Becoming More

Harry and Hermione are in their seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and they find themselves in a rather peculiar predicament. The two seventeen-year-olds end up sharing a cabin on a class trip that is supposed to act as a temporary escape from the wizarding world. However, they soon discover that it is much more than they bargained for.

Hermione and Harry decide not to talk about Ron's death, yet Hermione vividly recalls every detail in a flashback. The memories become too overwhelming, and she is engulfed in sorrow. If that is not horrible enough, Draco comes knocking on the door, being nothing less of his sarcastic Slytherin self.

Tensions about sharing a cabin are finally starting to get to Harry and Hermione's heads. Declarations of love are made and tears are shed.
