Hermione woke up the next morning at around six. She went downstairs into the kitchen and poured herself a cup of tea. She stared out the window.

The manor sat on a hill at the top of a wizarding community. Hermione stared at all of the tiny cottages at the bottom of the hill. She saw many witches and wizards leaving their houses to head to work.

After about and hour of just staring out the window, doing absolutely nothing, Hermione went back upstairs to wake up Harry and Draco.

Hermione walked into Harry's room, knowing it would be easier to wake up Harry than it would be to wake up Draco.

She gently shook Harry's shoulder. Her eleven year old son rolled over and whined, "C'mon, Mum, only ten more minutes. I was about to catch the Snitch."

He's so much like his father. "Well, "Hermione said. "This game has been called on account of breakfast."

Harry was still not persuaded. He buried his face in his pillow and pulled the covers close to his chin.

Hermione yanked the blankets off of him and waved her wand at the window. The shade snapped up, letting sunlight shine through the window.

Harry immediately covered his eyes, shivered, and cried as though he were melting.

"If you get up, I'll make whatever you want for breakfast," Hermione bribed her son.

"Bacon and Eggs?" Harry requested.

Hermione frowned. Bacon was very fatty and not very healthy, but she nodded. "Fine," she said angrily.

Harry literally rolled out of bed onto the hard wood floor, banging his head on the floor and moaning and groaning in pain. Hermione rolled her eyes and left to wake up Draco.

When Hermione reached their room, she found Draco sprawled out across the bed, the blankets at the end of the bed.

Hermione had learnt years ago that there were only two ways to wake up her husband. One of which was R-rated, and too risky in the house of an eleven-year old.

Hermione conjured up a bucket of water and threw it on Draco.

He immediately screamed, sat upright, and yelled, "Is this a punishment for what happened last night?"

"No, I forgive you," Hermione said, kissing him lightly on the cheek.

"Wait, I should be the one forgiving you," Draco corrected her.

"Excuse me?" Hermione said. "I did absolutely nothing wrong."

"You started the fight," Draco reminded her.

"Ladies do not start the fight," Hermione said. "But they can finish them."

Draco lazily rolled his eyes. "Now," Hermione continued, "I'm going to make breakfast."

"Let the house elves do it," Draco begged, grabbing her arm.

"I promised Harry I'd make him breakfast," Hermione told him, pulling her arm out of his reach.

"But I love you..."

"And I love you," Hermione said sweetly. "But our son loves eggs and bacon."

"I thought bacon was too fatty," Draco mocked her.

"It's not too fatty when it comes to getting Harry away from a Quidditch game," Hermione said.

"He was playing Quidditch?"

"No," Hermione said, surprised by her husband's stupidity. "But I'm sure it won't be long..." Hermione left the room and went downstairs to prepare breakfast.
