Ginny was crying on the bed when Tom returned. She was writhing in her restraints. Her face was screwed up with anger and possibly pain, Tom did not know, but he went to her.

"Tom, let me go," Ginny said loudly as a few sobs came forth. "Please, let me go back to them. To Draco. Please..."

"I'm sorry, Ginny, but no," he said as he sat down next to her and brushed his fingers through her hair. She pulled away from him, but he strung his fingers in her hair and her head wouldn't move. "You carry a child in your womb and you are mine. If you die, I die. If I die, you die. We are too connected to survive while the other dies."

Ginny reached her bound hands up toward her head where he was petting her hair and she took his hands in hers.

"Please," she said quietly as she rubbed his hands. "At least release me from these restraints. I don't want to spend my life all locked up."

"But you will run from me," Tom said. "I know you will leave me again to go back to your precious Potter and Malfoy. You will go to them."

"No, I won't," she said quickly. "I promise that if you release me that I will stay by your side. I will not run from you this time. I will stay with you."

"We are leaving," Tom said quickly and he snapped his fingers. She was released and she rubbed her wrists. It hurt her, he knew it did. But she would leave him.

"Where are we going?" she asked as she stood up slowly. There was a soreness between her legs, Tom knew there was. Her back and legs ached from her muscles tightening. And her neck hurt from when Tom had pushed it into the bed to stop her from screaming. He knew she hated him.

"Malfoy Manor," Tom said officially. "I know for a fact that only one man inhabits it now.

"And that man was my best friend."

Three days passed quickly for Draco and Harry in the Infirmary. No one was allowed to visit them other than Hermione and she had to submit to a Veritas Charm every time she visited.

Then came the night when Draco was to take his first potion. Madame Pomfrey woke him at midnight as Dumbledore had said and forced the disgusting potion down his throat.

All Harry could do was sit back and watch in interest. Draco would gag once in a while and he would turn from drinking the potion to water, to potion, to water.

Ginny watched in fear as Tom quickly tossed most of his belongings into a large trunk. He then whispered a spell quietly and everything neatly rearranged itself to make room for more. Tom put a few more books in and slammed the top of the trunk with his foot. The buckles did themselves as Tom came towards Ginny quickly. He reached his hand up to her hair and jerked her head around.

"What is the password to Gryffindor Tower?" he asked as she stared at him with wide eyes.

"Gillyweed," she whispered and he harshly let her hair go. He turned to leave but then faced her as he was about to go. He stared at her for a few moments and then walked towards her again. Tom took her wrists in each of his hands and manipulated them to an awkward position. He then pushed her towards the bed. She pushed back. She did not want to be bound to the bed again. He twisted one of her wrists and she cringed in pain and fell onto the bed.Tom pulled her wrists to the top of the bed and a single tear rolled down her face as he summoned ropes to her wrists. She was held tight to the bed posts by her wrists and Tom moved down her body. He summoned ropes again and her ankles were bound to the opposite bedposts.

"Stay here," he said quietly as he turned his back on her. "I am getting your things."

As soon as he left, she thrashed around on the bed. He had tied the ropes particularly tight.

"Let me go. Let me go," she started to say over and over. "Let me go. Let me go..." Her voice melted into screams. "LET ME GO! LET ME GO!" And she screamed it and screamed it. Her yelling melted into a solid scream and she stopped abruptly.

"Let me go," she said one more time and she turned her head to the side. Tears slid out of her eyes and her face became a crumpled mask of anger and hate. She sobbed and pulled at her legs. She opened her eyes and everything was blurry. Her eyes were filled with water. She blinked. Lying on a small table she had never noticed directly next to the bed, was a tiny black book. There was a tiny green snake on it curling through and round a skull. The Dark Mark. She looked up at the twin of it curling on her arm and looked back to the book. There was something different. The snake on her arm went in through the skulls mouth, came out an empty eye socket and curled around the skull once. It had a tiny tongue hissing out and two small fangs were clearly visible.

She looked back at the book. The snake went in through the mouth, came out the empty eye socket and curled around the skull. Twice. It curled around the skull twice and it was holding something in its tail. A small feather, it looked like. Yes, a feather. The feather was scarlet and rimmed in gold. Gryffindor colors. Most peculiar. The tongue of the snake hissed out of the mouth, but no fangs were visible.

Ginny pushed against the bed with her feet and scooted a fraction of an inch closer to the book. It lay 8 inches from her bound wrists. She pushed against the bed with her toes again and moved another fraction of an inch closer. Inscribed in faded gold lettering was: "Econtra egeo invicim supersto." Opposites need eachother to survive.

Slytherin and Gryffindor. Opposites. Need eachother. Like Draco and Harry.

Ginny inched closer and closer the book. Reach it, she told herself. Reach it. Just reach it. She pulled on her arms. Her wrists felt as if they were being pulled off of her body. Reach it.

The door flung open and Tom walked in with a trunk with the initials G.W. on it. Ginny quickly moved back to her spot.

"Ginny," Tom said slowly. "Ginny, I got your things. They didn't even suspect that the enemy was walking directly into their fort. But no one was there. It is dinner."

Ginny's stomach rumbled. She hadn't eaten in days since she'd been with Tom. She looked up at him. He dropped her trunk next to his and walked over to the bed. He sat slowly beside her and reached his hand to her neck. He started to softly smooth his hand over her throat and she closed her eyes. He would take her again. But he removed his hand and snapped his fingers. The bounds quickly went limp around Ginny's wrists and ankles and she sat up slowly.

"Now Ginny," Tom said, "it is time to go to the Manor. But there is only one way to get there. And you shall not know it."

"Why?" she asked quickly as she brought her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around herself.

Tom put his hand into his robe pocket. He pulled out a small vial. There was a green liquid inside.

"What is it?" Ginny asked quickly as she eyed the vial. He reached his other hand into the opposite pocket and pulled out a syringe and needle.

"Muggle tranquilizers," Tom said plainly as he inserted the needle into the vial and pulled liquid into the syringe. Ginny jumped off the bed away from him.

"Tom, why? Why can't I just be your queen? Why can't you just let me know things? Why Tom?!"

"You may be my queen," Tom said as he stood up off the bed, "but the kings have the real power. Now come here." Ginny shot away from the bed and towards the door. She ripped at the nob, but it was locked. "ALOHAMORA!" she screamed, but she was powerless without a wand. Tom laid his hand on her shoulder and she turned around sharply. Tom was holding the syringe in one hand and her upper arm in his other hand. She sunk to the floor. "No," she said quietly as Tom sank down next to her. He set down the syringe and lifted her sleeve with his open hand. She pulled away from him, but she was pinned between him and the brick wall. "Tom, no," she said as she pushed his hands away from her. He pushed her hands down to her side and picked up the syringe quickly.

The needle stung Ginny as Tom pushed it into her arm. He pushed the liquid into her and pulled the needle out slowly. Things started spinning as he rubbed the tiny pinprick with his thumb.

"Sleep Ginny," Tom whispered as Ginny slowly slumped into his lap. Her eyes were still open and she could see his face, and his face only.

"Tom," Ginny whispered as her eyes opened and closed slowly.

"Yes Ginny," he answered.

"Harry will come."

She was asleep.

Harry and Draco were sitting in the Infirmary playing a game of exploding snap when Dumbledore walked through the doors to Madame Pomfrey's office. Harry and Draco had given up on worrying. If Ginny had gone, they would know it. Dumbledore walked into Madame Pomfrey's office and Draco turned around to peer through a window. Dumbledore whispered something in her ear and her eyes widened as she pulled away from him and looked into his eyes.

"Really?" she asked loudly and Dumbledore nodded his head. She left her office quickly and headed for the door of the Infirmary. Once she left, Dumbledore came out of her office and approached Harry and Draco.

"Boys," Dumbledore said with a slight nod to each of them. They both immediately looked up. "Ginny Weasley was seen moments ago in the arms of 'a mysterious dark haired man.' She appeared sleeping and we have strong evidence that Tom is taking her to Malfoy Manor."

"What kind of evidence?" Draco asked at the mention of his home.

"It is not your concern what the evidence may be, but that we have a lead on returning her safely to the Burrow," Dumbledore said slowly.

"To the Burrow?" Harry asked loudly as he pushed the table of cards away from himself. "Isn't she coming back to Hogwarts?"

"Minerva and I have consulted with the Weasley parents and it is decided that Ginny will return home for the remainder of the school year and then return next year for her seventh year."

Draco pushed the table away from himself also and stood up slowly. The potion was taking it's effect on Draco in the worst ways and he was constantly sleeping and weak. There were nine days of the potion remaining. Dumbledore had said that blindness and inability to eat would set in on the second to last day. As for Harry, his wounds were mostly healed except for the deepest one next to his belly button. He still had to put a bandage over it so that he wouldn't bleed out.

"And we just have to stay here and wait," Draco whispered quietly with a quick glance to Harry. Harry nodded his head a fraction of an inch up and a fraction of an inch down. They both were thinking the same thing.

It was time for an adventure. They would rescue Ginny.
