I am the eye in the sky

Looking at you

I can read your mind

I am the maker of rules

Dealing with fools

I can cheat you blind

And I don't need to see any more

To know that I can read your mind

I can read your mind

Sirius was looking down from heaven to his godson. He could read his mind, now that he was gone. He was reunited with his friends. Lily, and especially James.

Sirius hoped that when Harry looked about and saw the star Sirius, that he would think of his beloved Godfather. Because that was Sirius favourite spot in heaven, near the star he was named after, the star that also had given him his animagus form.

He saw that Harry was struggling with the death of his Godfather. It was very hard on him. Sirius could only imagine. Losing your parents at age one, and when you finally found your godfather, losing him within two years. He only hoped that Remus was taking good care of Lily and James' little boy.

Don't leave false illusions behind

Don't cry 'cause I ain't changing my mind

So find another fool like before

'Cause I ain't gonna live anymore believing

Some of the lies while all the signs are deceiving.

Sure, he wasn't going to live anymore, any time soon. But on the other hand... as Lily tried to convince him. He would stay alive in the minds of the people that had known and loved him.

He was glad they Ministry couldn't lie anymore about Voldemort being back. And like he said months ago... he wasn't going to accept their apology of allowing a dangerous criminal to gather followers unnoticed. He wasn't there, he died, falling through the veil in the dais at the Ministry.

At least he hadn't had to hear any more crap about Ministry official wanting to destroy or imprison Dumbledore. No more crap from Snivellus. If only he had taken Snivellus advice, and stayed home. Then he would still be there for Harry. But it was not in his character to stay at home, when his godson needed rescuing...

Don't think sorry is easily said

Don't try turning tables instead

You've taken lots of chances before

But I ain't gonna give anymore

Don't ask me

That's how it goes

He could give Harry advice anymore. The heavens where too far away from that, he couldn't help him anymore. But Remus would have to help now... Remus was the only GOOD Marauder left. Wormtail, the traitor had betrayed Lily and James. And he was to blame. It was all his fault. A fault made in the innocence of the era. The era where Marauders were allowed to cast pranks, without doing much harm to the people around them.

"But Sirius," Lily said. "Haven't you been paying attention? Dumbledore has said it before. You forget something!"

"What then?" Sirius said shrugging.

"By saving Wormtail's life, Wormtail is indebted to Harry, and only to Harry. That goes deeper than Voldemort's hold on Wormtail. Wormtail has to repay the debt, otherwise he can never be totally free!" James said in all his wisdom.
