Author's Note:
Here it is!! The 'long-awaited' sequel to 'Positive'!!

I'm pregnant. Oh my God, I'm pregnant!

These words were running through Ginny's head as Hermione led her down the stairs to Hogsmeade. Pregnant at 16 by Harry Potter...Mum and Dad will kill me!

They spoke little as Hermione and Ginny walked out into the sunshine. People were laughing, totally care-free and not worrying about a thing...if only they knew...

"Hermione," Ginny said finally, her voice quaking. They were now on the path to Hogsmeade. "What will happen to me? What will Mum and Dad think? Will I be expelled? What if Harry doesn't accept this?"

Hermione was silent for a moment, apparently thinking. After a minute, she replied, "Ginny, I honestly don't know. That's something you'll have to work out yourself."

Of course. Typical Hermione to make someone work out something all by herself. Hermione wasn't pregnant. She didn't have to tell her boyfriend that he got her pregnant. But somehow, Ginny was strengthened by Hermione's advice. The two didn't speak until they entered Hogsmeade, full of chattering, happy students. Ginny's heart beat faster - what if Harry left her, abandoned her? She shook her head; dwelling on negative thoughts would only hold her back.

"Where d'you think they are?" said Hermione, looking around.

Ginny shrugged, hoping Hermione couldn't hear her heart pounding. "Zonko's, maybe, or Honeydukes."
Hermione nodded and the two girls searched all of Hogsmeade. Ron and Harry weren't in Zonko's, Honeydukes, or the Three Broomsticks. When the two girls emerged from a clothes store, an idea hit Ginny. She grabbed Hermione's sleeve and said, "The Shrieking Shack!"
Hermione gasped, "They must be there! C'mon!"

Hermione grabbed Ginny's hand, and they sprinted from the village to the Shrieking Shack. When they reached the shack, Ginny was out of breath and panting, which was very unusual for her.

"Do you need a break?" Hermione asked.

Ginny nodded, sitting down on a rock. She and Hermione rested a moment, then, without warning (she didn't even know, herself) Ginny jumped down the rock and ran down to where Harry and Ron where standing, deep in conversation. Ginny ran to Harry, flung her arms around him, and dissolved into sobs.

"Ginny!" Ron and Harry exclaimed at the same time.

Ginny sobbed onto Harry's chest, burying her face in his T-shirt. How could she tell him? How?

There were footsteps, and then Hermione's voice. She must have come down from the hill, Ginny thought, still sobbing. "Harry," Hermione prompted, "there's something Ginny needs to tell you."

Ginny pulled away from Harry, ignoring the curious glance from Ron.

"Harry," she began, shaking. Her palms were sweaty, and she could barely stand out of nerves. Hermione laid a comforting hand on her shoulder, and Ginny stopped shaking. Hermione would stand by her, no matter what...

"Harry..." Ginny said, staring into his gorgeous green eyes. She nearly forgot where she was. "Harry, whatever happens, will you promise you'll still love me?" She felt tears prick her eyes, and she blinked them back. Please say yes, Harry...please say yes, we have to go through this together...

Harry stared at her for a moment, green eyes looking at brown ones, until he finally said, "Okay, no matter what you say, I'll still love you."

"Harry...I'm -" Ginny started, but Ron interrupted angrily.

"Say it already!!!"
Ginny glared at Ron. "I am, Ronald!! And for your information, I'm a big girl now, so you can just leave me be!!"
Ron looked taken aback and started an angry reply, but Hermione snapped, "Shut up, Ron." Ron stared at her at a loss for words but didn't say anything else.

Ginny looked back at Harry, into his eyes. All she saw was love, two pools of green love on his face. She took a deep breath and said, "Harry...I'm pregnant."

Her words hung in the air. Harry blinked at her, and Ron was looking from Ginny to Harry, a murderous expression on his face.

"What the hell did you do to her, Potter?" he demanded, his face red. Ginny could almost feel the anger from his words on her skin.

"Ronald," Hermione said warningly. "Ginny's almost of age. She can handle this on her own."

"Are you crazy??" he shot at Ginny. "Having...having sex when you're only 16??"

"I'm not a baby, Ron!" Ginny shouted, flaring up and facing him. "You think I'm so little - but you're just a year and a half older than I am!! It's not like you haven't thought about doing it to Hermione before!!!"
Hermione gaped at Ron. "You...you...?!?"
"Hermione..." Ron said breathlessly.

"Harry?" said Hermione timidly.

Ginny had almost forgotten about Harry. She slowly turned to look at him, and she could barely register the emotion on his face - it was red, and he was frowning, but his face was twisted into an awkward grin and tears were streaming down his cheeks. "I...I..." he stammered, then pulled Ginny into a rib-breaking hug. "I...I never expected..." He looked tentatively at her belly. Hesitantly, he raised a hand and placed on it, smiling. "Our...our baby," Harry choked.

Ginny felt a lump rising in her throat, but before she could stop it, the tears came. "Oh Harry," she gasped, throwing her arms around his neck lovingly. "You...you won't leave me, ever, I know you won't."

Harry lifted her chin, tears streaming down his cheeks also. "I would never, not with the child we're going to raise."

"GINNY!!!!!!!!!" Ron bellowed furiously.
"Harry, look out!" Hermione screamed. "Ginny!"

There was a streak of skin and Harry was lying on the ground, his glasses broken, his nose bleeding, and a lump rising on his forehead. He was out cold.

"No!!" Ginny screamed. "No! No, no....Harry..."

She felt a wave of nausea, and she was engulfed in darkness.

"Where am I?" Those were the words first out of Ginny's mouth when she regained consciousness. She laid still, her eyes closed.

"The hospital wing, dear."

Oh my God, it's Mum!!!

Ginny sat bolt upright. She was in the hospital wing, in a bed. Her mother was on her left, looking worried but relieved at the same time. Harry was on her other side, sitting in a chair, his glasses mended and many bandages on his head.

"Oh Harry, you're all right!" Ginny exclaimed. She leaned over and kissed Harry on the cheek. Then her heart started pounding again - how could she tell her mum that Harry was her boyfriend and he had gotten her pregnant?

"Er...Mum?" Ginny said uncertainly. God, please help me, she thought desperately.

"Yes, Ginny?" Mrs. Weasley said. She kissed her daughter on the head and gushed, "Oh Ginny, I'm so glad you're all right!"

"Mum...I have to tell you something." Harry reached out and squeezed her hand. Oh please God, please...give me strength...and please don't let Mum have the baby aborted or get rid of me, please...she prayed silently. "Mum, I'm pregnant."
Mrs. Weasley dropped the bag she was holding. "What did you say?" she gasped, staring at Ginny.

"I'm pregnant," Ginny quaked, holding Harry's hand with both of hers.

"Virginia Weasley," Mrs. Weasley said, her face reddening, "you are...pregnant?"

Ginny nodded, shrinking back into the covers. "By Harry," she added quietly.

Mrs. Weasley seemed to be torn between rage and happiness. "My first...oh my...Ginny!! Okay, tell me the whole story!"

Harry looked at Ginny and gulped. "Well...we've been...you know...having...having sex for...a while, every Hogsmeade visit, and a couple times in the bathroom. We thought we were ready......Mrs. Weasley, I'm ready to raise this child."

"Oh Mum," Ginny sobbed, "please don't be angry!!! I...I don't want to be expelled!! Mum!!!! I'm so sorry..."

"Ginny," said her mum, "I assure you that you will be punished - you will have to take care of the child on your own, no matter what!!"
Ginny stared at her. "You mean...you're not going to have it aborted?" she gasped.

Mrs. Weasley smiled briefly. "No, I couldn't do that to my grandchild!"

"Oh, Mum..." Ginny threw her arms around her mother's neck. "Thank you...thank you so much..."

Mrs. Weasley said, "But Ginny, this will be a big responsibility."

Ginny nodded. "I know, I'm scared."

"Ginny," Harry said, "I love you."

"I love you, too," Ginny responded, kissing him on the lips. "And you too, Mum..." she added, looking at her mother with happy eyes. Her face fell. "But...what about my classes? What about morning sickness and stuff?? Oh Mum, I'm so scared..." She buried her face into her covers sobbing. I can't do this, she thought. I just can't...

"Ginny!!! Harry, what the bloody hell did you do to her now?!?!"

Ron and Hermione had entered the ward. "HARRY!!" Ron bellowed in outrage. "What the bloody hell is your problem??"

"Ron!!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed indignantly, while Hermione held on to the back of Ron's robes to keep him from attacking Harry. "Calm down!!! I won't say what Ginny and Harry did was right - and I assure you they will be punished - but I am accepting this. Ronald, you must too!!"

"He...he...that...that b -" Ron yelled, flailing his arms in a vain attempt to break free from Hermione's grip.

"Ron, how can you call him that when he's your best friend?" Hermione exclaimed impatiently. "Don't you see? When Harry and Ginny get married -" Ron's jaw dropped, "- you'll be related to The-Boy-Who-Lived!! Who's also your best friend!!"

"What...I need a lie-down..." Ron said stupidly, grabbing his head and moaning. "Harry, mate...I'm sorry..." He sat down in a chair near Ginny's bed. "And Gin, I'm sorry too...I just...I dunno..." He closed his eyes and sighed.

"Mum," Ginny said, a tear rolling down her cheek, "I'm so scared." She looked at Harry.

"So'm I," Harry replied, smiling.

"I'm absolutely terrified, though!" Ginny gasped, squeezing Harry's hand. She looked into his beautiful green eyes. "But we're in this together, aren't we?"

Harry grinned. "Of course!"

Even though she knew her mother would never fully accept her daughter being pregnant (by Harry Potter!) at sixteen, Ginny knew that she, Hermione, and of course, Harry, would always be there to help and support her.

Epilogue

Harry, Ron, and Ginny all made up - by the time the baby was born, Ron was too busy being an uncle to be mad at Ginny and Harry. Ginny managed to take classes and care for the baby - with Harry, Ron, and Hermione's help. Hermione and Ron got married when they were 19 and had twins a year later. Two years after Ginny graduated from Hogwarts, she and Harry married. As for Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, well, they were happy to be surrounded by grandchildren.

I hope their reactions were satisfactory!! Please review!!
