It was a pleasantly warm day outside. Harry and Hermione sat outside by the lake, talking. Hermione had just had an argument with Ron, which had ruined their 10 month relationship.

"Harry, he just kept on upsetting me. Flirting with, dancing with and even kissing other girls!"

"It doesn't matter. If he's not your type, he's not your type. There's someone out there for you."

"Like who?" she sobbed into Harry's shoulder

"Like me."

"WHAT!" Hermione suddenly exclaimed, jumping to her feet.

"Sorry," Harry said, "I'm sorry I scared you. Please don't hate me."

"I don't," she said

"Don't what?"

"Hate you."

"Great! Then will you be my Girlfriend?"

"Sure."

The moment ended with a short, sweet kiss.

Meanwhile, Ron was pacing the Gryffindor common room, thinking about what he had just done.

"How could I have blown at her like that?" he asked himself, "How could I? We had everything. I made her cry, she said she was jealous of my 'flirting' with other girls. I don't, do I? Oh God, I'm so sorry. I'll go tell her. No, don't lower to her. She'll come grovelling back. Or will she? I'd better go and make up with her, just in case."

And he walked out of the Gryffindor common room to find Hermione.

"Arrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhh," Draco Malfoy screamed, as he sat in the otherwise empty Slytherin common room.

"She's driving me nuts. I love her to bits. I want to ask her out, but how? Damn Mudblood. No, she's beautiful. Stunning. Drop dead gorgeous. Crap, I'm head over heels in love with Hermione Granger! No, Malfoys don't love. But she is intelligent and beautiful and.... oh no, I'm starting again! Help! OK, get a grip. You do not love the stupid Mudblood. It's no use. I'll go find her. Maybe she'll like you."

And with that, he went to find Hermione.

In the corridor, an argument was going on. Draco, Ron, Harry and Hermione had all met up. Ron was angry with Harry, Harry was mad at Ron, Draco was furious at himself, and Hermione was just fed up with all the yelling.

"Harry, how could you, putting the moves on my Girl when she was obviously still messed up!" Ron yelled at the raven-haired boy

"Your Girl! You treated me like another of your sex toys!" Hermione screamed

"That's right!" Harry responded angrily

"I love her!" Ron retorted

"Yeah, right!" said Hermione

"Just lay off her!" put in Harry

"No! Like I said, I love her, and she loves me!"

"No, I don't! I don't love you!" Hermione was screeching

"I love her too, don't I get a say in this?" Draco put in

The trio stared at him in shocked silence. Draco liked Hermione? This was too much to handle.

Harry was the first to come to his senses. He stopped yelling at Ron for a short moment, and said,

"Look, Malfoy, this is between me, Hermione and Ron. Now is really not the time to declare your love to Hermione, OK."

And with that, Draco walked off and the fighting continued.

Deciding she'd had enough, Hermione finally yelled,

"Hey, guys, this is my life we're discussing, and It's my decision!"
