Chapter twenty-one

Pansy had given it a few days to let Draco decide what he wanted to do about Potter. Now, she was standing outside his door and couldn't wait to find out what had happened. Was there a chance that Draco was gay? What had he decided to do about Potter? Would it really be possible for the two of them to get together? Pansy didn't know but she was dying to find out.

"Hi, Pansy," Draco said as he opened the door.

Before she even got into the room, she asked, "So, what did you decide? About Potter, I mean. Did you decide to give it a go or...?"

"God, Pansy, don't you even want to get into the room before the interrogation starts?"

Pansy laughed and then said, "But I am DYING to know. Come on, tell me. You know you want to."

Draco and Pansy walked over to the couch and sat down. As soon as they were comfortable, Draco began telling Pansy what had happened.

"Well, I decided to take your advice and give Harry a chance."

"You did?" squealed Pansy in excitement. "Well, what happened? I want every detail."

"I had him come to my room; we sat on the couch, and he began apologizing for having upset me. Then, I told him it wasn't him touching me that had upset me it was..."

Pansy interrupted, "WHAT?! I don't remember you saying he had touched you. When? Where?"

"The day you came over and I was so upset; Harry had let me use his Firebolt. I had gone flying, when I landed, that's when Harry told me he was gay and stroked my face.

"Right, so anyway, Harry was apologizing for having tried to touch me, and then I told him that wasn't the problem. I just didn't like people touching my... scars... and that's what had upset me.

"Then, he said, 'I only see you, not the scars."

"Awwwww!" Pansy cried, "How sweet!"

"Uh, yeah, it was... and then... I leaned over and kissed him."

"OH MY GOD!" Pansy exclaimed excitedly.

"Then, we kissed a few more times." Draco blushed.

"Wow! So, I can see you did take my advice," said Pansy, laughing. "So... what did you think? Do you think you're gay, bi, or straight? Do you think that you would want to have a relationship with Potter?"

"Well, when I kissed Harry, it wasn't like when I had kissed girls before. This time I wasn't kissing Harry because I wanted something; I was kissing him because I FELT something, if you know what I mean."

"Draco, honey, that's wonderful! So you really think you could fall for Potter?"

Draco thought about it and replied, "It's so difficult to know what I'm actually feeling. I know I like Harry; I find him interesting and funny. I liked kissing him. I do feel SOMETHING for him, something I haven't felt before. Is it love? I don't know; we'll have to see. Maybe it's the beginning of love."
