Author's Note: To clear up some confusion from the first chapter, no, nothing happened btw Harry and Hermione. He is simply feeling guilty for lying and hurting her by

whatever he's done to Ginny. The wedding refered to Bill and Fleur's wedding, so this is during the summer after HBP. I don't want to reveal too much, but I will say (to help

defer any later confusion) that this chapter is Ginny remembering the wedding.....

Two-The Devastating Blow

She lay in her room, wide awake but so tired and weak. Her eyes seemed infinately glassy from the continuous crying that had ensued. She trembled, although she was

buried under several blankets her mother had decided to cover her with, and curling up into the tightest ball did not take away the cold, dead feeling she had inside. Her

fire red hair now seemed dull, as though someone had taken the sunshine away. Ginny Weasley's walls had been hit, and were falling, slowly but surely, crumbling

underneath the heavy weight of what had happened. That night...

"Harry!" Ginny ran to catch up with the tall boy. He was walking down a dirt path that curved off the small road leading to the Burrow. He wouldn't look at her. She managed

to catch him, and had to pull his arm to get him to stop.

"Harry, what's the matter? You were going to say something to me, and you just walked way!" Harry looked so unhappy. She

looked at him questioningly, but he simply turned away and continued walking.

"Are you not going to talk to me now, is that it? Are you just going to pretend like it never happened?" she yelled at him. He had walked down to a small creek, and was

sitting on the bank. Ginny stomped down to him. She noticed that he seemed out of it, not himself, and yet he had seemed fine earlier. What was the matter with him?

"What is your problem? I'm sorry that I told you I loved you! Why does it matter this much? I told you that if you didn't feel the same it-"

"I do feel the same," said Harry, his voice low and somber. "But why can't you just leave me alone. I walked away. That was your cue to let it go."

"I-I-I can't. Not if you feel the same. Love is a powerful thing, Harry. Why would you let that go to waste? Why don't you want to love me?"

At those words, Harry rose up from the ground. He looked frightening, and Ginny stepped back.

"I can't love you, Ginny. It's too dangerous, and I don't think I'll be the same once this war is all over. Hell, I'll probably die before it's over. Don't you get it?" He spat the last

of his words at her, and she flinched. He seemed angered, and depressed, and it was all Ginny could do not to cry for him.

"I don't care about all that. It doesn't matter to me anymore-"

"It matters to me!" Harry yelled at the girl before turning back towards the creek. His breathing was heavy, and Ginny didn't dare get close now.

"Please, Harry, I only wanted you to love me. I'm sorry if that hurts you."

He looked down, trying hard to resist the temptation he had been feeling all night. Why wouldn't she just leave him alone? He didn't dare think of what might happen if he

didn't stop now, or if she continued to stand there behind him. Suddenly, he heard her footsteps behind him, getting closer. Her arms reached out for Harry and wrapped

around his waist.

"I'm sorry Harry. I can't deny how I feel. Please, just give me this nigh-"

Instantly, Harry had turned around and kissed Ginny with an angry, passionate force. At first, she gave in to the moment, but it was when he wouldn't stop that Ginny

became fearful. She managed to pull her face away from his, and she saw the frightening look in his eyes again. This was not the Harry Potter she had fallen in love with.

This was someone who wanted to hurt her. She tried to pull out of his tight grasp, but it was no use. He pushed her against a tree, and began kissing her again. It was

not at all loving, but merely wanting, needy, almost disgusting. She began to weep, but that was the only sign of weakness she showed as he pulled her dress over her

head and began fondling her breasts, kissing and grabbing them. She tried to call for help, but her voice seemed to have escaped her, and she was helpless in his arms. Her

heart began to pound as he continued grabbing her, putting his hands all over her body. She didn't know what to do, and so she continued crying. He took her limp

body and lay her on the ground.

"Harry, please," she managed to wimper, but he seemed to not notice. She wanted to kick him, punch him, anything, but she felt too weak to do anything. She loved him

too much to hurt him. He pulled her underwear down after pulling his pants down, and shoved his penis inside of her. It hurt so much, she felt sick, but she couldn't stop him

as he continued to rape her. He finally came, and quickly pulled away from her. What had he done? It was as if he couldn't stop himself, and now look where he was at.

Ginny was on the ground still, crying and holding herself tightly. He looked at her, and instantly regretted everything. There was nothing he could do to change things now,

so he fastened his pants, brushed the dirt off, and sat back down on the bank.

"You can't say anything, Ginny. I, I can't be bothered with this," Harry said. He was astonished at how he was acting, as though he was talking about anything but the fact

that he had just raped her. He heard her sobbing, and he turned away.

"I, I don't know why I didn't it. You let me, though. You didn't stop me, so maybe you wanted it too..." he pondered, worry and guilt creeping up on him.

"I love you, Harry. Now, please, go away. Now." Ginny got up from the bank and stepped into the cool creek, trying to wash away the used feeling she now had. He

watched her for a moment, confused and taken aback, before walking back to the festivities of the wedding.
