It's sort of weird, I know, but hey, it's good...right?

For the Love of Snape!

Hermione walked out of the potions lab after what seemed like forever. She didn't exactly like what happened, but she didn't really despise it either. It wasn't the worst experience in her life. Nevertheless, she for sure she didn't want it to happen again. As she left the dungeons, she saw a blonde haired boy with his pale white faces waiting for her at the door. He stood there with his arms crossed, and a very sleek grin on his face.

"Hermione...I was expecting to see you here." He said slyly.

"Can it Malfoy!" Hermione was bound to punch him...if Snape hadn't shown up.

Malfoy's smile widened as Snape came towards them, "Hello, Professor," he looked at Hermione, "See you around." He turned to leave.

"Oh Draco...where do you think you're going?" Snape asked Malfoy.

If it was anyhow possible, Malfoy's face was turning to an even paler white. He looked almost like a ghost, except he wasn't see-through like all the others. Malfoy slowly turned around and faced Snape.

"T-to the G-Great Hall for b-breakfast, s-sir." Malfoy stuttered as if he were Professor Quarrel.

"I think not. Let's have a little chat in my office. Shall we?" Snape grabbed Malfoy's wrist and led him down the stairs. Malfoy looked back at Hermione and glared.

Hermione turned and headed toward the Great hall. Hoping she wouldn't see Harry and Ron there because she just wanted to be alone. She wanted everyone to leave her alone. Just for now. She changed her mind and headed toward the Gryffindor Common Room.

Snape threw Malfoy through the door and slammed it shut. He stared at the door for a minute and took a deep breath. Then he slowly turned around to face Malfoy.

"I don't know what gave you the idea to give out such a dare! A student and a teacher! This is going to go on my record! Her record too! My life is almost ruined alone, but you've just ruined hers!"

Malfoy was leaning far against one of the tables. He was scared; Snape could see it in his eyes. Behind Malfoy's eyes though, was his laughter. He was laughing hysterically, it was bubbling up inside of him. It was going to attempt to break free. Malfoy was not scared of Snape, but afraid that he may let the laughter go, and then get a real punishment.

"Malfoy! For this ridiculous action, even though I may be your Head of House, but I still will take points! Three hundred points will be taken from Slytherin, for stupidity and ridicule!"

"THREE HUNDRED!"

"DO YOU DARE TALK BACK TO ME? FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE, YOU SHOULD BE EXPELLED, BUT I'VE DECIDED OTHERWISE! YOU WILL HAVE DETENTION FOR THE REST OF THE SCHOOL YEAR! NOW GO!"

Malfoy ran out of the office, reluctantly. He had just cost his house three hundred points.

When they find out who cost them all the points...I'll for sure be dead.

Malfoy didn't want the blame for it all, so he created another story, to pin it all on that mudblood, Granger.

Hermione, luckily, didn't see anyone on the way to the common room. She stopped at the fat lady's picture to ready herself. She knew there would be many people in the common room. They would ask questions, and demand answers.

"Hippogriff," Hermione said to the portrait.

The portrait swung open and she crawled through the hole and stood. Many other Gryffindors were scattered around the room. Two, though, caught her eyes. Two boys were laying sprawled over two armchairs by the warm fire. They were obviously asleep. One had messy black hair, the other, bright red hair. She knew they had been there all night, waiting for her. She walked over to them and sat on the arm of Harry's chair.

Hermione brushed his bangs back slowly, over and over again. He stayed asleep, and motionless. She kissed his forehead, then Ron's and left for the girl's dormitory rooms.

Draco was running up the stairs three or four at a time. He was very upset, you could see it because his face was red hot with anger.

That stupid mudblood, Granger. She's going to be sorry she ever told him about me!

He thought.

Draco stopped at the top of the stairs before a portrait of a fat lady in a bushy pink dress.

Harry woke up to see that Ron was still asleep in his armchair. His mouth was hanging open. Harry's scar, rather than feeling a light, constant sting, felt cool and soothed. He reached up and touched it, it had a white, cream-like substance on it. Harry couldn't tell what it was.

"It's muggle medicine for cuts and burns," Hermione said as she came into view from behind Harry's chair, "Don't you know that?"

"No, the Dursleys never really gave me any medicine," Harry said smiling.

"Thank you for waiting for me," she said.

"Waiting for you? I was just resting by the fire and happened to fall asleep," Harry couldn't help laughing while he said this.

Harry looked toward the stairs to see Neville coming downstairs. He looked...nice.

"Hi, Harry," said Neville, "I was just going down to see Ginny," he turned red suddenly, "I'm going to ask her out."

"Really?" asked Harry.

"I think you two will make a great couple," Hermione said nudging Harry in the stomach.

Neville blushed and left.

"Oh, Hermione?" said Harry, "Your welcome."

"Let me in you fat hag!" Draco yelled.

"No password, no entry," the portrait said.

I'll just wait until someone comes out. That's what I'll do then.

Draco thought.

"Fine!" He said, and turned to wait by a suit of armor.

Draco had found some old Gryffindor robes in a closet, and put them on. The fat lady didn't know the difference.

Suddenly, the portrait flew open and Neville walked out. Draco quickly slipped in and waited in the portrait hole. He saw two people talking by the roaring fire.

Neville walked out of the portrait hole and started down the many flights of stairs. He took the stairs two at a time, being sure to miss the trick stair Peeves put out. He felt better than ever. He had on his dress robes and his hair was flattened nicely.

He emerged at the end of the stairs and turned toward the Great Hall, where Ginny was waiting for him.

"So, when will you know?" Harry asked.

"Know what?" Hermione said confused.

"How long will you have to wait until you find out if you...you know...pregnant?" Harry stuttered.

Hermione laughed, "I'll have to wait until I get back home. I'm going to test myself the muggle way."

"Oh, okay. I just figured there's a spell or something you could do to find out."

"No, Harry, we're not old enough to do that kind of magic. Besides, this is going to be a secret. I'm not letting doctors doing it. I would be in the paper within hours."

"You're right. You probably won't be. I mean, never mind," Harry stopped.

"It's okay, Harry, I know what you mean," she smiled.

Then Harry and Hermione heard footsteps coming from the entrance. They were slow and angry stomps. As they watched, the person emerged from the dark. They saw his bleach blonde hair and very red face.

Neville walked between the tables and met Ginny near the end of the Gryffindor table. To him, she looked even more beautiful today then ever. He walked up and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and looked at him.

"Neville! You look...nice!" she said surprised.

"Thanks," he said, "I wanted to see you here because I wanted to ask you something."

"Of course, Neville, what is it?" Ginny asked.

"I was wondering...well, I was...well...um," he didn't seem to be able to say it.

"Neville? Is something wrong? You're awfully pink," she said worried.

"No, I'm fine...it's just...I was wondering...if you would....well,...be my girlfriend?" Neville finally said as he turned extremely red.

"Oh, Neville," she said, "I'm so sorry! I'm already seeing someone. I'm sorry."

Neville's hopeful smile faded almost immediately and replaced by a frown.

"Oh...I'll just...leave...then," he turned and started out the door.

"Neville! Wait! Neville!" Ginny yelled, but he ignored her.

He walked out of the doors of the Great Hall and broke into a fun. He ran up the stairs, tripping every so often. He ran faster and faster with every second, it seemed. He did not cry, because he was angry. He was angry at himself for not taking the chance to ask her sooner. He came to the portrait and fiercely said the password. She swung forward and let him in. He stopped immediately at what he saw.

"Draco!" Hermione said, standing up, "You can't be in here!"

"SHUT UP! JUST BE QUIET!" Malfoy snarled.

Hermione stepped back, startled. Harry stepped in front of her and spread his arms out. He seemed to know exactly what Malfoy wanted.

"Get out, Malfoy," Harry said boldly.

"DON'T GET IN MY WAY POTTER!" Malfoy said as he continued to step closer, "YOU CAN'T PROTECT HER FOREVER!" Draco then whipped out his wand.

Neville could see Draco threatening Harry and Hermione. He quickly turned and left. He headed straight for McGonnagle's office. He ran faster than before. He searched and found McGonnagle's in her office, as he hoped.

"Professor!" he screamed, "Draco Malfoy, in the common room!"

She looked up. There was terror, worry, and anger in her eyes. She came from behind her desk and grabbed Neville's wrist and ran out of the door toward the common room, dragging Neville behind her.

~888~

"NO ONE HERE TO SAVE YOU KNOW, POTTER! NO TEACHERS TO STOP ME, OR STUDENTS TO TELL ON ME!" Draco howled grinning.

"Draco...l-let's...talk..about t-this," Hermione stuttered.

Draco lowered his voice in order to not draw attention to anyone outside the common room.

"No, you've cost me my evenings, my house cup, and when my father finds out, my life," he said.

"Please, Draco, I'll tell them to give you back the house points, and I'll ask them not to tell your father," Hermione pleaded.

"I don't want to make any deals with you, Granger. I want my revenge!" Draco now had his wand out and pointed straight at Hermione, "Accio Hermione!" Draco yelled.

Hermione whooshed toward Draco. Draco caught her, turned her around, and pointed his wand at her back. He had his are around her neck.

"Don't even think of following me, Potter, or else," Draco turned around and threw Hermione at the entrance.
