Author's Note:
Please take into mind that I have not read the fourth book yet and that I am in the middle of book three. The second and first book will be involved in my story as spoilers more than the third and fourth book. I only know various facts from those last two books, so that is the reason. Other than that, enjoy!

For those of you who don't like Harry/Hermione and Ginny/Draco then don't read this. This story will contain those two biases heavily. And now, on with the story.

Reunions and Revelations

Chapter One

The alarm went off and Harry Potter got up for work. He walked into the bathroom to take a shower first off. As he let the water run for a moment, so that it would heat up, he looked at his very sleepy reflection in the mirror.

Harry still looked the same as he did when he was younger. Well, at least facially. He was much taller and a bit more built. Harry worked as a professor at Hogwarts and taught Beginning Incantations. The only other school mate from his past that taught there was Hermione. She taught History. They had become very close, more so than they were when they were younger. Ron had moved to America because he had business there. The others, well, he'd find out about them at the Hogwarts Reunion. Harry was owled a few days back and was given an invitation to the reunion.

Harry jumped into the shower to wash himself. He began to think about whom he would take and realized that there was no one. No one, except for Hermione.

'I might be able to take her, if she's willing to let me do so,' he thought.

Hermione Granger had turned into a lovely young woman. During her seventh year at Hogwarts, her looks had changed, along with the fact that she was Head Girl and Harry was Head Boy. Harry never thought of Hermione in a romantic way nor was he like to any time soon. Harry, with these thoughts gone from his head, jumped out of the shower and dressed himself.

The minute after he was dressed, he received an owl from Hedwig.

Harry looked at the letter in his hand and saw that it was from Hermione. He opened it and began to read.

Dear Harry,

How are you? I know that receiving this letter might be odd to you, but it was necessary. If you didn't hear, Hogwarts is closed today. Yes, closed. I was very surprised when I received my owl about it, but when I read on, the reason was that the head of the school, Professor Dumbledore, along with the other head professors under him, are preparing for the Hogwarts Reunion party. Have you anyone to go with yet? I myself am having a hard time finding someone. I hope to see you there tomorrow night!

Sincerely,

Hermione Granger

"So, she has no one to take her. I have no one to go with, so I'll just ask her," Harry said to himself.

Harry then sat down at his desk in his study and began to write back to her.

Dear Hermione,

Thank you for the owl. I have just now received it. If it have not been for you, I would have been already on my way to the school, for I am already dressed. You tell me that you have no one to go with to the Hogwarts Reunion party. I have no one as well. I was wondering that maybe you would like to go with me. We're both good friends, so there should be no awkwardness about it. Let me know what you think.

-Harry Potter

Harry, once finished writing his letter to Hermione, summoned Hedwig.

"Take this letter to Hermione as fast as you can, Hedwig," Harry told his pet owl.

The owl took the letter and flew out of the open window and off to Hermione's house.

At that moment, Hermione was making breakfast for herself when Hedwig's owl came. She opened up the kitchen window and let Hedwig in.

"Harry's owled me? Whatever for?" Hermione asked herself.

She opened up the letter that Harry sent and began to read it. She then smiled at the fact that Harry wanted to go with her.

'He's sweet,' she thought. 'I'll owl him back.'

Hermione got out a pen and a piece of paper as she sat down at the kitchen table and began to write back to Harry.

Dear Harry,

You are very sweet to ask me to go with you. My answer, of course, would be yes. I am most sincerely flattered, Harry. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Hermione Granger

"Here you go, Hedwig," Hermione told the owl as she gave it the letter. "Take this to Harry, alright?"

The owl took Hermione's letter and headed off towards the direction of Harry's house. Harry was sitting beside the open window, waiting for Hedwig to return. Once he saw Hedwig, Harry took the letter from his owl and read it quickly.

Harry blushed slightly at the tone of the letter. 'I guess she's just happy that she's not going alone.'

Harry then began to write one last letter to Hermione.

Dear Hermione,

I'm glad to be taking you to the reunion. I'm happy that you're happy. This will be my last owl of the day, so there is no need to respond to this one. Just saying that you're very welcome. I'll be at your house to pick you up at 7pm sharp tomorrow night. See you then!

-Harry Potter

Harry then sent the last letter to Hermione's house and when she got it, she opened it quickly and smiled.

"You can go on home, Hedwig," she said to the owl. Hedwig then went back to Harry's house.

"Now, what to wear..." Hermione started pensively.

Hermione knew that she was behaving like a teenaged girl, but she couldn't help herself. Ever since the end of fourth year, she had had an enormous crush on Harry. She had been bold enough at the end of that year to give him a kiss on the cheek. Maybe it was her imagination, but she thinks that she might have seen him blush slightly from that kiss.

'I shouldn't get my hopes too high,' she thought. 'I might jinx my luck.'

She knew that even though she was twenty-two years old, she still had feelings for him. Actually, they had grown over time. She loved him. Plain and simple. She didn't know how he felt about her exactly, but this party was going to be a sure-fire way for her to find out. She was going to go all out for this one. Simple, yet elegant. That was her motif.

Hermione giggled lightly and then began to prepare herself for the next day.

Back at Harry's house, Harry was sorting out his now overly confused feelings for Hermione.

'She's just a friend,' he thought, repeating it like a mantra.

Yet, he knew that it wasn't true. Well, at least, not anymore. Their friendship had developed into something more. It might have been a more quiet flirtation between the two, instead of the loud one between Hermione and Ron, but it was much more pure. How? There was a quiet attraction between the two, which was obvious, but at same time, not. Surely enough, Hermione was also attracted to Ron Weasely, but their flirtation was one that the whole school knew about. Then came Victor Krum and Cho Chang. Oh yes, the blushing and stammering around these two for Harry and Hermione was on an all time high. There was also the Ginny Weasely episode for Harry, but that quickly wore off. Now that Ron was in America, Harry and Hermione could be alone together without creating a love triangle.

Harry looked around for a suit to wear for the next night. He was intent on impressing Hermione. He had never felt this strongly about her for as long as he had known her. He didn't know what to call the feelings, which he had for her. Maybe it was love, yet one cannot be sure until the feelings for the other person are tested.

Harry would be sure of what feelings he had for her the next night when he saw her. Love? It just might be.
