Ch. 1: Discoveries

Harry looked up at the huge man in front of him. "Hi Hagrid!"

"Hi 'Arry, 'Mione, Ron! First years over here!" Hagrid went back to waving to the first years.

After two hours or so Harry went into the common room. First years stared amazed at his scar. He took a look around. In the corner there was an angel with blazing fiery hair and playful eyes talking intently to Hermione.

Ron caught Harry staring at them but made nothing of it. "Let's go talk to Hermione and Ginny."

Harry looked around for another head that had red hair and could see no one. Ginny? Harry glanced at the angel. He could feel the candle that shows their love growing brighter. She grew...and in a good way too! Harry could remember that he never showed any other interest in Ginny than best friend's sister until fifth year. That was the year when he saw the change in how sweet she was and how developed she'd become from that nervous yet attractive blushing little twelve year old.

Harry turned back to the conversation.

"I dare you, Hermione, to kiss Ron on the cheeks," Ginny said.

Hermione put her hands on her hips in annoyance. She thought for a minute. "Okay...only if you will do the same to Harry!"

They shook on it and Hermione turned towards the blushing Ron and kissed him. Ron then fell on the floor in astonishment.

Ginny lightly pressed her lips on Harry's cheek. Harry thought of a good comeback, but all he could do was lightly punch Ginny in her arm laughing.

Hermione burst out laughing along with Ginny.

"Oh no! Ron passed out," Ginny exclaimed.

Harry agreed, "I am not surprised."

In the seventh year boys' dorm...

After Ron slipped on his pajamas and under his covers, Harry said, "You got a mark right here," then motioned towards his cheek.

Ron wiped it off and looked. "Lipstick! You shouldn't have told me. I didn't believe 'Mione kissed me and now I'll never remember!" Ron threw his hands in the air and when his head hit the pillow, he immediately fell asleep.

Harry lay in bed thinking about Ginny and when he did fall asleep his dreams were still on Ginny.

In a far away place hidden by the dark that surrounds it, Lord Voldemort was sitting in a comfy chair yet he was very uncomfortable.

"This is Harry Potter's seventh year at that school. It is time to think of yet another plan that will crush and grind him," said a high ear pitching voice. This time no one will interfere. Lord Voldemort could think of nothing that he did not already do. Every horrible spell in the book was used except of course the killing spell. But he needed a way to get to Harry or vice versa and make Harry put his guard down so he can perform the spell.

There was nothing in the Ultimate Enemy's Surprise Attacks. He was a wizard and he was clueless. Not even a follower or Death Eater could tell him. But a simple muggle fairytale book told all. "Find Harry Potter's true love and make him go through anything to get her back," Lord Voldemort whispered. He laughed an ear piercing screech, high enough to shatter Earth, but because of the surrounding darkness, no one was here to hear it.
