Dedicated to Mils and Drea. Yes, I know I horribly butchered your characters from Ootf. Feel free to maim me. This started out as a smut!bunny but quickly for some odd, throiding reason turned dark.

"Shhhh," he said as he produced a bowl of warm sugary syrup and brought it over to the bed. The other male laying on the bed squirmed as the liquid was dropped onto their skin. A finger smeared the sticky substance was over the other's spine.

Ernie sat on Justin's upper thighs looking at his best mate's naked back. "I always wanted to do this to Milli--"

"No, don't say it. You promised not to talk about her." Justin looked over his shoulder at Ernie. He didn't want to hear anything about her, right now.

"Is there any wine, left?" Ernie sighed, "She wouldn't let me do this because of how long--her hair."

Justin turned his head back around. "You're drunk."

"I am not!" Ernie smiled as he scooted down the boy's legs. He pressed his lips into the sweet liquid and let his tongue swipe up Justin's spine.

"I don't know why I agreed to this," the dark-haired boy muttered. "Aren't we both straight?"

"You're trying to help me forget her."

Justin fidgeted more as Ernie raked his fingers down his back. "Don't, that tickles!"

"Shhhh," Ernie slid his tongue farther up Justin's back. If he wanted to get the last of the syrup he would have to move. He placed his hands on either side of Justin and pulled himself up.

Justin froze when he felt something pressing against the back of his thigh. He didn't know what it was and he didn't want to know why it was there. He shuddered as Ernie lapped at the sticky liquid.

Justin closed his eyes. This whole ordeal was finished with now--until Ernie bit his shoulder.

"Ow! Why did you do that?"

"Don't you like pain?" Ernie whispered as he pressed a kiss to the flesh that now had teeth marks marring it.

"Get off of me Ernie. You're drunk." Justin said.

Ernie sighed and stopped kissing the area he bit. "It's kind of nice here."

"I'm seeing her," Justin said. He hoped that would be enough to get the tipsy Head Boy off him.

"You--you--YOU'RE WHAT?" Ernie rolled off Justin and stared at him with wide eyes.

Justin pushed himself up and grabbed his shirt from where he had dropped it. He pulled the shirt back over his head. "I'm seeing her. I'm seeing Millicent."

He stood and walked over to the door leaving Ernie to lay on his bed. Justin left the room, while Ernie stared up at the ceiling.

Millicent was standing outside one of the greenhouses after class waiting for Justin to finish talking to his Head of House when Ernie found her. She didn't protest as the boy practically dragged her to a unused storage shed. Millicent knew this would happen. As Justin and her were lying in her bed last night, he had told her everything that had happened with Ernie the night before.

Justin had told Ernie that he was seeing his old girlfriend. Millicent knew how jealous Ernie was of any male who showed the slightest interest in her.

It wasn't surprising as she felt his lips on her neck. His hands lifting her onto a desk and finding her panties. It didn't even faze her that Ernie entered her roughly. She knew she would find herself crying out his name.

They clung to each other, breathless with foreheads pressed together. Sweat and the smell of sex covered them. Millicent kissed him, gently.

"You're mine," he growled.

Justin didn't blink as Millicent walked around the corner followed by Ernie. He sighed as he saw the bite marks on her neck and the way Ernie's hair was ruffled. He took Millicent's hand and kissed her cheek.

"Did you two have a nice chat?"

"You don't know what it was like to lie there on his bed," Justin said. "Letting him touch me like that and listening to the way he talks about you."

Millicent shook her head and crossed her arms over her chest. "I didn't tell you to act like Corner and get him drunk."

Justin stood up and looked at Millicent. "Act like Corner? I'm sorry my only addictions are comics, sugar, and--" He paused for a moment, "You."

"I'm sure there are other girls out there for you. What about Padma Patil?" Millicent looked out of the window the classroom. She sighed as Justin walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

They never knew. All this time they had been together and they never knew. They had never seen the black mark that tainted Millicent's arm. The hateful burnt flesh that marked her for an automatic death at the hands of a mad man bent on revenge. She had been one of them and they never knew. Justin and Ernie lay in his bed that night passing back and forth a bottle of Firewhiskey. Justin said that Ernie would need this come morning when the shock wore off.

The three of them had spent the last night before the battle broke out, together. They made love to each other and when both the males woke up that morning, they found her gone.

They didn't understand how she could just leave. Millicent had been sleeping between them. If she had disappeared during the night, she would have disturbed one of them.

Explosions rocked the castle walls and they found themselves in a middle of a Wizarding battle. After the smoke cleared and they had rounded up the stray Death Eaters, Dumbledore had appointed Ernie to take some of the prefects around identifying the dead.

Ernie was the one to take off Millicent's white mask. Justin, who had tagged along with his best mate, fell to his knees, beside her still body. At least they didn't have to see her lifeless eyes.

"Did she tell you the news?"

"What news?" Ernie croaked. His throat felt raw.

"She was pregnant."

"Millicent," Ernie whispered in a choked tone as he collapsed against Justin's naked back. Justin knew that word. It was the only name that Ernie knew how to say when he came.

Millicent, it was just a name. Although to the two friends, it was a lie. The most malicious lie that anyone could tell to another person. A phrase filled with deceit.

Soon after Justin started sobbing. The only words Ernie could say was, "There, there."

It was the only comfort they had since she was gone. Each other. It had been Ernie and Justin since they started Hogwarts. It would be Ernie and Justin when they finished.
