The Sorting Hat Ceremony has just finished. There are now piles of food on the table. Everyone is digging in. Everyone except Ginny. She wasn't really hungry after everything that happened on the train. She made out with her brother's worst enemy and she told off Luna. She felt great but didn't want to eat at the moment. She looked for some familiar faces.
Hermione was whispering to an angry Ron. She was probably getting him to get over what happened on the train. Harry was talking to Dean. They were most likely talking about Wizard Chess. Colin was stuffing his face with food. For such a skinny boy he did eat a lot. Ron was the same way. Luna looks like she is holding back tears. 'I don't feel guilty about it at all. It's unlike me but I don't see why I should feel anything for her.'
Draco was talking to Crabbe, Goyle and Pansy. Ginny smirked at him and he smirked back. Pansy noticed the strange scene but said nothing. She knew she would have to find out what was going on between her Draco and that Mudblood lover.

In the common room Ron was practically falling asleep. He wanted to talk to Ginny but at the same time he didn't want to know what was going no. Hermione had talked to him about it and he was calm about the situation. He needed to hear Ginny's side, at least that's what Hermione told him.
He wasn't sure if Ginny had gone up to bed. Hermione had left a few seconds ago to go see. When she came back, Ginny was with her.
"So, you mind telling me what happened?"
"Well, it's complicated. I never meant to hurt you. I actually don't know what I meant to do. Things aren't suppose to be like this."
"Be like what?" But this time Hermione had left the two alone and gone upstairs. Ron was still calm because he didn't want to loss his sister. And defiantly not to Draco.
"Like this. I'm not suppose to want to talk to Draco. He insults my family. I'm not suppose to like kissing him. I'm suppose to keep my oppression with Harry and fall in love with him well he goes off to fight You-Know-Who and then when he comes back he still won't notice me. I'll keep hoping though. Right, that's how things are suppose to be?"
"No, Harry is suppose to love you back. I can't stand watching him break your heart. It took all of my effort not to get up and leave when you went off to cry because of the news. I don't want you to get hurt. That's why I don't want you to be with Draco."
"Well who else is there?"
"I don't know. I'm not going to get mad though if you choose Draco. I'm just warning you, you'll get hurt."
'I'm not a little girl anymore. I can make my own decisions. It's not like I'm going out with him or anything. I just really like kissing him." Ron gave a look of disgust. "Sorry"
"It's ok Ginny. I don't approve but I'll deal with it."
"You really are the best brother." She gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek and skipped off to her room.
"I just hope I don't regret this." Ron muttered to himself.

For the last few weeks Ginny didn't hear from Draco. She was disappointed but wasn't going to stress about it. One morning when the Owls came with everyone's mail a beautiful white owl came down and landed by Ginny. He dropped off a note and then left.
Ginny,
I'm having some problems. I can't seem to understand this potion. I'm normally a master at Potions but this is tricky. I need your help. Please meet me at the back of the library. No one will see us. I wouldn't ask unless it was important. Meet me there after breakfast.
D.L.M.
"What's that?" Hermione asked.
Ginny gave her the note. She read it and bursted out laughing. "God, his desperate. That potion was simple." Now Ginny was laughing along but toke the time to look over at Draco and nod her approval.
"What's so funny girls?" Harry asked as he and Ron sat down beside them.
"Oh, it's just a girl thing. You guys wouldn't understand." Hermione said between laughs.
Ron gave her a questioning look but then dug into his food. "So what are my two favorite girls today?"
"I'm going to study." Ginny said with a huge smile.
"Normally people don't smile when they go to study. Hermione you've corrupted me sister."
"No I didn't. She's just smart unlike some people who have never stepped foot inside that library." She glared at Ron and Harry.
"We have to gone in the library. We aren't stupid you know." Ron said defensively.
"Anyways," She said as she rooled her eyes at the two of them. "I don't have any plans but I thought that I haven't seen the view from the Astronomy Tower for the longest time. Want to go there with me Ron?" She then winked at him.
Ron looked confused for a second. "What's so special about the view from the Astronmy Tower?" Hermione shot him a look that said how can you not understand. "Ohhh, I get it now. Sure, I'd love to."
"Let's go. Bye Ginny and Harry."
"Actually I'd better go to. Bye Harry. Have fun you two. Don't get into too much trouble."
"How can we get in trouble up at the Astronomy Tower?" Ron asked. Ginny wasn't sure if he understood why Hermione wanted to go there. He probably just pretended to understand so he didn't look stupid. Boy was he going to like it up there once he understands. He'll never want to leave.
"Well I just have one word of advise. Use protection charms." She smiled well Ron frown.
"Protection charms? Why would we need one of those?" Then it clicked. "Ginny, you better not know any protection charms," but she was already gone to the library.

Ginny went to the back of the library where Draco was already waiting.
"I've already figured out the potion. I'm sorry for dragging you here."
"That's ok, I've got to study anyways." She plopped down beside him and got out her Divinations book and began to read.
A few minutes later, Ginny tossed her book aside. "I don't want to study!"
"And why not?"
"Because I can't concentrate."
"Ok," Draco tossed his book down too. He slide closer to her and put his arm around her. Then he pulled her closer. Ginny felt a strange feeling of being safe and warm in Draco's arm. He smelled so sweet to Ginny. She kissed him on the cheek then he turned to catch her lips in a kiss.
She suddenly pulled away from him. She felt like they were being watched.
"What's wrong?" Draco whispered as he tried to resume the kiss.
Over by one of the bookselves Ginny could see the shadow of someone.
Pansy.
She was spying on them. 'Well I hope the Peeping Tom likes the show,' Ginny thought.
She reached up with both hands and pulled Draco's face to hers. She then closed her eyes and kissed him with renewed passion.
