Author's Note:
I know this chapter is really short, but I just didn't want to put down the whole life story of Damien, and I'm sure it wasn't very interesting either. So just read this, review please, and then look out for more of my stories.

Lucius Malfoy paced around his office for a while as he muttered to himself. Every once in a while he would stop to glance at the pictures on the walls of his family. Formal pictures taken throughout all of their lives. Draco's life was well documented in these photos. Not that there was much to document. He had been brought up in a very strict manner without much variation.

A knock at Lucius's study sounded throughout the room and he stopped in his tracks, looking up at the door from which the sound came. A female voice from the other side came and called to him.

"Lucius, come to dinner. It's getting cold," Narcissa called from the other side of the door.

"I'm not hungry," he called back.

The door opened and Narcissa stood in the doorway with her arms crossed in front of her chest and a very sad, tired look on her face. She looked at her husband through her life-worn eyes.

"Draco knowing about Damien isn't much of a reason for worry, Lucius," Narcissa said softly.

"But it still troubles me. What if the boy brings Damien here? What would he say? What would he do?"

Narcissa sighed and walked into the study slowly. She walked up to Lucius and put a hand up to his cheek, rubbing it softly like she used to do in their early years of marriage. Lucius seemed to almost enjoy this action.

"Damien and Draco are already here," Narcissa muttereed as she reached up and kissed Lucius softly on the cheek.

Lucius watched his wife walk away with a look of shock on his face. He muttered a few unmentionables just as two identical looking adults walked into the room. Draco walked over to his father and gave him a slight smile. Damien stood near the doorway looking at Lucius.

"Father," Damien said as he walked over to Lucius, enveloping him in a tight embrace. Lucius stood there, not knowing what to do as the son he never knew hugged him. He was not used to this kind of affection.

Damien pulled back and looked at his father for the first time in his life. The father he had grown up to not know. It was akward for a few moments as the three men stood in the room, none sure of what to do.

Draco went and sat down in a chair across the room and leaned back, looking up at the ceiling and then the back of his eyelids as he closed his eyes. He heard a voice like his own talking and then his father's. He sat and listened to them talk for hours as they caught up with each other's lives. Draco didn't feel compelled to join in. He wanted to listen to them talk and hear their stories. He wanted to know everything he could about Damien.

By well past nightfall, Draco found himself sitting at home on the couch with the fire from th fireplace dancing in his eyes. He watched the flame flicker wildly as it rose up into the chimney.

Ginny was not home. She was with her mother at the Burrow, spending time together. She so rarely got to see her mother anymore. There was always something going on in Ginny's life, and it kept her away from her family.

The fire had long died out when Ginny came walking through the front door of the apartment. She saw Draco sitting on the couch asleep and stopped to file the image into memory. The way Draco slept told Ginny that he had had a stressful day and she couldn't blame him. If she were to bring a long lost sibling home for her parents to meet, she would have been stressed as well.

"Are you just going to stand there and stare?" Ginny hadn't even noticed that Draco had been awake until he had said something. She jumped a little and then put a hand over her heart.

"You startled me. You know how much I hate that," Ginny said as she bent down to pick up the keys that she had dropped.

"I'm sorry, Love," Draco said as he stretched his arms above his head. "How was your visit with your mother?"

"It's always good to see Mum. The twins were there as well and you know how that can get."

Draco smiled as Ginny came over and sat down on his lap, wrapping her amrs around his neck and giving him a kiss that told him she had missed being in his company. They continued to kiss for a few lingering minutes before parting to gaze at each other.

"You get more beautiful every day," Draco said.

Ginny blushed and ran a hand through his silky soft hair. In the dim light of the glowing embers Draco looked almost like a ghost. But the fire and intensity she felt from his piercing grey eyes told her otherwise.

"What time is it?" Draco asked as he searched for a clock through the darkness.

"Time for you to kiss me again."

Draco nodded and leaned up to kiss Ginny again. She responded as Draco knew she would; with just as much intensity as he had put into the kiss. It wasn't much longer before they found themselves hurrying into the other room, shedding clothes as they went. The minutes passed into hours before the long night came to its end in a tangle of sheets and skin.

This was the part about Ginny that Draco liked the most. He knew that he could count on her to be there for him when he needed it and vice versa. They both knew each other so well.

"Sleep well," Ginny muttered as she closed her eyes and succumbed to the blackness that was sleep.

Draco kissed her shoulder and laid his head down on her pillow with one arm slung protectively over her back. Never agan would he ever let something as small as a simple mix-up of identity get between he and his precious wife. Their relationship was worth more than that. Ginny was worth more than that. Love was worth more than that.
