The Veelas 03
Hermione walked with Ginny to breakfast. They ran into Harry on the way down.
"Hey guys, Madam Pomfrey finally let me out of the hospital wing, I can go to classes today." Hermione's face reddened as she remembered last night.
"Let's go to breakfast," Hermione said hastily. She wanted to forget last night, but what she saw and heard in the Great Hall did not help.
When Hermione walked in the first thing she saw was Draco talking to the new girl. Her heart cringed. She had the urge to march over there and kill that what's-her-face-Emily. She slammed her stuff down on the Gryffindor table. She could hear their conversation from her seat.
"Emily, were you in the hospital wing last night?" Draco asked. Hermione dropped her glass.
"No, Draco. Why?" Emily said in her sweet, everyone-loves-me-voice.
"I just thought that, someone was in the room last night."
"And you that it was me because?" she flirted madly.
"I don't know," Draco said, trying not to fall under her charm.
"Draco?" Emily breathed.
"Yes?"
"Just shut up," Emily said and leaned in and kissed him.
Hermione dropped her fork. She was boiling, but there was nothing she could do to stop the two. Draco was not hers and she was not his.

Hermione walked into the dungeons for potions. She sat next to Neville; he was her partner. Snape walked in,
"Today class we will be learning about the..." Hermione did not pay attention. The entire time she stared at Draco. God, she loved him. Hermione gasped. The class stared at her.
"Miss Granger," Snape said icily. "Is there something you would like to tell us all?" Hermione cheeks flushed; she could feel everyone staring at her.
"No sir," she said quietly.
"Okay then, as I was saying class..." Hermione put her hands over her face. She loved Draco Malfoy.

The next few days wherever Hermione saw Draco he was either with Emily, just leaving Emily, or Emily was coming towards him. Hermione supposed they were a couple now. Everyone morning Hermione had the sickly event of them kissing. She grew to loathe Emily and love Draco even more. She would do anything to get Draco anything.
No matter what Hermione tried to do, she could never take Emily away from Draco. Until one day Harry, Ron, and Draco got into another fight....
Hermione was walking down the corridor towards the library when she ran into someone. It was Draco. Hermione mumbled an apology and started to pick up his stuff when Draco muttered,
"I can do it myself mudblood." He said this as soon as Harry and Ron had come down the corridor.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY MALFOY?" they boomed. Hermione groaned.
"I said," Draco repeated. "'I can do it myself mudblood.'" Ron screamed,
"THIS IS TO MUCH MALFOY!" Ron roared.
"Ron," Hermione said. "I'm fine, I just, I'm fine."
"HERMIONE! ARE YOU GOING TO LET THIS SLIMEBALL JUST TAKE TOTAL CONTROL OF YOU?"
"No Ron, but you are going to get yourself another detention if you don't learn to manage your anger."
"Manage my anger?" Ron repeated weakly. "MANAGE MY ANGER? I WILL SHOW YOU MANAGING MY ANGER!" Ron jumped onto of Draco knocking both of them to the ground.
"RON!" Harry said. He and Hermione went to pull Ron off Draco. In the process of doing so, the two injured themselves. Hermione's toe was broken, Harry's eyes was cut, Ron had a black eye and a jammed finger, and Draco had his gash that had just healed open and bleeding freely again at the end.
"Thank you Ron," Hermione said sarcastically once they had pulled Ron of Draco. "Thanks a lot. I am going to the hospital wing now." Hermione walked off.
"I am going too," Draco said shrugging. He followed behind Hermione leaving Harry yelling at Ron.

"You okay?" Draco mumbled. They were walking towards the hospital wing.
"I'm fine. How about you?" Hermione answered. She was limping
"Look, I am sorry about calling you a mudblood, I guess I was, uh, just not in a good mood. I haven't been having a good day."
"What's wrong?" Hermione asked.
"I just..." Draco stopped. "My girlfriend and I just had a fight, that's all."
"Oh," Hermione said trying not to sound to happy. "That's tough."
"Yeah, and I have no clue what I am going to do now. The only thing to do I guess is to break up."
Hermione stopped walking.
"Break up with her?"
"Yeah, come on, my face is bleeding and it is getting annoying."
"You, you sure you are going to break up with her?"
"There is nothing else I can do," Draco said glumly. Hermione gulped.
"Maybe I can help you." Draco stared at her his face grave.
"You, you would do that for me?" he asked.
"Sure," Hermione smiled. "I would love to." Draco smiled at her for the first time.
"Thanks Hermione," he said and started to walk towards the infirmary. Hermione followed him. What had she gotten herself into?
