Author's Note:
Thanks to everyone who kept me motivated, and everyone who loves me enough to review. =) *glomp*

Fate. The place no one likes to think of as a place until they get there. I used to hate the idea of Fate until I realized how inevitable it was.

How can you avoid a place you're already going? Choice? Hardly. Fate already knows what you're going to do - the illusion of real choice is much better than actually having it. People ask, if Fate is so inevitable, then how could she let me do...this; while they do something stupid.

Perhaps Fate is a woman. She can read you like a book, like your soul is open for all to see. You may meet her in the strange place called Dreamland, but you'll never know it was really your future you were seeing in front of you.

She sees your soul. Right now she is threatening to crush everyone in this room's souls..
Most people know where they belong in the world- Ms Hermione Granger knows that if she gets less than 8 of 10 she'll die of shame, because Fate will come to meet her when she stops pushing herself to do well. Mr. Ronald Weasley knows that if he doesn't attempt to be better than former Weasleys, he'll hate himself for not trying. Mr. Draco Malfoy - always knowing that Fate will follow him faithfully until he reaches Voldemort's side, regardless of if he attempts to escape, to fool Fate. Ginny Weasley found out rather quickly she's always the turning point in the story....always the one to change the facts. If she stopped aiming for that, she'd have nowhere left to go, no one to turn to. So she continues, living what she's here for.

Mr. Harry Potter- everyone's favorite hero. What does Fate have in store for him? We find out now, as I sit on Mr. Potter's deathbed in Hogwarts' hospital wing, resisting the tears that threaten to fall into my white beard.

Fate has caught up to Harry; always destined to fight evil - he knew that, everyone knew that.
So why has Fate come to a mere 17-year-old? I supposed Fate's an impatient wench... always wanting the best ones first.

Hold on Harry, don't let her take you yet. Don't let her steal the dreams of so many people - ruin so many lives. Hermione and Ron stand next to me, holding hands, tears streaming shamelessly down their cheeks, as they have been for hours. There's no romance there - they only fear for the best, and most loyal friend someone could ask for, much less teenagers.

I look up from my place on the bed to see the looks of fear, anticipation, worry gleaming in their eyes. Behind them stand Harry's dozens of supporters...The entire Weasley family, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, the Quidditch team, all the Gryffindors, many people who's mutual hate for Harry kept him fuming, Harry's professors, countless reporters. All with the same expression on their faces. Has Fate come to get him? Is she here to steal our dreams? Is she going to take our Harry?

I take a few lifetime-long moments to prepare to say the most difficult thing in my whole one hundred and seventy years of life.

"Fate has come for Harry. He is no longer with us."
