I have seen them grow, change, and bond from a distance. They have never ceased to amaze me. What they have accomplished throughout the years is incredible, and I envy them. But with accomplishment also comes pain. How do they live when pain is preying on them? How do they go on when death is calling their names? They have suffered greatly, and that I do not envy…

There is a trail through the Forbidden Forest that leads to Hogwarts, overgrown and hidden to everyone except the most desperate. Draco Malfoy is very, very desperate.

There was so much more to that ebony haired Ravenclaw that Harry couldn't see. After the war, Voldemort is gone and so is he. What happened in her eyes.

"All the newspapers did stories on him, on how cracked up he is, and how it’s such a joke that their savior went completely bonkers in the end... and I won’t tolerate it any more. He isn’t insane. He’s in grief." Harry's in St. Mungo's because he, apparently, went insane after the fight where he killed Voldemort. Hermione know's he's not insane, but nobody will listen. She tells the tale of what went on in the final battle and visits Harry in his final moments. WARNING! Mass character death.

How are things going for Harry the summer after OoTP? Here's a possible alternative... (Inspired by the very best, first-hand experienced teenage depression.:) Meanwhile, new characters come into play: Padme Connelly The Clever Ravenclaw joins the Order, and annoys Harry big time. But the way things are going, maybe she'll remain his last real friend...

Voldemort is dead, yet so is Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived. How did it get to that? Ginny, supposedly sleeping in the hospital wing, thinks about the events... and the day after.
