Chapter 2

It was December 22nd and Ginny was getting ready to board the Hogwarts Express. She, Ron and Hermione were returning to the Burrow for Christmas! They had just received a letter from Mrs. Weasley telling them that Harry, Fred, George, Bill, Fleur, and Charlie were all there and awaiting their arrival.

When they finally arrived at King's Cross Station, Ginny ran straight into Harry's waiting arms and he hugged her so tightly she could barely breathe. And yet she didn't want him to let go. When he finally did let go they all went out to Fred and George's posh new car and made their way home.

Harry was sitting at the Burrow, staring at the clock, not to check the time but to see if she was traveling yet. Ginny was coming home for the Christmas Holidays and she and the others were do to leave Hogwarts at any moment.

Finally Ginny's hand moved to the spot marked traveling and Harry went to find Mr. and Mrs. Weasley as well as the other Weasleys that would be coming to pick up the rest of their family.

When they arrived at the station, Harry barely had to wait five minutes before Ginny came running through the barrier. Harry scooped her up in his arms and hugged her tightly, he never wanted to let go again. When he finally let go, they began their journey home.

While they were traveling Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny discussed Harry's traveling,

"I haven't found any yet, but I have an idea of where I'm going to look next."

"I've been doing some research but I couldn't find any information on any significant artifacts belonging to Gryffindor or Ravenclaw."

"We've really missed you this year, school isn't the same without you, but McGonagall said you can come back and finish any time you wanted to."

"She also said that Dumbledore's portrait is in her office now and if you ever needed to speak with him for any clues in your search that you should just contact her on when you would arrive."

"That's great maybe I'll be able to see you guys when I come to the castle and talk to McGonagall and Dumbledore."

This conversation lasted their whole way home.

When they arrived at home and all of heir trunks had been placed in the appropriate rooms, Mrs. Weasley called everyone out into the garden for dinner.

After they had all had their fill, Mr. Wealsey and Bill disappeared into the shed for a few minutes only to return with boxes upon boxes full of Christmas decorations.

"Time to make the house look festive!" Said Mr. Weasley excitedly.

They all went inside and began sorting decorations, while Ginny turned on Holiday music. Mr. Weasley, Charlie, Bill, Fred and George decorated outside, while Mrs. Weasley, Fleur, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny tackled the inside.

As Harry looked around at everyone bustling about happily and singing along with their favorite songs, he smiled, then he went back to helping Ginny wind the garland around the banister of the stairwell.

This was going to be a Great Christmas.
