The sun was shining bright, that warm July night. The breeze was slight, the air heavy with humidity. I was walking back to my house, for it was no longer my home; since I'd graduated from Hogwarts, my parents had more or less kicked me out. I paid rent to stay in my own room. It was entirely unfair.
As I crossed the street, a black or maybe blue car pulled up next to me and asked if I knew my way to wherever. I replied that I did know; it was just a couple streets up the road, at the dead end. It was impossible to miss. He drove off, and I continued on my way. The breeze was getting a little stronger, and the sun was setting. I knew it would be a cold night, something I'd been looking forward to ever since the last heat wave.
Just before I reached my corner, the man in the blue or black car pulled up again. Before I knew what was happening, I had been thrown in the back seat of the car, and it was squealing down my street, past, then away from my house.
For the first time since the war had ended, I didn't have my wand on me. I didn't want to explain its existence to my friend, and I needed to know I'd be ok with out it.
I don't know how long we drove, 15 minutes, or perhaps 3 hours. Time became relative as I thought of how I was going to escape. I couldn't disapparate without a wand. I didn't know if they were Muggles or not. The situation could be completely different if they were. The two men in front, for now I realized there were two did not talk. Every two seconds the driver would look back as if he wasn't really sure he'd actually done what he thought he'd actually done, and would see me and feel some kind of relief.
The car finally stopped and turned off. I tried to pay attention to my surroundings, I tried to see their faces, but the sun had completely set. I wondered if I'd ever see my family and friends again, or if I was merely being dropped off at a party and this was some kind of joke.
I was pulled roughly out of the car, and was thrown to the ground. The breeze was blowing real hard, and the ground felt frozen under my back. The man sitting in the passenger side had done that, and he proceeded to push me into the ground. My hands snaked around his, trying to get them off my throat, but they wouldn't go away. I couldn't make him stop.
I thought it couldn't possibly get worse, but when his hands left my throat to my shorts, I knew better. I knew this wasn't over, and when it was, the two of them would be walking away, and I would not. I tried desperately to conjure every spell I could think of that would keep me safe, but nothing worked without my wand.
He raped me. He held me down and raped me and the driver stood over us and watched. I couldn't understand why I couldn't stop him; I'd taken self defense, I'd used every spell I knew how. The more I irritated him, the more he seemed to enjoy holding me down. Vile words spilled out of his mouth, but my mind took no notice. I was intent on surviving.
After he finished with me, he stood up and wiped himself down, put his bits back into his jeans and stared at me for a moment. I offered my silence, my pride, my dignity, anything for my life.
He said no, grabbed the wand from the driver's back and aimed it at me.
And then, I died.
