Draco opened his eyes; the smooth silk covers against his body were very soothing. There was only 2 weeks until the summer was over and he would be back at Hogwarts. Here he was, in Malfoy Manner, waiting for his mother to call him. His room was very big, it contained a large wardrobe, a four-poster bed, a large body sized mirror, a large sofa, a massive fish tank containing multi coloured piranhas and several pictures of him, each wearing the same devious grin. Everything in his room was the colour of rich gold, apart from one object, a small box that was violet and had the words engraved saying, Dearest Draco, in fancy green lettering.

"Draco!" came his mothers voice from the doorway. "Wake up Draco! We have guests today."

Draco reluctantly got out his bed and darted straight to his mirror. "Where is Garcon?" Draco asked, checking his reflection.

"It's his day off dearest, you have to do your hair yourself. And I picked out a darling outfit for you, it's over there, by the mirror," Narcissa Malfoy said.

Draco turned around and looked over by the wardrobe, he shuddered. There was nothing darling about this outfit. The top was a rich blue and made of silk, it had white frilly cuffs with green snake cuff links and frills around the neck. The trousers were also silk and also blue. The boots were black with several buckles.

Narcissa looked at him in admiration. "You will look stunning, why don't you wear that outfit more often? It brings out the colour of your eyes."

Draco kept quiet, staring at the outfit in horror.

"Who are the guests?" Draco asked, looking at his mother.

"You're cousin of course, she's going to Hogwarts this year. She's the same age as you but she went to a different school. She's going to stay with us for the 2 weeks then she will go to Hogwarts, where you will take good care of her," Narcissa said.

"I have a cousin?" Draco asked.

"Of course you do dear," Narcissa said picking up the outfit and handing it to him. "You used to play in her paddling pool naked."

Draco went bright red. "I did what?" he managed to choke out.

"You heard. Now get ready, she'll be here soon," Narcissa said and walked out the room.

Draco turned to the outfit and sighed. His mother would make him show her around all the Malfoy Manner and now she was making him look after her in Hogwarts? What happened to the simple days when I could just poke the house elves with large sticks? Draco thought and looked at the outfit.

Draco walked down the long wide stairs, his mother's giggles reaching his ears. He looked at the paintings, mainly on himself. There was one of him wearing a pink bonnet, with blonde curls sticking out. Draco shuddered hoping no one would notice that picture.

Draco entered the large living room and immediately noticed a girl talking to his mother. They were both sat down on the pink sofa's giggling and talking. Everyone turned around when Draco entered. Draco looked at the girl; she had long silvery blonde hair, cool grey eyes, manicured nails and spotless skin.

"Hello Draco," she smiled.

"Draco," Narcissa said. "This is Priscilla, your cousin."

"Hi Priscilla," Draco said, staring at the floor.

"Narcissa, what have you done to Draco? He looks like a girl," Lucius said, looking at his son.

"I thought it would show his feminine side. Besides, it looks cute, don't you think Priscilla?" Narcissa asked, giving her husband a disapproving look.

"He looks very manly. Besides, it's the latest trend, all the hunky wizards wear them," Priscilla said, eyeing Draco up and down.

Narcissa stuck her tongue out at Lucius who was frowning slightly.

"How about Draco shows Priscilla around the garden, whilst Narcissa and I have words," Lucius said, looking at his wife.

They all nodded and Draco and Priscilla walked out the room.

"So- Priscilla," Draco said, looking at the floor.

Priscilla burst out giggling, "You're the Draco who used to prance around my paddling pool naked?"

Draco went red slightly and scowled at her, "How did you know?"

Priscilla put a hand into her silk blue cloak and pulled out a photo and handed it to Draco.

Draco looked at in horror; it was him at the age of 3 naked and beaming at them, a younger Priscilla next to him, wearing a nappy.

"I assure you, my err- manhood is a lot bigger now," Draco smirked.

Priscilla giggled, "I couldn't care less."

"Yeah right. So you'd go out with a boy with a tiny manhood," Draco said, grinning.

Priscilla laughed and shook her head. "Well if you put it that way- wow!"

They had just walked into the garden it was massive. There was a huge swimming pool (Glass around the sides, filled with fish), several plants, several chairs and tables, a big maze to the side of the house and stables that contained 7 well groomed, beautiful unicorns.

Draco smirked proudly, "Well, if you have cash why not spend it?"

"Too damn right," Priscilla said, casting a look at the Unicorns. "Can we ride-" she began, but he interrupted.

"Sure, come with me," Draco said, taking her hand and running towards the Unicorns.

"Hello Sir, Sir Malfoy and err Miss Malfoy," said a tiny house elf, stood by the Unicorns.

"Aww how sweet," Priscilla said, patting the house elf on the head.

"No!" the house elf squeaked. "Miss, you are too kind! Too kind!"

Priscilla pulled a face and looked at Draco who shrugged.

: -

"So, you're an only child?" Priscilla asked as they sat on a Unicorn.

"Yeah," Draco said. Then tapped the Unicorn and it broke into a run.

Priscilla held onto Draco tightly, giggling.

Her long silvery blonde hair flowing behind her, her cool grey eyes sparkling in amusement.

"So, tell me. This Hogwarts place, what groups are there again?" Priscilla asked, taking in the smell of Draco's deodorant.

"Well. There's Slytherin, that's what I am. That house is mainly for the Ambitious," Draco said.

"But I heard You-Know-Who was a Slytherin," Priscilla said.

"Yeah, he was. Then you have Ravenclaw, that's for the "cleverest" but I despise most of them, then there's Hufflepuff they're a dippy lot and then," Draco said. "There's Gryffindor. That's the house with the famous Harry Potter in."

"I want to be in that house," Priscilla smiled.

"No!" Draco snapped. "No Malfoy has ever been in Gryffindor and I wish that to continue. Slytherin is the best house for you, you're a Malfoy."

Priscilla rolled her eyes, "I had the same discussion with Mother, and she insists that I be Slytherin, but I have a choice, don't I?"

"No," Draco said. "A shabby old hat decides for you."

Priscilla laughed, thinking it was a joke, then saw Draco's expression and immediately grew quiet.

"The hat has brains, it can tell what you're thinking. Can read you're mind and decides which house you will be in," Draco explained.

Priscilla nodded, "It's getting sort of late, maybe we should head back to your house."

"Nah, we'll go back in a minute. Besides, we haven't got to the best part," Draco said as the Unicorn stopped in front of a large tree with a tree house in.

"A tree house?" Priscilla asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Not just any ordinary tree house," Draco said, jumping off the Unicorn.

"It has a mini bar?" Priscilla asked, as she took Draco's hand and jumped off the Unicorn.

"Nope, much better," Draco said and started to climb the tree.

Priscilla smirked and followed him up the tree, it seemed they were climbing for ages, until they reached it.

Draco got in and took Priscilla's hand, pulling her in.

Priscilla gasped; she has expected to see a small wooden thing. But this place was like play toy heaven. It had many computer games, grabber machines, wide screen televisions and weird funky chairs. The carpet was a rich red and there were long drape curtains.

Priscilla stood there for seconds, her mouth wide open.

"Like it?" Draco asked, jumping onto a feather bed in the corner.

Priscilla nodded then jumped on the feather bed and flew right in the air.

"Woo!" Priscilla giggled, then pounced on Draco and pinned him to the bed.

For a few minutes they looked into each other's eyes, then Priscilla ticked Draco and he giggled like a girl.

Priscilla laughed and jumped off the bed, then looked out the large window.

Priscilla climbed on the window ledge, then looked at Draco, her eyes full of amusement.

"Watch out Pris, you don't want to hurt yourself," Draco said.

"What's the bet that I can jump in the swimming pool from here?" Priscilla asked, her face breaking into a huge grin.

"No-don't-" Draco said, but Priscilla had already jumped out the window.

Draco ran to the window and jumped out of it, landing in the pool.

Priscilla giggled and spat some water at him.

Draco smirked and dunked her under the water. Priscilla quickly arose, gasping for breath, then grinned deviously at Draco, but before they could do anything there lips touched.

They just stared at each other, their lips glued, until Draco quickly pulled back.

"Is that normal?" Priscilla asked.

"What? We only kissed," Draco said, looking uncomfortable. "It's not like we had sex or anything. Just a friendly kiss."

"Draco, we kissed. Cousins don't kiss, well, not like that," Priscilla said.

"Why are you so bothered?" Draco asked, getting out the pool.

"Because cousins don't kiss!" Priscilla said, also getting out the pool.

"Yes they do. Besides, it was a friendly kiss, nothing more," Draco said, walking across the grass and through the huge glass doors into Malfoy Manner.

"My goodness," Narcissa said, looking at them both. "What have you been doing?"

Before they could answer Narcissa clapped her hands and four house elves came scurrying over, carrying towels.

"Now, take your wet clothes off and put your towels around you. When you get to your room there will be new clothes laid out for you," Narcissa said and walked off.

Draco and Priscilla both stripped down to there under clothes and gave the house elves their wet soggy clothes. The each took a warm towel and wrapped it around them.

"So, where is your room?" Priscilla asked, following Draco down the hallway, holding her towel around herself tightly.

"This way," Draco said, walking hurriedly.

They went up a flight of stairs, when Priscilla noticed a huge plaque saying, Sir Draco Malfoy's room, in posh gold lettering.

Draco pushed the door open and Priscilla noticed everything was a gold colour, apart from a small violet box. She went over to it and was about to open it, but Draco stopped her.

"Don't," Draco said quietly.

Priscilla nodded and sat on the bed that had been put in the room for her. She could have had her own room, since there were so many rooms, but Narcissa thought if they shared a room they could bond more. The bed was a four-poster bed, which was pink and had long silk drapes hanging at the sides.

"Sorry about earlier.." Draco said, looking at Priscilla.

"Sorry for what?" Priscilla asked. "After all, it was only a kiss, like you said."

Draco walked over to her and sat on the bed next to her.

"Can we forget about earlier and just be friends?" Draco asked.

Priscilla smiled and nodded, then grabbed a silk pillow and whacked Draco around the head with it.

Draco smirked and pushed her lightly onto the bed, hitting her with a pillow.

: -

"Draco!" Priscilla whispered. "Are you awake?"

There came no reply, but instead the room filled with Draco's muttering.

Priscilla grinned and silently got out of her bed, tiptoeing over to the little violet box.

She quickly looked around, saw that Draco was sleeping peacefully and turned back to the box.

She fumbled about with the lock then finally managed to open it. As soon as she opened it, little gold stars flew out and dust. Priscilla coughed slightly from all the dust, and then noticed that the box had begun to play a tune. She listened as a voice sang softly.

"Dancing bears,

Painted wings,

Things I almost remember.

And a song someone sings

Once, upon a December."

"Someone holds me safe and warm.

Horses prance through a silver storm.

Figures dancing gracefully

Across my memory..."

"Far away, long ago.

Glowing dim as an ember.

Things my heart

Used to know,

Things it yearns to remember...

And a song

Someone sings

Once, upon a December."

"Someone holds me safe and warm.

Horses prance through a silver storm.

Figures dancing gracefully

Across my memory..."

The music stopped playing and Priscilla frowned slightly. That song seemed very familiar, but before she could ponder anymore she noticed a piece of dusty paper lying in the bottom of the highly decorated box.

Priscilla picked it up quickly and blew away the dust; it seemed to be a diary.

She muttered it quietly to herself.

Hell hole August 19th

Dear diary,

I cannot stick being here anymore; my father has gone too far. I feel nervous being around him, every word he says makes me scared. My mother is also scared of him, I can tell. She tries to cover it up, say we're a normal family, but we're not. I do not know why I'm writing this diary; maybe so in the future someone can truly understand me. Besides, I cannot talk to anyone else about this. My mother would insist I needed rest and that Father is just stressed from all the work he does. I cannot talk to the house elves; they are also scared of him and would beat themselves up if they spoke wrongly about him. I cannot tell my friends, they think I'm perfect, think I have a nice family. They are too wrong. My father is a death eater, that's old news. He expects me to follow in his footsteps, to be a screw up, just like him. If he caught me writing this I would get a good beating. That stick with the fist he carries around, it's not just for show...

My mother, is calling me, I must go. I have to face him again, that slimy git. Though, he has power more power than you or I could possess. For now, it's goodbye. I will keep you updated that is if my father hasn't already beaten me to death.

Draco

Priscilla gasped and put the diary entry back in the box with trembling hands.

"I guess your curiosity got the better of you," a voice said behind her.

Priscilla spun around and saw Draco's grey eyes staring right into hers.
