- Hmm. Hope you love it! If you don't love it... Too bad!
((Author note: Whee! I'm all excited! Hehe. There's lots of snow outside, like... 3 feet. It's enthralling... I'm just blissfully unaware and I'll just sit there... Staring at the snow for hours. So. The snows affected me, mebbe it's not so terrible, eh? Ok... umm... so... umm... yeah... heh))

Harry Potter sat on a bench, on the Hogwarts grounds. He contemplated the idea of new students at Hogwarts. Recently, Prof. Dumbledore had joined a schooling link program that had transfer students throughout the year. His decided date was today, several new students were to enter the school on this night. A rather uneventful night to choose, but it would be eventful due to the arrivals. His fingers intertwined with those of Cho Chang as they snuggled amidst the upcoming blizzard. It was ongoing, having snowed for days straight and the snow was in the least, 3 feet.
Cho shivered and snuggled her hair of raven into Harry's shoulder, as sort of a signal for them to go in. Seriously, what had he been thinking? They'd sat there for hours, in the snow and she wanted to break up with him. Gossip was, a few hot new transfers were to arrive and she wanted first picks! Hopefully, she waited for him to float out of his ignorance and bring her into the school.

Outside of Lyre Academy the snow was very little, at the max a centimeter or two, barely coating the frozen ground. Menysa Brooke, the 6th year prefect strolled down an icy pathway with her recent *face* Canis Malfoy, whom she had allowed to escort her just to keep her name high on the social list. The 7th year boy was a star, bloody brilliant, with a father as an auror and a mother as a Quidditch announcer, he had been asked to join several Quidditch teams and was bent on making himself a name better than that of Viktor Krum, the idle, imbecilic Durmstrang graduate and star Quidditch player, oh please. Menysa flicked back several strands of long, silvery blonde hair and glared at several transferring 4th years.
"Oh pease. Yike zees Hadminastrators should be yaccepting you into zair fine schools. Youz are hunverthy bums oo should go yack to zair fyee hridden shacks!" Menysa screamed in a high-pitched voice, which was barely audible and stomped off towards the Hogwarts Express. The veela was almost irresistible but her current *boyfriend* saw through the stunning exterior to gaze with disdain upon the loathsome interior.
"Menysa, I am sick of playing your childish games and putting up with your ill-deserving, superior, ego-inflated, bitchy, no good, son-of-a-bitch, pompous--" as soon as Canis had begun spewing his colorful string of insults, the Asst. Headmaster placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Well, Malfoy, there is no need for this. Go sit in a compartment by yourself." Menysa giggled quietly and as soon as they had left, she masked her mirth with a face of tragedy and was rendered defenseless to a cascade of silvery tears.
Canis growled and narrowed his eyes, he shook his head and tucked his silvery blonde hair behind his ears and sneered. His eyes nearly froze over the students in silvery fear. Both his hair and his sneer were a Malfoy trademark, but Canis was only a distant cousin his family changing their names to resume the Malfoy status. Canis was quite pleased to have the thought of finally meeting his cousin and deviousness lit up his silvery violet gaze and he sat down in a compartment next to a 5th year girl.
Narima Dana sat by herself, reading in a compartment. Her green eyes scanned the words through thin violet-lense spectacles and her long strawberry blonde bangs got in the way of her focus. She snorted a few times, delighted by the book's authenticity upon discussing vampires and mermaid, clashing when someone entered her compartment. Slyly he sat across from her and leaned across the table.
"Yo", Canis spoke idiotically, hoping to get the girls attention, but he faltered. Still he attempted and his results were devoid of any hope of contact.
"C'mon yo, chick. Talk to me baby."
"Baby...?" Narima looked up, her eyes scanning him, repulsed. "I have no interest in toying with those not worthy of toying with. It seems, Mr. Malfoy, that your intelligence and intellect have lowered considerably since your outstanding levels on the O.W.L.s, seeing as though your dialect is meager and pitiful and that of a *gangster* or whatever you people prefer to call yourselves."
Canis snickered to himself, and rubbed his hands together. "Homie, they aint no reason for youse to be fronting. Aint no need to trip, we in the same hood. Bouts to be repping the same fams yo! Me schoola you schoola! Aint no need to trip baby g, all you needa do is chillaxe." Canis smirked at the shocked look Narima wore and mirth was evident in his eyes. The bookish girl store at him, mouth wide, resembling a hooked fish. "Oh please. As if I would really stoop to the level of those transcending my own. My intelligence has not diminished one bit, lest I have gone through immense changes that were not present or even significant enough to be noted by others or myself. How do you know my name anyway?"
"I'm Narima, just in case you wanted to know. Not that you would even consider paying any attention to me. I'm just the brainy girl. Nope ignore me. Everyone knows you." Narima looked up to him squeamishly, queasy that he had neither not known his fame or was actually humble and blushed either way. He raised an eyebrow and leaned back against the leather cushions. Remarkably, the talked intelligently for hours before the train ride was over, and surprisingly enough, their conversation was pleasant. The Irish-Dutch girl had a pure, clean mix of blood, resulting in beautiful strawberry blonde tresses that were hidden in gruesome ponytails. Narima was the classic geek. She was adorned in sets of freckles on her nose, had braces, glasses, fuzzy geek hair, in a weird style and wore the most terrible clothes. It wasn't even as if she was in the condition of the Weasley's. Her family had quite the loot; she just never had any desire to look good for anyone since it was hopeless. The girl watched hopefully as Canis walked away, gaining the status of a jock and ignorant boy and she watched desperately as he ignored her, to meet up with popular 7th years. The train finally halted, it had been slowing for a few minutes and she heard a voice before getting off of the train.
"Yo Narima! I'll check ya later babe!", Canis shouted to her and Narima melted with joy as numerous flocking flakes spoke inquisitively to the Malfoy.

Harry walked with Cho to the school wherein their breakup was quick and painful. Angry, but already knowing, the boy pushed her, face-first into the snow. She screamed, a mix of shock, anger and pain and ran into the school, tears pouring down her red, snow-covered cheeks. Harry carried himself up to the Gryffindor house and the 15 year old boy lay down on a couch to take a nap in the dormitory until the arrival of the new school, which undoubtedly would be soon, possibly, now.
