~*~Forever Gone~*~

Five years had gone by, still, she couldn’t forget him. She acted like she did. After the summer vacation that year, she was Cho Chang again, the pretty, smart, popular Ravenclaw Seeker. But inside, she was empty. She just couldn’t forget about him.

All her dreams were about him, his face, his smiles, his touches, his kisses, and his love. She relieved every moment she spent with him in her dreams.

When she woke up tonight, with tears in her eyes, she knew she dreamt about him again. She walked toward the window, and stared out at the night sky. She knew Cedric is one of those brightest stars, watching over her.

She graduated with the highest N.E.W.T. score in the century; she won the Quidditch Cup for England when she was 19. She was a lot of girls’ role model; she would receive over a dozen of mails each day from her admirers. She had almost everything anyone would expect; fame, money, and a pretty face.

During the day, she was a celebrity, almost every girl envied her, and she was their hero. Their dreams, she accomplished for them.

But during the night, she was herself again; she turned into a pathetic, deplorable little creature. Cedric would take up her, when she closed her eyes, he would appear, torturing her suffering nerves.

Then, she would always recover when the sun rises. She would pull herself back together, put on her mask and keep acting out this tragic comedy which was her life.

But today, she got tired of it. She stared out the sky. Her mother committed suicide when her father was killed. Couldn’t she just follow her footsteps? Couldn’t she just leave the cruel world behind her? Couldn’t she just go to a better place, with her mom, her dad, and her Cedric? There would be people who would miss her, but they will get over her.

Did she really want to die? She asked herself this question once again. And the answer was yes.

She opened her drawer, there was a pocket-knife, it was a souvenir from Cedric, it was the knife he used to cut her free during the second task of the Triwizard Tournament, and now she would use this to bring herself to him.

She lifted the knife to her wrist; she could feel the cold blade touching her skin. With one quick motion, she slid the knife.

Blood was pouring from her wrist, she watched them flowing out of her veins. She lay down on her bed, the sheets were turning red. She closed her eyes; she knew the pain would end soon, very soon…

~~Excerpt from the Daily Prophet~~

Miss Cho Chang’s body was found in her apartment on September 23rd, two days after her tragic death.

Forensic Doctor, Miss Hermione Granger stated that Miss Chang had commit suicide, “This is a suicide, the knife she was using has only Mr. Diggory and her fingerprints on it. She hadn’t left any will.”

There were thousands of flowers sent to her funeral, and over 200 people attended the funeral.

We interviewed Miss Wendy Blair, one of Miss Chang’s close friends. “She was always so optimistic, enthusiastic, and convivial. I had no idea she would commit suicide. There was nothing, nothing bothering her, she seemed to have a perfect life. I have no idea why she would do this.”

No one knows what was bothering our Star Seeker. Further investigation will take place, and Miss Chang will always be in our heart.
