"

"Because...," Draco said slowly. "I'd rather die an honorable death than being murdered by Aurors."

Lucius raised his hand but did not strike.

"Well there shall be no honorable death for you," Lucius said and he brought his hand back across Draco's face. His cheek smashed into his teeth and blood flowed from his mouth. He did not flinch or move. He did not fall or cry.

"You are an embarrassment to this family and to the establishment. You are an embarrassment. After all I gave you, after raising you from a boy, you repay me with this? I promised Voldemort that he would have you as a loyal Death Eater. And if you shall not renounce your strange new ways, then you shall suffer. But say the words and I can ease this pain."

Draco stood for a moment and stared off behind his father's head. "No," he said finally and his father pulled back his arm and punched Draco again in the stomach. Draco could not stand still any longer, he could not ignore the pain, and he fell to the floor again. He pulled his body into the fetal position for a moment and then released his muscles. He lay on his side, staring at his father's shoe. And the shoe lifted itself and pulled backwards. It hit him square in the stomach and Draco coughed up a mouthful of blood and saliva.

"How do you like it?" Lucius asked as he bent down near Draco's face. Draco tried to speak, but the air would not go back into his lungs and he shook his head instead.

"Stop," Draco managed to cough out. "Stop."

"Stop?" Lucius yelled. "Do you renounce your old ways?"

Draco shook his head again.

"Then there shall be no stop to this pain," Lucius said and he drew his foot back again. The sharp tip of his Gucci shoe hit Draco on the thighs and he immediately felt the throbbing pain of blood escaping.

"Lucius," Tom said from outside the cell door. "Stop it. If you kill him now, we cannot use him later. But we could cause more pain without injuring him severely. Bring him out."

Draco let out a small sound of pure pain as his father leant down and grabbed his wrist. He was pulled up from the ground and his arm was wrapped around his father's shoulders. Lucius walked him out of the cell and walked down the hallway past the occupied cells. The three men were staring at Draco with wide eyes. Nott shook his head and Avery merely looked down at himself. Parkinson mouthed the word "no."

They walked several paces down the hallway until they reached a large metal door. Tom whispered a spell and the door opened. He walked in and Lucius followed with Draco. Draco closed his eyes in pain as he was laid down on a hard surface. They arranged him with his arms at his side and his legs pulled straight.

Shadows told him that they were moving around him and his eyes hurt from a bright light shining overhead. Suddenly, his limbs were restrained with thick leather and he knew exactly where he was. He screamed and a hand came down quickly over his mouth.

"Quiet," Tom said. Draco opened his eyes as the hand was removed. His father stood in a corner of the room with his arms folded comfortably, his eyes glued to the form of a struggling Draco.

Draco shut his eyes tight and felt a needle inserted into his arm. He clenched his teeth as it was pushed in farther and farther.

"Stop," Draco said between clenched teeth.

"Renounce your ways," Lucius said from the corner and Draco shook his head. The needle stopped moving and Draco opened his eyes. Tom was holding a vial of electric blue liquid. He attached it to the end of the surgical needle and watched with interested eyes as the liquid drained into Draco's arm.

Draco let out a moan. His veins were on fire. He gritted his teeth together and his jaws almost hurt as he writhed against the restraints holding him. He arched his back and let out a small noise and Lucius stepped forward.

"The pain will subside as the effects set in," Lucius said.

"I know," Draco said through his teeth. He had seen his father torture many men with this. The pain started to fade away as his feet started to tingle. It rose up his entire body and faded soon after. It was replaced with sharp pinpricks over every inch of skin on Draco's entire body. He kept his teeth clenched, yet yelled through them.

"ARGGGH!" he yelled and the pain slowly ended. He knew what was next and he pulled at the leather holding him until he was sure he had deep marks left over. "STOP IT!" he yelled as his bones were filled with electricity. He writhed and turned his head and pulled at his legs until he was almost spent.

"Enough," Lucius said quietly and Tom pulled the half-full vial off the end of the surgical needle. Draco's pain almost immediately disappeared and he sighed in relief. "Now the pink," Lucius suddenly said and Draco looked up as Tom walked to the opposite side of the small room and came back with another small vial, this time filled with a light pink liquid. Draco shook his head at it. He shook his head at his father and looked anxiously at Lucius's reaction. Lucius ignored his son's gaze and nodded at Tom. Tom pushed the vial onto the end of the needle. Lucius smirked at Draco.

Draco shook his head and his stomach and face and head ached from his father's brutal attack. Sleep began to overtake him.

"No," Draco said quietly as he shook his head to stay awake. He moved his fingers around his father laughed.

"Just accept sleep, Draco. There's no use."

Draco shook his head as if he didn't want to accept it, although he knew that there really was no use. He moved his fingers around again and tried to move his legs, but he was exhausted and could not fight the bonds. He closed his eyes slowly.

"Now release the bonds and..."

Their voices melted into oblivion as sleep finally claimed him.

Narcissa led Ginny from the room to the Great Room, where everything had been cleaned up and there were new chairs all around.

"What's going on tonight, Narcissa?"

"There is to be a ceremony. Tom will take another most powerful wizard's strength into himself, so that when he decides to take power, he will be strong enough. Lucius believed that it would be Mr. Potter because of his defeat of Lord Voldemort. But Tom consulted the centaurs and they claimed that the energy cannot be that of the ultimate good, which is where Harry gets his strength.

"After they determined that Harry was not their target, Tom and Lucius searched for many Seers. But none seemed to know they answer, until they came across a mysterious man at a pub. He claimed he knew who the ultimate power was. And they got a private room and talked for hours about the matter. And then the Seer told them it was my son. And so it shall be. I don't wish for it, but I must agree or I am in danger. But I know Dumbledore shall send someone. They know that Tom brought you here.

"Draco cannot be fully forced against his will into it though. Tom intends to use you and Harry as leverage over him so that he gives in. Who knows? Maybe Tom might kill Harry to persuade Draco. I have no idea. Go to Draco while Tom will still let you."

Ginny nodded and hated Tom even more.

When he woke up, he was face down on a hard surface. His body ached wildly and his heard hurt immensely. He heard hushed voices around himself, yet he did not open his eyes.

"...wake up before more is done..."

"...what a shame..."

"...she's coming..."

A small hand suddenly touched his back and he flinched at the contact.

"Hush," she said and Draco's eyes flung open. "Draco," she sang softly. "Draco."

He twisted around as far as the restraints would permit him and tried to get a glance at her face. All he saw was a few strands of fiery red hair.

"Untie me," he asked quickly and her red hair trailed over his back as she laid her body over his. "Untie me," he said again and her fingers began to fumble with a leather strap. "Yes. Untie me."

His first arm was released and all he could was lie there in exhaustion. She turned slightly on his back and he sputtered in breath as she hit a broken rib.

"I'm sorry," she whispered and she kissed his ear as his opposite arm was released.

His ankles were quickly untied and he slowly turned over. She slid off of him as he turned and she flopped next to him on the hard wooden cell bench.

"Ginny," he said softly and she nodded her head.

"Draco," she responded with urgency in her voice. "We need to talk."

He looked over at her and slowly sat himself up. He guessed his entire face must have been covered in bruises, and when Ginny gasped, he knew it was. He guessed he had multiple broken ribs, and when he moved, he knew he had them. He guessed his nose was swollen, and when he tried to breathe in air, he knew it had been broken.

"What have they done to you?" Ginny asked as if she had no idea. Draco turned away from her in shame and pain. "Draco, look at me. Answer me this. What would they have done when you were unconscious, had I not decided to come down here and stop them?"

"I don't know," he mumbled and she turned away from him in turn. "My father has done so many things with all his different potions and tortures that I fear if you had not come, I might be dead right now."

"No," Ginny said. "They would not have killed you. They need you."

Draco looked at her in surprise, but she was staring off, as if lost in her own world. He touched her arm and she looked back at him quickly.

"They need you...," she repeated.

"How do you know Ginny? How do you know? What did they tell you? Who told you all this? Why do they need me?"

"Narcissa," she mumbled and Draco coughed loudly.

"What did you say?" Draco asked harshly as if daring her to repeat the impossible.

"Narcissa," she said firmly without a doubt in her mind.

Draco looked away from her again and brought his hand to his head. It ached. His entire body swelled with pain. There was too much happening. Narcissa, as in, my mother? It isn't possible. But she says it is. I don't know.

"How?"

"Tom controls the Dementors. They took her body from Mungo's and brought her back."

All of the air in Draco's lungs seemed to rush out of him as he suffocated. He couldn't breathe, he couldn't move, he couldn't think.

"Draco," Ginny said softly.

"Just lie with me for a while," Draco said in return. She wrapped her arms around his fragile body and nuzzled her face into her neck. He breathed in the scent of her hair and soon fell into a comfortable sleep.

***

"...Draco..."

It was a soft voice, almost a song. It was not angry or loud.

"...Draco...Draco...Draco..."

A fist suddenly slammed down onto the bench next to his head and he jerked awake. His ears were ringing and his entire body ached when he moved. There was still dried blood on his shirt where it had slowly slipped down. His vision didn't seem to be working; everything was blurry.

As things started clearing up, he saw a man in front of him. Blonde hair. Lucius.

"Good evening," Lucius said drawlingly. "Ms. Weasley has left your cell for the time being and Master Tom requests your presence in the Great Room."

Draco slowly stood up, yet Lucius plunged his fist deep into Draco's stomach.

"What was that for?" Draco asked as he bent over in pain. He coughed and his entire body felt broken as blood flew onto the ground.

"I did not ask you to rise yet," Lucius said coldly. "You will do nothing until I say so. Get used to it. There are still a few days until the full moon and you must be here until then."

"And then what?"

Lucius did not answer him. Instead, he opened his cloak and pulled out a small parcel. He tossed it directly at Draco and turned to leave.

"Clean yourself up," Lucius said as Draco opened the parcel and pulled a fresh t-shirt and a wash cloth out of the paper. Lucius opened the cell door and slid in a small bucket with his foot. Draco peered over the top and spotted a great quantity of rusty water.

"I will be back for you in a few minutes."

Draco reached to pull his shirt over his head as Lucius left. He grimaced in pain; his ribs hurt. He grit his teeth quickly and pulled the bloodstained shirt over his head as delicately as he could. He clutched at his side as he leaned over to the water bucket and dunked the cloth into it. He pulled the cloth from the bucket and allowed the freezing water to clean off the stale blood from his neck and chest. He dipped the cloth back into the frozen bucket and wiped his face clean of blood.

He wiped his hands and upper back and pulled the fresh shirt over his sore body. He leaned back against the cell wall and moaned as his head hit it.

"Come," Lucius said suddenly in a cold voice and Draco's stomach jumped a little with surprise. Draco slowly rose and walked out of the cell door with Lucius behind him. "If you attempt to escape or attempt to do anything other than what we say, you will be immediately Stunned and brought back here for punishment. Got it?"

Draco slowly nodded his head and mumbled something inaudible.

"What?" Lucius asked coldly.

"Can I...can I see mother?"

"Perhaps."

Maybe his father was not entirely cold. Maybe there was a small portion in that abyss that stayed warm and good. Draco tried to remember a time when his father was not murderous. He had grown up mainly with only his mother; his father was always on a job for Voldemort. But when his father had come home, he had rarely shown kindness.

A memory suddenly flashed through Draco's mind at an inhuman speed and he struggled to hold onto it. It was gone as fast as it came.

Draco walked up the stairs slowly.

***

"Les omdres font mon ordre."

Ginny commanded the shadows and they slowly advanced on Harry.

"Bring him to me," she commanded quietly, and she silently prayed it would work. Harry was suddenly in their grasp with a look of terror on his face and then he was outside the library.

"Harry," Ginny said slowly as the shadows retreated and she flung her arms around him. "Are you okay?"

"Yah, I'm fine," he said with a weird look at her.

Suddenly, the main stairs opened up once more and Draco emerged from the shadows.

"Draco!" Ginny yelled, and she started to run towards him. But she stopped dead as Lucius appeared behind him.

"He is to be brought to Tom. What is Potter doing out of the library?"

"I brought him out."

"How?"

"Shadows," she said simply.

Lucius reached out a hand to the railing and pushed the button to close the stairs. He roughly took Draco by the arm and Draco whinced at his touch. He was hurt bad. Lucius marched him across the Great Room to a side room where a beautiful antique wooden door stood. He knocked twice and the door opened. He shoved Draco forward and Draco looked back at Ginny.

There was fear in his eyes.

***

"Come, come," Tom said to Draco as he walked slowly through the door with his hands on his ribs. "Take a seat."

Draco looked around the room hopelessly and spotted the only open chair. It was an old chair with large cushions and wooden arm rests. He sat down on it slowly.

"I need your strength," Tom said slowly, as if trying to measure his every word. "Ginny has probably told you this already. And if you do not cooperate with the plans, Harry Potter will be no more. Hell, I need your power so much that Ginny may suffer just a little for your recalcitrance. Now..."

Draco stared at him as he gathered his thoughts.

"We will clean you up. And we will move you to a room in the house. A guarded room. If you once try to take advantage of this, you will be brought back to the dungeon and punished. I will get the house maid to supply you with almost anything you may need. And when the time comes of the full moon, you will obey everything we command or Potter gets hurt. Got it?"

Draco nodded his head. There was no use in fighting.

***

Tom immerged from the room with Draco at his side.

"Get him a room," he said to no one in particular and Narcissa emerged. Draco held his breath in anticipation as she took his hand and led him up the stairs.

"Ginny," Tom suddenly said, and she ripped her eyes away from Draco's obvious moment of joy. "This baby. I want it." He set his hands over her slightly swollen belly. "Can we have it soon?"

"In eight months maybe," Ginny said slowly, questioning him silently as to what he meant.

"There is magic," he responded, "that can speed everything up in hours so that you can have it tomorrow if you wish. But I can't wait for eight months. Let us have it tonight."

Ginny's eyes widened in fear. Have a baby? Tonight? No way in hell. It would hurt; she needed time to prepare herself. But she looked at Tom. She knew that even if she said no to his request that he would probably continue with his plan anyway.

"There is another spell," he said and her eyes snapped to him, "that would completely knock you out throughout the birth. I do believe that Narci-"

"We can do it," Ginny agreed and Tom's face lit up.

"Alright. Once Draco has his room settled and it is guarded, Narcissa can prepare a seperate room upstairs. And while she's at it, I think we best send Potter to stay in Draco's guarded room.

"Narcissa! Potter is to be taken to Draco's room also." He yelled it up the stairs and she suddenly appeared at the top. Harry walked towards the stairs and started up them with a quick nod from Ginny. When he reached the top of the stairs, she lightly set her hand on the square of his back and guided him down a hallway where Ginny assumed Draco had been stationed. "Do come back when your finished!" he yelled up to her again.

Tom took Ginny's hand.

"Tonight. And what shall we name our child?"

Ginny hadn't even thought of it. She stayed silent and Tom immediately knew what was going through her mind.

"Alright, well then we can discuss it as we make our way to the room. How about Pansy?" Ginny frowned. "How about...Kelly?" Ginny frowned again as they started up the stairs slowly. "Rowan?" It was okay. "Charlotte?" That one wasn't too bad.

"I think I like Charlotte," she told him.

"Charlotte. Good."

Ginny smiled to herself as they continued up the stairs to the second floor.

***

Their room was cold. There was a large bed with thick white sheets on it and a large blood red bedspread. There were many chairs surrounding various peices of furniture and there was a small armoire sitting in a corner. There was a small attached bathroom.

"We're both going to die here," Draco said and Harry nodded sullenly. "Ginny may die."

"She's pregnant you know," Harry suddenly said and Draco's attention immediately shot to Harry. "Tom."

Draco was crushed. Pregnant. Even if they ever left this place alive, Hogwarts had never been faced with this sort of thing. The biggest thing Hogwarts had ever dealt with was The Astronomy Tower parties. And with Parvati being bi.

Harry could see the pain in Draco's eyes. He looked away from Draco courteously as Draco bowed his head in anguish.

"We have to get out of here," Draco said quietly.

"Well of course we do," Harry said. "I need to get back so I can shag Hermione."

"Too much info mate," Draco said.

***

There was a large bed. White sheets, white bedspread, white pillows. Satin.

Narcissa was waiting quietly in a chair when they got their. She immediately rose as they entered and Tom led Ginny to the bed.

"Is everything prepared then?" Tom asked Narcissa and she nodded. "Very well. Ginny, you may lie down."

Ginny slipped herself onto the bed and relaxed into the fluffy bedspread.

"Adduco," Tom said quietly with his hands hovering over her belly, "infantia proficio aetas."

Ginny's eyes widened as her stomach stretched to accomadate the growing infant. Her belly swelled to full pregnancy.

"Wow," Ginny said quietly and Tom nodded his head.

"Obdormio a doleominuo," Tom said again and everything melted into darkness for Ginny.
