Author's Note:
This is my first story to ever be on the internet. Wootness!

Four witches and wizards came together to start a school. A place where students and teachers alike learn to control their magic. A place where anyone feels safe, like they belong, and almost never want to leave. But they had their differences. Instead of letting that destroy their dreams, they put it into their own use. However, these four magical humans were not normal.

Godric Gryffindor valued courage, daring, nerve, and chivalry. He wanted students with those qualities into his house. His animagus form was a lion, so it made sense for his mascot to be a lion. He loved his animal form, mainly because he can show how brave and strong he can be. He loved how his coat shined near light or fire, his element that he controlled. His favorite colors were scarlet and cold, like fire.

Helga Hufflepuff wanted those of hard work, loyalty, tolerance, and fair play above all else. Her animagus form and her mascot of choice for her house was a badger. She loved to dig around and learn more about plants and animals she would find. Her favorite colors were canary yellow and black. She was in love with plants and worked well with the element of earth, the elements she controlled.

Rowena Ravenclaw was attached to students with intelligence, creativity, wit, and wisdom. She had a motto that she would always say. "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure." Her form was that of an eagle. She loved the colors blue and bronze. She loved to fly when she got bored. She loved the wind, her element, in her face and how it went between her feathers. She always wanted her dormitories for her house to have a spectacular view of the mountains. She had her diadem with her always because she believed it gave her good luck.

Salazar Slytherin was ambitious, cunning, resourceful, and a pure blood. He thought that nothing more would please him than some students who were as greedy as he was. He saw that only pure bloods were worthy enough to be in the school, let

alone his house. His animal form was a serpent, and his favorite colors were green and silver. He roughly corresponds to water, especially when he glides in lakes and streams.

They brought their ideas together and made the school using their magic and elements. They worked together for several months.

They mapped out where the dorms would be, where the classrooms were to be, and how the Great Hall would look. They planned the school out down to the last details. They used their special elements to make their dorms. They have also made secret rooms in which only they can open.

When time came to announce that they were finished with the school, Salazar wasn't happy with how every witch and wizard would be allowed to come to the place.

"It isn't right for those who are muggle born to come. They know nothing about our world, and it should stay that way," Slytherin argued while standing up from his chair. His sheer blonde hair was in his dark blue eyes, but he wasn't minding that at the moment. Not when there are important issues to discuss.

"But if we shun the, then the wizard popularity will die out. We need those muggles and muggleborns to stay alive," Gryffindor argued back. "We will be dying out unless we make more children. We have already tried to get men to marry muggle women and for women to have children."

"Godric, we women are doing the best we can," Ravenclaw said as she pointed to her extended belly. She was expecting soon and she wasn't in a very good mood. Her short black hair was going every which way but she did try to keep it out of her green eyes.

She is so young, almost too young, to have a child. But thank God she is, none the less, Hufflepuff thought as she stared at her pale skin. She was almost transparent compared to her other friends. She spent a lot of time underground the past few months, especially under the lake. That was where Salazar wanted his house dorms to be.

She must have stared off because then Slytherin agreed to letting muggle borns and half bloods in. She thought that secretly he doesn't want to but had to give in because of Ravenclaw's hard breathing. She does this when she feels panicked, so people stop fighting. It works every time.

And, sure enough, as Slytherin agreed, her breathing slowed. But then the strangest thing happened. Something that would change the whole world.

Rowena looked as if someone hit her on the back of her head. She was turning white and she was hardly breathing. The trio went to her side as she sat frozen. No one knew what was happening.

"What's wrong? What's wrong with her," Helga asked hysterically. She has never seen her best friend in this state before. She felt hopeless and she didn't know what to do.

"There is only one reasonable explanation for this," Salazar exclaimed after fully examining her. "She is seeing a vision. It has to be. I have seen this lots of times. She is a Seer after all," Salazar said coolly as he looked at Ravenclaw.

Godric look as if he had lost his mind. "What do you mean 'having a vision'? About what?!"

"If you will just calm down, we will know in a second," Slytherin replied cooly. That was what Helga liked about him. He was cool and put together while pressure gives way. It's almost as if he never really cares about anything.

Godric was about to argue when they heard Rowena come back from her trance. They took a step back so they could give her some room. "What did you see?" asked Godric. He didn't believe it himself but apparently Salazar was right because she started on her story.

"I was in the castle thousands of years from today. I saw that our school was under attack by a man with great power and a big army. He was looking for something in the castle. He attacked anyone in his way. It was a boy he found. A young man with black hair and glasses. I think this person wanted him dead. But then there were four others with him, and-"

She stopped for a minute, looking as if she was trying to put together what she is trying to say next. She pushed her

"Yes? Yes? Go on," Helga said. This must be really bad if she can't say it, she thought. But the next part shocked everyone listening.

"They looked like us, had the element powers like us, even takes form of the same animals as we do. They used their powers against the man, and fought him with their bare hands. They were doing everything they could to protect the boy. I think they are our decedents." Rowena finished her story and looked at others.

Helga was shaken, Godric shuddered, but Salazar paced back and forth. "You say this man was looking for this boy, correct?" he asked Ravenclaw.

"Yes. It was so strange. It's almost as if nothing else mattered to him but to kill the boy."

"Well, did he?"

"I'm not sure. That was when I awoke from this nightmare. Everywhere I looked was a bloody mess. Animals attacking others. Wizards fighting each other. It was madness I tell you!" she shrieked. She was going hysterical at this point and tried to breathe easily but she was still shaken by this "vision".

"If these "guardians" are our descendants, and if they are trying to save the world, then we need to make sure this comes true. It's the only way we can save the lives of those in hundreds, even thousands of years later."

"Oh?" Godric asked. "And how do you think that will happen? We can't control the future."

"Yes you can. I can get Rowena to make a prophecy and make sure she is specific about it. We will save our people," Salazar said as he grabbed an orb from his bag. He sat beside Rowena and, soon enough, she has made her a prophecy.

"Descendants of the Four Founders of Hogwarts will protect a boy from an all powerful enemy. The boy will live to defeat this wizard. He will be killed twice by these man but not dead. He will be protected. The guardians shall be our descendants. They will have our forms and powers. They will work together and become one to save the wizarding world as well as the boy. We will call them to battle when time comes. They will become.... The Guardians of the Elements!"

You done? Good. Tell me what you think. If it needs improvement, tell me what I can do to make it better. If I am doing a good job, let me know how I am.
