Voldemort spoke the words with great care and almost lazily. A smile was on his face but his eyes were cold.

Some had said that the curse didn't kill if you don't mean to. But Voldemort did and so he died.

The glasses fell off his nose and shattered into a thousand pieces on the hard wooden floor.

Was there pain? He couldn't tell. It was simply not enough time.

Enough though to think about the people he loved and would now see again.

He watched. He always did. It was all he could do.

He'd seen the pain it had caused when he went through the veil.

He'd never forgot the realization strike and the tears, which fell.

He had cried, too. Like now

This place was strange. Never seen it before, had he? It looked somehow kind of familiar.

But maybe it was just the man with the long, black hair waiting for him with his arms wide open...

Ten month since he was gone. Every day was as sad as the day he was taken away from her.

But it got better every day. It had to.

Time heals. It truly does. And she was not alone anymore.

He watched him from the other side. Watched her laugh and watched her cry.

Sometimes Sirius was at his side. They sat down under the sunlight and simply watched the Baby sleep.
