I Believe in You

I was never the one that believed in dreaming because it never got me very far or believed that love could find me. I never believed in miracles, that is until I found you. I guess I can't say that I found you since you have always been there. Even though it was in your own weird way. I guess I have always tried to understand why you always could get a rise out of me. You were able to put out all that emotion out of me even though most of the time it was pure hatred, you know what they say: There is a thin line between love and hate, I understand that now. Please believe me when I say you kind of kept me grounded. Everything in my life was changing except you, you were my constant is this experiment I like to call my life.

Before you I never believed in *Fairytales or that golden slippers could find the perfect foot although I wished I could. I never believed in wishes coming true. Everything in my life was going wrong and you told me that everything is possible and that things will turn out fine if I just believed. I took a chance and sweared that my love for you could last forever and I believed in you because you were my constant you were never going to change and I thought I could count on that. I could count on the fact that if you believed in us I could believe too.

I was proven wrong and my constant wasn't so constant anymore. It turned out that you stopped believing in our love and the power of love. The tables had turned and I found myself on the other end of our love spectrum and I was the one asking you to believe. It got to the point that I told you that I didn't believe in happily ever after that I thought it wasn't for me at least but I told you that your every first kiss changed all that and it seemed that you were the only could do that.

Now I am asking you to believe, I need you to believe in our love. Let me tell this now and I hope it comes across loud and clear I am not going to give up on you that easily at least not after all we been through. I will not give up because you taught me how to believe. You taught me that love could conquer all and love was able to forgive and that is what I am asking of you. I don't think I can stress how much I believe in you. I believe that if the fates allow, you too will believe in us and you will come back to me, I believe that one of these days I will be blessed to have you kiss me with passion filled kisses. I believe that fate will guide you to find your way home to me however long it may take for you to start believing I will be right here waiting for you, for eternity if I have to. I might not need to wait that long because I know in my heart of hearts that fate has a part in this and that your are my destiny.

I believe in you and I think it's time you start believing too.
