Illuminati… the world’s good and light powers, in their purest form. Tenebri were the exact opposite. To be an Illuminati or Tenebri is to be highly respected, yet dangerous at the same time. Both races hold power over their office of choice, but they can lead normal witches and wizards astray.

According to legend, there was a great man, in need of power. He gathered the purest Illuminati and Tenebri together and formed a triangle, with each of their souls. From their transformed states, he gathered the powers and tried to absorb them, but as he did so, he was destroyed. The Illuminati took back their powers and the Tenebri theirs, but the secrets of this hidden people had escaped through the eyes of the man’s son.

He professed all that we know today of Illuminati and their Tenebrous partners.

The avant-gardes of the ages were the Illuminati, a gifted people in the ways of pure and great powers. They were normal wizards and witches, but upon the man-hood or woman-hood of these beings, they suddenly changed forms. There skin was luminescent and their eyes held the secrets of all they saw. They could go from their pure forms, as Illuminati, to their human forms, whenever they pleased.

But there was a problem. As with the ancient symbol of the yin-yang, good power is always balanced with evil power. There was never an Illuminati born without their Tenebri. The Tenebri were gifted in the practices of Dark Magic, powers that only the Illuminati could withstand. Powers of death, destruction, and controlling. Powers that cursed the magical world that the Illuminati’s had worked so hard to keep hidden from the non-magical eye. Or rather the eyes of muggles as they are called in this day and age.

These powers threatened to create a tip in the secrecy the Illuminati had been depending on since they first realized their power, a date that has long since been lost to this age. So they created a bond.

Illuminati attract all emotional, physical, spiritual and mental strains, in simple language, the Tenebri were all of these strains in a human embodiment. Tenebri attracted all physical lifts, which in part were the Illuminati. It is needless to say that an Illuminati and her Tenebri were always attracted to each other, sexually. Many found out what they were before they took a great risk of creating a child, and turned away from their partners, but the leaders of their race feared the worst, so they protected their young ones, making it so that no Tenebri and Illuminati of the same generation could be opposite sexes.

This created yet another drift between the two kindred humans. They began to drift apart, fighting often and killing even more so than they had in the past.

few Illuminati, who could not take being separated from their partners, became tainted, not as powerful as they had once been. Parts of their bodies could not transform, thus they were susceptible to the death they could not receive whilst in their pure forms. They let the dangers and strains of the world dim their light, and they could no longer serve as they once had.

Once again the Illuminati had made a mistake, they had worsened the ever-nearing conflict of good versus evil. They decided to make their last shot, make a being that could not die. Who would live forever and rule with a steady hand, evening dark and light. A leader that all would follow, and no one could disagree with. One who had decided that good and evil needed a proper balance in his own life.

The Illuminatus was supposed to bring about the end of the Illuminati and Tenebri races. He was the power so many had searched for. He was the end to more then a millennia of conflict.

The Illuminatus could be born, but also made. It required three pure Illuminati and their pure Tenebri, and the one who coveted the power. He could not be part of these races, either distantly or assertively. The Illuminati, in their pure forms, had to be placed in a triangle, symbolizing strength, then the Tenebri, also in their pure forms, in another triangle, inscribed in the first. The Receiver would stand in the center of both triangles and chant an incantation, only known to very few. The powers of the Illuminati and the Tenebri would gather inside the Receiver and he would become the Illuminatus (see the diagram on page 623)

This feat was never fully accomplished the only time ever attempted, because an Illuminati put out a great power force and the Receiver die, because the balance in his body was terminated. There has never been a recorded effort after this.

Unfortunately, no other information can be told of the Illuminatus, because there has never been one.

There has been recent evidence that the Illuminatus is coming.

Many famous Illuminati include Albus Dumbledore, Hecklefate Turnywother, Yodele Mientrophede and Brentney Stafford. Known Tenebri include Jeffrey Bell, Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange.
