Nobody knows exactly why it happened. Perhaps it was the depletion of the ozone layer surrounding the Earth. Perhaps it was the knowledge of the upcoming doom about to befall the school, due to an attack from the Dark Lord. Or maybe it was just really, really hot outside. Whatever the reason, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry went insane.

Severus Snape is haunted by a memory that he'd rather not remember in the most eccentric manner.

Summary: The war is over just in time for graduation for all the seventh years. Hermione is one of the lucky ones to have survived. Of course, her friends weren't so lucky. It is during the party that Hermione finds herself lost in the music and for once letting herself see beyond looks and into a cold Slytherin's heart.
