Oliver's Girl

They kicked off and flew into the sky. Serenity got the Quaffle first, flew higher, and headed towards their goal side. She tuned out the sound of the students in the bleachers so that all she could hear were the other Quidditch players. She had only gotten about twelve yards from the center when Millicent rammed her from the side. The impact caught her by surprise. She defiantly let go of the Quaffle and something hit her, sending her spiraling.

"Foul! That should be a foul!" many were yelling.

She came out of her trance and flew off to catch Millicent. Alicia was slowing her down. Angelina flew up to the left of the large girl while Alicia was on the right. Angelina hit the Quaffle tucked under Millicent's arm. She wasn't meaning to get it, she just needed to get her attention off of Alicia. It worked. Millicent jutted to the left and hit Angelina pretty hard, but Alicia took advantage of the opportunity and snatched the Quaffle from her grasp. Millicent didn't even notice; she was busy ramming and having "fun" with Angelina.

Alicia flew towards Serenity and tried to speed ahead of one of the angry Slytherin Chasers. Unfortunately, her Shooting Star was no match for the Nimbus 2001. She made a quick dive and flew back up to pass the Quaffle to Ren. She grasped it just when the Chaser hit Alicia. Serenity clutched to her broom and held it as close as possible.

She shot forward towards the goal. It was a clear gap. Out of nowhere, a Bludger zoomed by her head, followed by Fred.

"Sorry!" he yelled over his shoulder. He hit it towards Millicent who was now after her.

Serenity clung tighter and headed towards the hoops. The Keeper smirked, though Ren could tell he was worried. She faked to the left (which worked), and headed up to the highest hoop. She flung the Quaffle through.

"And 10 points for Gryffindor!" Lee yelled.

This was the rest of the game: Gryffindor scored again, then Slytherin, then Gryffindor, and then Slytherin. The score was 30, 20:Gryffindor in the lead. The Slytherins were being violent, and the downpour continued. They started yelling to their Seeker to hurry up and find the Snitch because their robes and hair were soaked. The Gryfindors laughed and took advantage of their disliking. Flint had the Quaffle and was feet away from the hoops when the whistle blew.

"And Gryffindor wins! 180 to 20!" Lee yelled through the storm.

The Gryffindor team flew down and made a circle of celebration. The Slytherins walked off the field in defeat, some cursing under their breath. The fans from the bleachers poured down and congratulated their friends. Fred, George, and Serenity walked to the locker room together, shouting and celebrating. The locker room was wet and muddy, yet it seemed to make the victory all the more better.

Everyone on the team was hugging one another, and some even dancing. Serenity kissed Fred and George, each not seeming to mind, though they turned slightly pink. She walked over to Angelina and Alicia, who were just done kissing Harry. They made girly squeals and jumped up and down.

"We've won! I can't believe it!" Alicia squealed. They all hugged and went to join the other players.

Serenity walked over to Harry and hugged him. "Great job! I didn't think we could last much longer!" She leaned down and kissed his cheek. He blushed slightly but smiled.

Oliver was shaking hands with the twins and was smiling so big he could have won Teen Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile. When Oliver was through, he headed toward her.

"Oh no!" she thought.

He paused for a moment as if not knowing what to do. "Great game," he said, and hugged her.

She was slightly disappointed, but smiled. "Thanks. You too."

She walked over to Fred and George, and they hugged each other a few more times. They shedded their Quidditch robes, though they would probably be better than the tee shirts and jeans that were soaked and sticking to their skins. They headed to the door.

"Party tonight. You coming Oliver?" Fred asked. He knew that the others would come, but Oliver rarely did.

"Uh..." he hesitated. Serenity raised her eyebrows as if to say 'please,' and he smiled. "Sure."

Ren and the twins hooked arms and walked out of the door.

The parties in Gryffindor tower never really started until the twins got there. Sure there was food, but no one knew what to do until the party itself arrived. Fred, George, and Serenity walked in. People were standing around, nibbling on food, but no one was really doing much of anything.

Fred smiled. "Hey guys!" Everyone turned around and looked at him eagerly. "We're just going up to the room to get some... stuff."

The new trio ran up to the boys' dormitory. They went to the foot of their beds, while Ren looked around. "Hm, not bad. It's not that different from ours, actually..." she thought. Fred and George slammed their trunks and walked over to her.

She looked disapproving. "We'll need more."

Fred smiled. "Just what I was thinking."

George added, "Could you hold some? Our hands are full."

Serenity smiled and walked over to Fred's trunk. "Sure. How many Fizzing Whizbees and Canary Creams? Streamers? Confetti? all right, I think that's it..." She closed the trunk, which was pretty hard since her hands were now full too.

They got half way down and stopped. Kids looked up, eagerly wondering what this party was going to be like. The first years looked around clueless. The whole Gryffindor was there already.

Fred spoke. "Let's start this party!"

Everyone squealed and started jumping up and down. The trio sat their stuff down on the steps, and Ren grabbed the confetti. She opened up he large bag and carried it up to the top of the steps. "Long live Gryffindor!" she yelled, pouring the confetti out of the bag. It went EVERYWHERE. Younger kids squealed and the older ones laughed at the sight.

Fred got some Fizzing Whizbees and tossed them over the edge. A few of the students ran to the bottom of the steps and asked to buy some Canary Creams. They were always favored at Hogwarts. Ton-Tongue Toffees were probably the least liked. When everyone was through buying the twins' products, they ran the extras up to their room. They came back down and escorted Serenity back downstairs.

The rest of the party was loads of fun. Kids ran around. Couples snuggled. They ate and played games. It lasted until about 1 AM when McGonagall told them to go to sleep. The first and second years did as they were told, thought the older ones stayed. They partied for another hour after McGonagall left. That is, until she came back.

"Stop! This has gone on long enough! Clean up. The house elves would have a field day..." A few moved though others didn't. "Go to bed!" she yelled.

Almost everyone ran to their designated stairs. Oliver, Serenity, George, and two seventh years stayed to clean.

George picked up some Canary Creams that a few had left behind and not eaten. "All right, well, I'm going to bed," George said to Serenity.

"Goodnight."

"'Night."

A seventh year was up on the steps untwining the streamer and tossing it below. "Me too," he said when all of the streamer was on the ground.

Serenity was sweeping up a lot of the food and Canary Cream wrappers. The other seventh year, a girl, was wiping off the tables and washing them. Oliver was cleaning off the coffee tables that were littered. The seventh year left, walking tiredly to her room.

It took the two of them 15 more minutes to finally get the Common Room back to normal. They stood, looking around to make sure they hadn't missed anything. Serenity sighed and yawned. "Well, I'm heading to bed," she said.

Oliver walked over to her. "Shall I escort?"

"Hm. That would be nice."

He escorted her to the top of the stairs. "Thanks," she said. She looked up and was a mere few inches from her face. "Uh... good night," she managed.

He took her hands in his, and pulled her closer. "Goodnight," he whispered, and he kissed her. Serenity didn't know what to say, or if anything would come out. So she kissed him back. He put his arms around her waist and stepped closer, deepening the kiss. When they were through, he whispered in her ear, "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," she whispered back, and stepped into her room. He descended the stairs and went to his room. It was going to be a long night.
