That something had been missing

I didn't know what to do

Days would pass me by

Each as lonely as the other

Until I met you

All my life, I have known that I have everything, but when I started feeling this certain thing towards you, I came to realize that I don't have everything. Days would pass by that there was a void in my life; that something was missing. Then you came, and I had you, and I never felt so complete like this before.

The time came that I had to face my father. I had to tell him about you, how I feel towards you, and he didn't take it well. I had to endure all the punishment that he gave me, and disowning me in the end, still feeling lucky that he hadn't killed me.

Returning back to Hogwarts having nothing except the ragged clothes that I am wearing, never in my life have I felt so low, like I am a worthless human being.

Entering my room, it is you who I first see, looking at me expectantly. Your lips quiver, unsure whether to smile or not. It is then I have another one of my realizations: I may not have all those earthly things my father took away from me, but I have you; I have everything. It doesn't even measure up to anything my father could give. You are worth it.

I give you a wide smile, emanating from my heart, and ran to you with open arms, holding you, whispering to you my endless love and forever thanks.

It would never be the same again

In the morning, I wake up, and seeing you right beside me makes me feel so special. Everyday I wake up with new hope in my heart, making me strong enough to face what the world will bring. Everything will be different from what I am used to, but for you, I can do this, I will do this.

Looking ahead I see

The two of us together

You're so dear to me

And it isn't any wonder

Why I love you so

As I face my worst nightmare, as I battle with my enemy at a point in time that I am physically and magically drained and can hear the cruel laughter from not far beyond, as I lay on the ground, I feel hopeless.

My thoughts have wandered to many memories of the past, so many of them that I cannot even see it clearly and reminisce of the feeling that it brought. But from all those flashes of memories of my past, a silver lining gave me a glimpse of a certain future, the only flash of future, and it is with you; a future that could only be true if I win this fight.

Slowly, I stand up, holding firmly to my wand and holding to my dear life for the future that I have seen. And not for the first time, I am saved again because of love; I have won the fight. Out of exhaustion, I kneel down. That is when I see you come to me, running towards me, and in this moment, I see a very tangible evidence of my future, the present with the man that I love.

Everyday, as I go to sleep having you by my side, I know that I will never be alone again; that as the sun sets, you have given me a reason to smile and cast my fears away. Everything will be very different from my past, but with you, everything will be easy.

I feel this love is real

I see it in your eyes

You take my hand and I understand

You are mine, You are mine

We sleep and wake up with limbs entangled and hands entwined. As we both open our eyes, we see the beautiful smiles of our hearts. Today is our graduation day, we made it, and as our school ends, another life will start. We were able to make it through all the problems and hindrances that were thrown to us, we were able to fight them and emerge victorious.

We whisper our 'I love you's, words we first say when we wake up, we lean in and capture each other's lips, a simple, passionate gesture that awakens all of our being. Slowly, we move much closer to each other, closing all the possible space between us. Our hands roam, our legs lift, we create a beautiful rhythm, we give and take, we take and give and at the end of all these, we scream each other's names, marking us, branding us, that we are each other's own.

Now that I have you

We say our goodbyes to our friends, whispering words of luck and promising to keep in touch. We can't help but be surprised and relieved at how welcoming they are with our relationship when they know about us. Maybe we have thought of so little of them.

We finish putting our things in our trunks, and, being the last to leave the castle, we agree on roaming the grounds a little bit; going back to places that we have shared together. We go to places that remind us of our laughs, countless tears, terrible or petty fights, but most of all love, and we realize how meaningful our lives become since we got together.

Hand in hand, we stride the long corridors of Hogwarts towards the Great Hall, towards the doors that will lead us to a new life. With our free hands, we push the doors, swinging them open wide, looking at the world outside. Yes, we will live in a brighter world, as bright as the sun, with sweet melodies, with all the best things this whole new world has to offer, all because we have each other.

"Ready, Harry?"

"Never been more ready in my whole life. How about you, Draco?"

"I am, we're together aren't we?"
