Love Scars
Ginny crept out of her room. Tears spilled onto her cheeks. She went to the coat closet and slipped on her black Nike pullover and tip-toed to the kitchen.
How did she get herself in this position? Why didn't she leave when she had the chance? Why did she stay with him... when she knew he would turn on her.
She took off the ring he gave her and set it on the counter before opening the fridge and taking out a bottle of water. She slipped it into her navy blue book-bag, and walked to the back door.
"I love you, Harry," she whispered.
"Then why are you leaving?"
She spun around, and saw him leaning against the door to the kitchen. "Harry, please just let me go!" she pleaded.
Harry smirked and walked towards her. He pulled out his wand and pointed it at the door and murmured something. The door turned to a brick wall. "No."
Ginny began to cry harder, then sat down at the table. "Harry, I love you, but I can't be with you! I cant, because you act like this! I have not freedom, no rights with you! I can't do this anymore! You don't let me do anything!"
"You're leaving me," Harry sighed, "for him. I can tell. You aren't leaving because you can't be with me. You were fine with me up until you met him! Then you try to escape every other night! I can't let you go!"
Ginny stood up, walked toward Harry, and slapped him hard across the cheek. "That's for all the pain you've caused me in the past year," she sobbed. She slapped him again. "That's for cheating on me." She slapped him again. "That's for not loving me, not matter how many times you say it."
She tried to slap him again, but he caught her wrist.
If only she was a witch!
He slapped her, and sighed. "Why must you do this? You're only bringing it on yourself! I wouldn't treat you this way if you'd give me a reason to trust you!"
"I give everything I have into this relationship, and yet I get nothing except a black eye and a bruise! I'm tired of this!" she screamed. She stomped off to her room, crying harder than she had ever cried before.
~~
NEXT MORNING:
Ginny awoke early the next morning, ready to go shopping. She was planning on meeting her best friend, Hermione Granger, there.
"Harry, I'm going shopping with Hermione. I'll be back in five hours," she called, running out the door. She ran to the Leaky Cauldron and went into the bar, then ran to the back to get into the Magic World.
"Hermione, Ron, Draco!" she called, spotting her friends in Diagon Alley. "I'm glad to see you!"
Ginny hugged her brother and Draco and shook Hermione's hand. For some reason, they had a strict unspoken policy not to hug each other, unless in emotional distress.
"Oh, I've missed you!"
"We have, too," Ron said, wrapping one arm around his sister and one arm around his girlfriend, Hermione. "How's Harry? Why isn't he here?"
Ginny scowled at the mention of Harry. "Ron, I have something to tell you." She sighed and walked into The Three Broomsticks. "Harry's become abusive to me."
Ron and Draco gasped, and Hermione closed her eyes. "I thought you said he stopped, though," Hermione said quietly.
"No. Harry found out I told you, and threatened me if I didn't tell you otherwise. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before, Ron. I was going to, but I told Hermione first." Ginny frowned and buried her head in Ron's shirt. "I tried to get away again last night, but he caught me before I left."
"I'll kill him!" Draco hissed. "I swear, I'll kill him! Has he ever actually hit you?"
Ginny nodded her head. "Just last night was the last time, but I slapped him three times before he hit me, so I guess we're even."
"Gin, don't think that! If he's hit you before, you aren't! You don't deserve to be abused," Hermione said softly. "Don't let him!"
"How am I supposed to prevent it?!" Ginny asked. "He's a wizard, remember?! The most powerful wizard on earth! I'm a Muggle! I can't stop him from doing anything!"
"I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!" Draco shouted.
Everyone stared at Draco questioningly, and he turned red.
"Sorry."
"Gin, if you want, I'll talk to him. I'm his best friend. Maybe I can calm him down," Ron suggested. "He might listen to me."
"I doubt it!" Ginny exclaimed. "I've called the Muggle police on him! I've even had him sent to Azkaban for awhile! Nothing is working so far! And I'm about ready to kill myself so I wont have to put up with him anymore!"
"Gin, don't do that!" Draco said without thinking. "I...we want you around!" He realized what he had said, and turned red again. "Sorry."
"Thanks for the concern," Ginny sighed, "but I don't think it'll help! I just want to get rid of him! Why can't he just...." Ginny didn't dare finish her sentence.
"Die?" Hermione finished for her. "Right now, I'd like him to, too."
Ron sighed. "I'll be right back. I have to talk to him. You three stay here."
"Ron, can I come with you?" Hermione asked.
"Sure. Draco, you keep an eye on Gin for me." Ron and Hermione walked up the Alley to the Leaky Cauldron, and Ginny and Draco sat down at the bar.
"I'll have a glass of butterbeer," Ginny ordered.
"I'll have the same," Draco said. "So, is everything else okay at home?"
"No, not really," Ginny sighed. "Harry IS what's happening at home. I have no life anymore! The most he'll let me do is see you guys, and he still hates you so that's not something he likes to go through."
"I would've thought he got over that by now," Draco said. "Oh, well, I'm sure Ron and Hermione will solve this whole mess." He took a sip of his drink and looked into Ginny's eyes. "I still don't know why he hates me."
"He thinks I'm in love with you," Ginny said quickly.
"Damn," Draco sighed. "He actually thinks that?"
Ginny nodded and took a big whiff of her butterbeer, then set it back down. "Draco, I...it's true. I am."
"What?"
"I'm in love with you, Draco. I have been for a long time."
"Really?"
"Yep. Sorry I didn't tell you before. I just didn't get up enough nerve before Harry started acting like this, and now I couldn't. I wanted so badly to, but...."
Ginny was cut off by Draco pressing his lips against hers. It took her a second to respond--at first she was in shock--but as soon as she gathered her thoughts, she kissed him back. She put as much passion into that kiss as she could--she knew it would be the only kiss she would have from anyone else besides Harry for the rest of her life.
Draco grabbed her arm and pulled her off to a supply closet at the corner of the room. He kissed her again once the door was closed behind them, and took off his shirt. Ginny did the same.
"I love you, Draco."
Draco froze, thinking. "I love you, too," he said after a moment. He kissed Ginny again, then kissed her neck and took off his pants.
Ginny slid her skirt around her ankles and closed her eyes, waiting for Draco to take her. He didn't.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
Draco looked at her and pulled away. "It doesn't seem right. I think I love you, but I'm not sure! I've never thought about you like that before, but kissing you seemed like the right thing to do, and I felt chemistry when I did, and...."
Ginny pulled Draco to her and kissed him passionately.
~~
FEW MINUTES LATER:
Ginny walked out of the closet, Draco following her. She had a little bit of lipstick smeared on her face, and her hair was a mess. She kissed Draco on the cheek and went into the bathroom to straighten up.
When she came back out, nobody was in the bar...except two people. She walked over to the table, and saw Harry sitting with Draco.
"Ginny, why do you do this to me?" Harry asked. "I always knew you loved him. Why didn't you just say so? I would've let you go."
"Really?" she asked sarcastically. "That explains why I've been with you for two and a half years, and hated you for one!"
"Don't use such harsh words, Darling," Harry whispered, kissing her neck. Ginny pulled away. "Gin, don't be this way. You need to relax. I can be a great boyfriend if you give me a chance."
"Sorry, Harry, but no."
Harry stood up and Draco flinched, expecting him to hit Ginny.
Harry did. Ginny fell to the floor.
"Don't touch her!" Draco shouted, standing up. "Don't ever lay another hand on her again!"
"Oh, and what are you going to do about it, Malfoy?" Harry asked. "I can do whatever I want. It doesn't concern you! This is between Ginny and I!"
"It concerns me, Potter!" Draco hissed.
"And how is that?"
"I love her!" Draco shouted. "It concerns me, because I'm in love with her! You just say you are so she wont hang herself or something, but I really do!"
"Draco!" Ginny hissed, getting to her feet. "Shut up! You're only making it worse!"
Harry glared at Ginny, then at Draco, then back at Ginny. "Come on, Ginny, let's go home," he said after a moment. "I'll get rid of HIM later!"
Harry grabbed Ginny by the arm and pulled her out of the bar to their house.
Ginny struggled from his grasp, and he let go, to her amazement. "Harry, I can walk myself home! I know the way!"
"Well, obviously I can't trust you to come home," Harry replied. "Ron and Hermione told me that you told them about it. I can't trust you with anything, it seems!"
Yeah, I can't trust you to not yell at me, hit me or order me around for even a day," Ginny scoffed huffily. "Why are you doing this to me?! I've done nothing wrong to you until today! I don't see why you're holding me hostage!"
"Gin, I always knew this day would come! I always knew you would do this! That's why I treat you the way I do, and I was right about that!" Harry hissed, grabbing Ginny's arm again.
Ginny wriggled in his grasp, but she wasn't successful in escaping. "Let me go! I hate you! I don't want to be with you, Harry!"
~~
TWO DAYS LATER:
Ginny crept out the door. It was two in the morning, and Ginny wanted to meet Hermione there soon. This time she didn't waste her time. She just grabbed her pullover, slammed her ring down on the table next to the door, and slipped out of the house towards the Leaky Cauldron.
Ginny opened the door, and saw Hermione--and a darker figure--waiting for her at the bar. She crept towards them, cautiously, and sat down next to the man.
"Hi, Gin," Hermione greeted her. "I'm sorry if we made it worse. We were just trying to help with the situation."
"It's okay, Mione. I know you weren't meaning to make matters worse. Actually, it wasn't that bad, compared to how it was to begin with. You actually made it better, I think. He's been kind of solemn, but I think that was my doing," Ginny told Hermione.
Hermione smiled and ordered another drink. "Yeah, Draco here told me what happened."
Draco stood up and smiled uneasily at Ginny. "Hey, Gin. How are things lately?"
Ginny smiled back and kissed him. "Great now! How about you?"
"Awful. I was worrying about you. I was afraid of what Potter was going to do to you. I was afraid he'd...." Draco trailed off, then shook his head, shaking away bad thoughts. "Anyway, you running, or staying?"
"What do you think?" Ginny asked sarcastically. "Yeah, I'm staying behind so I can die from blood loss at the age of twenty-four! I REALLY want to stay with my abusive boyfriend, when I'm in love with a kind, sweet man who loves me, too! That's what I've always wanted!"
"Don't get snappy!" Hermione exclaimed. "He was just asking if tonight was the night you were leaving!"
"Sorry. I'm just tired of putting up with him. I can't help but get angry with the thought," she hissed, slamming her mug of butterbeer down on the table angrily.
Draco smiled and kissed Ginny's cheek. "It's okay. I understand. I would do the same thing in your shoes."
After a few more minutes, Ginny had already downed as many beers as she could and walked through Diagon Alley.
"So, Gin, I was always wondering this. How was all your family wizards, and yet you're a Muggle?" Draco asked, walking next to her.
Ginny shrugged. "Not sure. Guess it's in our genes--the girls on my Dad's side are almost always Muggles. I'm quite sure, but whatever."
~~
LATER:
Ginny had walked all night, and now she was fast asleep under a tree, in Draco's arms. She wanted so badly to walk farther--get as far away from Harry as possible--but Draco told her to stop and rest, and she fell asleep immediately. Draco had thrown his coat over her so she wouldn't get cold, and fell asleep himself, holding her. Hermione sat on the other side of the tree.
A shadow crept over Ginny and Draco, and a man reached out his hand to her. Ginny awoke, and looked up at the man. Shadows still covered his face, and she backed away slowly.
"Gin, where are you going?" the man asked, moving into view.
Ginny sighed, seeing it was only her brother, Fred. She relaxed in Draco's arms, and patted the ground next to her, signing for Fred to sit down.
"I'm running from Harry. Did Ron tell you?" she asked sleepily.
"No. What's up?"
"Fred, he's become abusive towards me. He started threatening me and hitting me about a year ago, and he keeps me caged like an animal! I'm going crazy, so I took this one chance to escape."
Fred stood up automatically and ran down the road in the direction of Diagon Alley. Ginny stood up, too, slipped carefully out of Draco's arms as not to awaken him, and ran after Fred.
"What the hell are you doing?" Ginny whispered, catching up to Fred and pulling him to a stop. "Where are you going?!"
"Nobody messes with my little sister and gets away with it!" Fred hissed, glaring in the direction the road led. "I swear, I'll kill him!"
"So far you aren't the only one to say that," Ginny sighed. "Please just let me sleep. And please don't go after him. I know you aren't strong enough to take him! It wont work, no matter what you try!"
Fred sighed and gave in, taking a final glance at the distant Diagon Alley. "Fine. I'll come with you guys, to keep you safe."
"Fred, I'll be fine. I already have Draco and Hermione to look after me. They'll help me if I need anything," Ginny reassured Fred. "Just go home."
"They wont be strong enough to take him together if he does come after you!" Fred whispered walking back to the tree. "Just let me come. I'll help."
Ginny shook her head. "The less people traveling with me, the less suspicious people will be, and you never know if he has someone working for him somewhere!"
~~
NEXT MORNING:
Ginny awoke, not sure where she was. She was in a bed...a strange bed. She got up and looked around a little bit. Hotel room.
The door opened, and Harry stepped in.
"Bloody hell!" she hissed. "I'm trying to get away from you here! can't I just go?!"
Harry smirked and sat down on the bed. "When will you get it, Gin? You can't run from me, and that's that!"
Ginny sighed angrily and stormed into the bathroom, brushed her hair, and then stormed back out. "Where are Draco and Hermione?!"
"You needn't worry about Mione," Harry said mysteriously.
"What about Draco?!"
"He's...a bit caught up I things."
~~
MEANWHILE:
Draco awoke, chained to a pole. He tried to get out of the ropes, but it was no use. He looked around for something to help him, but there was nothing...except a dark figure in the shadows.
"Hermione!" Draco called. "Hermione, wake up! Come on, Mione! I need you to wake up!"
Hermione lifted her head, and saw Draco tied to the pole. She immediately got up and went over to Draco, and tried to untie the ropes. They were locked.
"Alohamora," she whispered, pointing her wand at the lock, the sighing, "Dammit!" when it didn't work. "How the hell?!"
Draco sighed and wriggled a bit, but didn't succeed in freeing himself. "Maybe.... Oh, never mind. It wouldn't work if that spell didn't."
Hermione rubbed her eyes and ran out the door. She discovered they were in Hogsmeade.
"Hermione! Where the hell are you going?!" Draco called. "Hermione! Don't leave me here! I need to know where you're going!"
Hermione ran back and told him she'd go get someone to help.
Hermione returned a couple minutes later with three people behind her: Ginny, Harry, and Percy (who worked for the Ministry of Magic now, heading up the Criminal Justice Department). Harry was in handcuffs, and Ginny was smirking like crazy.
"Let me go!" Harry shouted. "I swear, if I have to break out of these handcuffs, I'm going to kill you, Percy!"
Percy shrugged. "I know you wouldn't do that, Harry. I'm like your family. Besides, it's your fault you're in the handcuffs, anyway! If you could've stayed away from my little sister..." he hissed, rage boiling in his eyes. "Don't ever talk to Ginny again. I'll have you murdered if you so much as look at her wrong!"
"Percy!" Ginny murmured, "shut up and get Draco out of the chains!"
Percy locked Harry to another pole so he wouldn't get away, and went to undo the chains on Draco.
Harry pulled his wand out of his back pocket and murmured "Alohamora," then ran out of the building, grabbing Ginny before he did. "Come on, Gin, we're getting out of here!"
"Percy!" Ginny shouted, trying her best to stall Harry long enough for Percy to reach them. It was no use. Even without his magic backing him up, he was much stronger than her, and a much faster runner than Percy. "Please, Harry, stop this!"
Harry stopped for a second and looked at Ginny, then punched her, and she blacked out.
~~
LATER:
The next thing Ginny knew, she was waking up in Percy's arms. "What happened?" she asked softly.
Percy didn't realize she was awake until she spoke, and almost dropped her. "Oh, hi," he smiled. "I thought you were still out."
"Nope. Not anymore."
"Oh. Well, he's in Azkaban. We made a special cell that can hold him. After he punched you...." Percy trailed off, rage taking over him. "I swear, Gin, you just say it's okay, and I'll kill him! I'll kill him by these hands! Forget magic!"
Ginny smiled a little, even though Percy wasn't joking. "Percy, you'd get in trouble. I don't want you going to jail! Hell, knowing you, you'd probably send yourself to jail after that!" she teased.
"I don't care, Gin. He shouldn't be on the streets! He shouldn't have the right to live!" Percy snarled. "Anyway, I almost did kill him already. I gave him a beating of a lifetime for punching you. That should teach him."
"Ron's already tried that before and it didn't work. He just starts again, saying that I told them to and that would make it even! Fred wanted to do the same thing, but I stopped him before he could. Harry probably would have killed Fred!" Ginny said sadly. "Thank you, anyway."
"How many people know about what he does?" Percy asked.
Ginny thought for a second. "Only five. He threatened me not to tell anyone, but the other day I didn't care what he did to me anymore, as long as he could've been brought to justice. I don't want him moving on to another innocent girl, after I'm gone."
"Well, I'm glad you told someone. If not, you probably would have been in a coma about now. Gin, I'm worried! What if he gets out?"
"I don't know, Percy! I'm scared that he's going to hurt everyone I love after he's through with me! I don't want anyone to get hurt...including him, but.... Don't get it! I hate him, but I love him! Percy, help me!" Ginny pleaded, climbing out of his arms.
Percy thought for a second. Then he grabbed a quill and some parchment and started writing.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm writing Mum and Dad. I have to tell them about this," Percy said.
"No!!!" Ginny shouted.
"What?"
"I don't want them getting all worried about me! They'll come straight here and started asking me everything that pops into their minds! I don't want to talk about it right now...not with them, anyway!"
Percy sighed and put down the quill. "Okay, Gin, how about I tell them that you don't want to talk about it, and that you're okay and safe and they don't need to come here? That you'll talk to them later?" he asked softly.
Ginny thought for a second, then pouted but agreed. "Fine, but if they come down here, I'm going to hurt you!" she hissed, getting up and stretching. Her muscles were sore.
"Okay," he sighed.
Ginny smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you." She sat back down and thought for a second, then asked, "where are Draco and Hermione?"
"Hermione went home to sleep, and Draco went down to the Leaky Cauldron to wait for you. If you want to go, be my guest," he smiled.
"Okay. I'll talk to you tomorrow," Ginny said, leaving the building.
"Hey, Gin?" he called after her. She walked back in. "Can I come with you? It's been years since I had a drink!"
Ginny laughed and pulled her brother out of the building towards the bar. When she walked in, she immediately froze and backed away, pushing Percy backwards.
"What the hell, Gin?" he asked.
Ginny clapped her hand over Percy's mouth and pushed him out of the bar. "Harry was in there, sitting with Draco, waiting for me to get there."
"What the.... That's it! I'm taking care of him once and for all!" Percy hissed, pushing the door to the bar open. "Wait out here."
Ginny sat down on the bench next to the window and looked in at her brother, her boyfriend, and her love.
"Harry, get the hell out of here! Leave Ginny alone!" Percy shouted, tapping Harry on the shoulder.
When Harry turned around, Ginny saw that Harry had a black eye.
"Why does everyone think I'm just going to leave?" he asked, sipping his beer. "Oh, by the way, I owe you a beating." Harry pulled out his wand, scaring Draco so bad he spilled his beer on the floor.
Percy didn't pull out his wand. "I'm going to kill you with my own hands, not a stupid wand," he snarled.
Harry smirked. "You really think so, don't you?" He aimed his wand at Percy and murmured, "Crucio."
Percy clenched all the muscles in his body to keep the pain out, then fell to the floor, his entire body shaking.
"Percy!" Ginny yelled, running into the bar without thinking. She knelt beside her brother, sobbing. "Percy, are you okay? Please talk to me! I need you to be okay! Please! Don't die!"
"Ginny, what are you doing here?" Draco asked, sitting next to her. "Percy promised me he wouldn't let you out of that room without checking to se if Potter was there first!"
Harry sighed and sat down, taking another sip of his beer. "Are you two done with this little reunion? I'm bored!"
Draco turned towards Harry, anger burning in his eyes. "Don't lay a hand on Ginny!" he hissed. "Don't ever hurt her again!"
Harry smirked and stood up again. "I'll do whatever I want with Ginny."
The door to the pub opened, and Ginny turned around to see Fred and George standing there.
"Ginny!" Fred called. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Percy isn't, though," she sobbed. "What are you two doing here?"
"We got Percy's letter. We went down to Azkaban to see if Harry didn't kill anyone, and they said he had escaped. We knew he was going to come after you, so we came down here to look for you," George said, hugging his little sister.
George and Fred turned to Harry, who was now pointing his wand at Draco. They both took out their wands and called "Crucio!" at the same time.
Harry went flying back, and hit the back wall which was covered in beer bottles. He fell to the ground, shaking.
"Percy, you okay?" Fred asked, slapping his brother gently across the cheek to wake him up. Percy opened his eyes slowly and smiled weakly at the sight of Fred and George standing over him. "You scared us there."
Percy relaxed his muscles for a second, then straightened again as another wave of pain passed through his body.
"Come on, Percy," George murmured, "I'll get you to the hospital." George picked up his brother and walked out of the bar, glancing back at Ginny. "Fred, Draco, you two take care of her."
Draco nodded and Fred walked up to Harry. "That's it. We're getting rid of him right here, right now!" Draco hissed, running up to the unconscious Harry and grabbing him by the neck.
"Draco, no!" Ginny shouted. "Don't!"
Draco looked over at her, shocked. "What the hell, Gin?"
"You'll get in trouble! Don't do it! We can take him to Azkaban. We can have him taken care of right away, so he wont wake up again! At least then it'll be legal! If you do it, you'll be sent to Azkaban!"
Draco nodded and let go of Harry. "Fine. But I'll have my wand ready. If he wakes up and tries something, I swear I will kill him!"
~~
TWO DAYS LATER:
A group of anxious people stood in a group, awaiting Ginny's decision. Harry sat in a small, padded room, chained to a wall, one giant window looking in on him, with Ginny on the other side of it.
"Fine," she said emotionlessly. "Get rid of him. He deserves it. If that's what people want, then that's what will happen."
Draco smiled and hugged Ginny, then kissed her.
Harry flipped Draco off through the window, and waited for Ginny to come in and tell him her decision.
Ginny opened the door and walked calmly through the threshold, her face stiff and straight. No smile, no frown, no smirk.
"Good bye, Harry," she said calmly. "I'll see you in Hell!"
Harry sighed with fright. "Gin? Are you really going to have them do this?"
"Yes, Harry. I have no other choice! After you're done with me, you're going to move on to another innocent girl, and I can't let that happen!" Ginny insisted. "I'm tired of you, and this is the end of it."
"Gin, please, don't do this," he pleaded. "I'll change! I'll do my best to change! I promise. Just give me another chance! One last chance, and then if I screw it up again, I wont even ask you to spare me."
"No," was the only thing Ginny would allow herself to say. "You promised me that before, and you never did. This is the end to all your lies and deceptions."
Two guards came in and unlocked Harry's handcuffs from the walls, then dragged him out of the cell.
"I love you, Gin."
~~
NEXT DAY:
Harry was gone. Ginny wasn't sure if she was supposed to be happy he wasn't there to abuse her anymore, and upset that she let herself make the decision to kill him. She lay in bed all morning, not wanting to get up.
After all the shit he put her through, she had grown used to it. She had grown used to being yelled at constantly, and being hit every other day. It would be hard for her to adjust to being without that, and she hated herself for admitting that.
Once Ginny finally got out of bed, there were two letters sitting on her table, waiting for her, her owl Spooky snuggled deep in his cage.
Ginny ripped open the letter from Draco and eagerly unfolded it.
Dearest Ginny,
Good Morning, Sunshine. Did you sleep well? Are you happier now, knowing that you don't have to wake up to him anymore?
You can always change it from waking up alone (like you did this morning) to waking up with me. I would love that. I know this is a corny way to ask, but would you like to move in with me?
I love you,
Draco.
Ginny almost fainted at the words 'I love you'. She hadn't heard that word from anyone except Harry--in his lying, deceiving manner--for over two years.
She decided to open the second letter before replying to Draco's letter.
Dear Miss Weasley,
This is Dr. Cline. I'm examining Harry's body. We found a strange substance in his immune system, and we and further studying it now.
We believe it is due to a curse, which was cast eighteen months ago. We also believe this curse was cast by Voldemort, and the curse is the cause for Harry's sudden abuse towards you.
We aren't sure if this is all true, but we'll find out soon. We'll owl you again once we have the final results.
Dr. Shane Cline,
Western Magical Hospital.
Ginny's heart sank. She never thought of Voldemort being the cause of his sudden anger and abuse towards her, and she was mad at herself for not seeing that possibility sooner.
The love that Harry once had for her now was lost, and so was he.
The scars he gave her would always be there, as a reminder, but the biggest one would be the scar he left, on her heart.
END
