Draco didn't know how long he sat before the smashed mirror, his hand coated with dried blood. He kept staring in front of him. He wasn't thinking. All he felt was pain, not in his hand, but in his whole body. All he felt was pain and anger. Each breath was hard to take in.

He was interrupted by a soft knock on the door.

"S...Sir? Dipply is sorry to interrupt. Dipply has brought yummy food for Sir. And...he has brought...a l...letter." A small voice sounded behind the door.

Draco stood up slowly, unlocked the door, and opened it for his servant. The elf seemed shocked to see his master paler than usual. The creature looked way up and saw the scowl on his face. His large, watery eyes lingered on Draco's hands.

"What are you staring at, you stupid, worthless creature?" the young Malfoy asked warningly.

Dipply, his hands shaking violently, offered the meal tray to Draco.

"Sir...D...Dipply brought d...dinner." The poor creature's voice was barely heard.

Draco stared at the frightened creature. He felt hatred slowly build inside as he watched Dipply trying to offer him the food. With a movement as quick as lightning he took the food tray and smashed it against the floor.

"Get...out."

Dipply didn't need a second warning. He dropped the letter on the ground beside the smashed china and ran off. Draco stared at was once his dinner, but the envelope caught his interest. He bent over to pick it up. Brushing off the scraps of food on it, he saw whom it was from.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

Deputy Headmistress: Minerva McGonagall

Dear Mr. Malfoy,

We are very pleased to inform you that your seventh, and last year of Hogwarts will begin on September 1. There is an extra letter. Find out for yourself. I am urgently requesting your presence here at Hogwarts three days before school starts. Please share this note with no one but the exception of Mrs. Malfoy. Don't let your father see this letter. He mustn't know about your departure. Your mother already knows about this. She is to use floo powder nine and a half to send you to my office. I have taken the liberty to get you your needed books and materials. You shall bring whatever else is needed. Take care. And be careful.

Sincerely,

Albus Dumbledore

Draco stared at the letter. Well, going to Hogwarts early was way better than staying at Malfoy Manor, but he didn't exactly understand why his father couldn't read the letter.

"He mustn't know about you departure," he read quietly.

Dumbledore was strange wizard. What was so urgently need to be told to the young Malfoy? Draco opened the second letter.

"Shit." He whispered as he read the first sentence.

HOWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Dear Mr. Malfoy,

It is my great pleasure to announce you as Head Boy in Hogwarts School this year. This responsibility is to be taken serious. We trust you to help keep our school under control. Don't be the one to join the trouble. And, yes, Ms. Granger is Head Girl. You are to be her partner throughout the year. Please try to cooperate together. It is vital we have an inter-house unity.

Sincerely,

Severus Snape

"Holy crap. I can't believe this. I'm Head Boy..."

The badge he saw at the bottom of the parchment popped out and pinned itself on his robe. The wizard world is advancing. If a badge can come out of a paper and pin itself on someone, then a sword can appear out of a poster and murder someone.

He looked over the letter again, and this time, his face twisted into a disdainful grimace.

"What do you know? The little good for nothing Mudblood is Head Girl." His grimace twisted into an evil smile. "It'll be much easier to get her in trouble now that she's my partner. All I have to do is make sure she knows who the boss is."

Draco collapsed onto his bed and started laughing softly.

"Ha! The little Mudblood! She's Head Girl. I wonder how she'll react when she sees me!"

And he laid there until he fell asleep.

No, Draco has not become hysterial. I thought the exact same thing when I was writing it. Draco is perfectly fine. And, please review!
