CHAPTER 2

OMG, the Hotness!!!!!

-Me

Harry, Hermione, Ron and Corey talked all through the train ride. They talked about Corey's school in America, Hogwarts, Malfoy, anything they could think of. Ron especially seemed to be interested in Corey. He was sitting next to her on the train, and blushed very hard when the lady with the lunch trolley came and he didn't have any money to buy anything. But Corey didn't seem to mind; she didn't even seem to notice. But she also seemed to be interested in Ron. She kept asking about his family.

"I come from a half-and-half family," she said. "My mom is a muggle, my dad is a wizard, but my twin brother Carey is also a muggle."

"Really?" asked Hermione. "I read somewhere that one twin being magical and one twin who's not is very uncommon."

"I know, that's what everyone says. Carey was kinda upset when I got a letter for my school in America and he didn't but he was okay after I told him how much homework I got." Corey laughed. "Do you get a lot of Homework here?"

"Oh, no," said Hermione. "Not a lot."

Ron and Harry started to laugh uncontrollably. Hermione gave them a cross look and pulled out her book and began to read.

"I have a feeling I'm missing something," said Corey.

"Sorry," said Ron, trying to compose himself. "You see, Hermione is a, um..." He trailed off, unable to think of a word to use.

"A very good student," finished Harry. "A very good student." Despite the fact the Harry didn't necessarily mean that as a compliment, Corey could still see Hermione smile a little from behind her book.

Before Corey could reply, three other boys walked into their compartment.

"Heyyy, Ron, Harry, Hermione!" the one with sandy-colored hair said. "We've been looking all over for you.

"Actually, we've been looking more for Trevor," said the dark-skinned one with a smile. He gestured to the round, brown-haired boy behind him. "Neville lost him again." The boy called Neville blushed.

Hermione put down her book. "I'm sorry, Neville," she said. "Did you ever find him?"

Neville nodded. "Yeah, no thanks to those two," he replied, pointing his thumb toward the other boys that had came in with him.

"Oooooooo, Neville disses!" shouted Ron. "Nice!"

Harry laughed. "Anyway, it's good to see you guys," he said. Corey cleared her throat uncomfortably. "Oh! Sorry Corey, said Harry. He pointed to the sandy-haired boy. "This is Seamus Finnigan." Now he pointed to the dark-skinned one. "That's Dean Thomas. And you probably already know who Neville is." Corey nodded. "Guys this is Corey Witberg."

Seamus reached over to shake her hand. "It's nice to meet you." Dean and Neville nodded. "Hi," they said.

"It's nice to meet you too," replied Corey, even though she realized that Seamus wasn't looking at her anymore. He seemed to be having a silent conversation with Ron. Corey wondered what that was about, but didn't want to dwell on it.

"Well, we're gonna head back," said Dean. "We'll see you guys later."

As they left, Harry, who had also noticed Ron's and Seamus's little conversation, whispered to Ron, "What was that all about?"

Ron grinned. "Oh, Seamus was just telling me that he thinks Corey's hot," he whispered back.

"And you?" asked Harry with a smile.

Ron blushed. "Agree," he said even softer.

Harry looked at him and said, "The only problem is, is that Malfoy seems to think so too."
