"Onward too the future"

It was a breezy summer day and yet again sixteen-year-old Cho Chang could be seen laying in her bed and watching Muggle soap operas and eating bon bons. Just then her mother came in.

"Cho what are you doing still laying there, eating food, and watching trashy television shows?"

"Mum! I'm taking a mental health day."

"Mental health day? You've been like this for all of summer! Now I understand the pain, but you need to move on with your life, nobody ever achieved great things while they were looking back on the past."

Cho was thinking about that one very thing. Maybe she didn't want to go forward and achieve something great. Maybe her whole life was doomed to be boyfriend after boyfriend after boyfriend until she ended up working at a place called " the naked flamingo" earning dollars for doing "naughty things" while her boyfriend at the time was taking care of her six children. No! That could never possibly happen, "The naked flamingo" wasn't catchy enough.

"Hunny, I just came in here to tell you that Cedric's funeral will be Saturday, and your father and I must go, after all, his parents are our best friends, and we aren't pushing you to go or anything, but maybe you should, it could help you move on."

"Alright, I'll go"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saturday arrived and Cho was less than thrilled to get up and actually get dressed for the day. She chose to wear Muggle clothes, a long black skirt, and black peasant shirt, and black dress shoes. This was not going to be a happy day, and Cho didn't need telling twice. It was going to be horrible to face all her friends form Hogwarts and horrible to face Harry. She knew, already that Harry would be there. After all, it was he that followed out Cedric's last requests, and it was he who had been there to see him die.
Cho could feel the tears welling up in her eyes when she saw it, the coffin. Luckily it was not open. She doubted that she could take it, if it was open. Then, she saw him, and knowing he should have been there, and realizing it wasn't like him to be at something like this and for Cedric too, she went over to talk to him. To talk to Draco.
"Why are you here?" she asked him.
"Why not, I grew up with him too, remember?"
"No, the Draco that grew up with Cedric and I was kind and funny, and light-hearted, the Draco that I grew up with couldn't sleep without his blankie and would yell at kids that ever called me names in the playground. Now you don't seem to fit that description now do you?" she spat at him, and surprisingly, he looked hurt, but that may have just been the fact that they were at a funeral.
"Cho, you're not being fair! When Hogwarts happened, and I was sorted into Slytherin, my father couldn't have been more proud, and all I wanted to do was make him proud. So, I gave up the Draco that was and became me. "
"What? The Draco that always has something mean to say and doesn't care what people think or feel?" now she couldn't help it, she was crying more violently. She couldn't help remembering a little pale faced, blonde haired boy. When she was six and he was five, and some kid at picked on her in the sandbox, had called them "meanie poos" and shoved sand at them. She couldn't believe this was the same boy, the very same that had cried hours on end, because Cedric had hidden his favorite broomstick in a closet, when he was eight. He had changed so much, but he still had a hint of that little kid left in him, waiting to come out, she just knew it.
